Hello, my name is Rufus. I live a lovely life with Mistress and The One With The Beard. I am a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, living in Edinburgh, with a special talent for being cute and training my Mistress. I know what you're thinking, training humans can be a thankless task, but don't worry, I learnt all the tricks from an old dog called Chip. Mistress is now so obedient that we actually win prizes at things called "Dog Shows". There is a really big one coming up called "Crufts". If I can just get her to behave properly we might just be in with a chance...
I wanted to tell you my story and I've even got my Mistress to translate it. My friends are also helping me to tell you about all of our adventures, happy and sad. It's a true tale. My brother, Reuben, sometimes comes to stay over which is the best because we really love to play, run and even go for a splashy swim in the Dell together. And then there is the cat, Kitty, who is very good at grooming us and climbing trees and the bouncy, energetic, little puppy, Hugo.
Join me and the gang as we all help to prepare our Mistress for "The Big One".

An excellent little read, very easy to read and a prefect chapter size for my short daily commute. When is the next one out?
