Chasing Hope
Matt Henney was a man without a home, but buying into his best friends’ ranch feels as if he’s finally come home. He might now be a broke man but he’s looking forward to planting some roots for the first time in his life and ditch the open road. Then comes along Matt who has patience with her limitations and is a friendly face she needs to get through each day. But trouble is following Hope; trouble she can’t remember. There is a killer out there and Hope is the only link. Hope and Matt will need to learn to trust each other in order to stop a killer. And to find a love that neither of them was looking for.

I enjoyed this story of starting over. Matt grew up in the foster system and has two good friends that he goes into business with, but in order to get the money to invest, he worked many long, lonely hours. It will be good to have a home and a permanent place to stay. Hope seems useless. All the other workers make fun of her because she is slow moving and a bit clumsy. She started over a couple of years ago and all she wants is to belong somewhere. She can't remember much of her past and that past is catching up with her. Matt sees something in her that others don't and is very patient with her. When danger comes after her, Matt is there to step in and protect her. Can he save her?
