I wrote a book once and it was terrible. Not 'put in the drawer or a deep folder on your hard drive to resurrect and look at again in the future' terrible. It was TERRIBLE terrible.

It was so epically terrible that it was burned, destroyed, removed without a trace, and the hard drive fed into machine that looked like the angry child of a wolverine and a lawnmower.

Not even the combined power of Wikileaks, the NSA and James Bond is getting that story back.

I went back to University and got an English Literature degree that made me want to dig up the corpse of the book I wrote and kill it again because nothing should be allowed to pollute any language the way that book did.

Instead I got an idea for a book I liked. Really liked. I work on it every day and I don't want to hunt it down before it escapes and ruins someone's day. This is the book that made me realise I love writing.

Outside of these mini-epiphanies I run a lot, game (a lot less than I used too because, writing), family a lot, work a lot (but not as seriously as I used too because being grown-up all the time makes Hulk mad), open-mic as much as I can (because there is nothing quite like being surrounded by writers, poets, and singers all loved up and supportive of each other - if you haven't tried it I recommend it) and sleep as much as I can. I love sleeping.

Be Healthy, happy, and loved.
