Jeannie West didn’t know the horrible history of her family... until after her death, a broken-hearted suicide after finding her fiance and her sister together. It seemed like an eternity since then, an eternity of unspeakable terror, torture, and despair. The only thing that kept her going was her insatiable thirst for revenge.
Michael really showed his writing versatility with this book compared to his previous series. The storyline kept me intrigued and wanting more and more from the characters — I wasn’t disappointed. As a Detroiter, I loved the Michigan references as well. I would love to see the story made into a movie.
