After losing her husband in a tragic incident, Wesley goes into hiding from her father with the man he sent to rescue her. Vowing to never return to her controlling father’s hold, she begs her savior to be her protector. It didn’t take long before she realizes that she traded one prison for another.
Tragedy and loss were just another part of Amaze Johnson’s family legacy. Wanting to leave his families illicit dealings and dangerous encounters behind to pursue his forbidden love cost him everything. When his complicated relationship with his father ends with the key the questions that have plagued him with being revealed, Maze’s quest for vengeance begins.
The two characters come together in a haunting tale of love and redemption. Can true love stand the test of time through secrets, lies, and even death?
My heart broke for Amaze after learning how he lost his wife. 💔 He was devastated, searching high and low for those responsible for her death, ready to avenge her. 🥹 When his father dies, he leaves behind secrets that infuriate Amaze and put him on the fast track to war! While searching for his target he finds the last person on earth he expects to see. What the hell? Am I dreaming? 🤯
Wesley is just coasting through life for the sake of her son. She hates the life that she has with Galvin but is trapped in his prison. When she is snatched while out with Galvin on the town, she can't believe who has taken her! It can't be right? 👀
After the nonbelief wears off for both, the doubt begins to rise. Did she set me up? Did he know where I was all this time, and didn't save me? When the realization sets in that their manipulative, and selfish fathers put this all in motion, they are both livid, but quickly fall right back into the groove. There is fifteen years to make up for, and they are ready to collect. This was a different type of storyline that I really enjoyed. However, I hope there is more. Cause you really didn't end it like that right????? 👀
I loved turning every page of this book. It always amazes me when adults want to make life decisions for their grown children. I understand we as parents want the best for our children but they have to make their own way. AMAZE and WESLEY'S story pulls at your heart strings and tells you that soul ties are real!! Great story. Brava 📚❤️🎉
This is my first read by the author and I loved it! One thing this read tells you is you should never play with a man world or his heart!!
Maze didn’t want the life his father wanted him to have so he wondered off to do his own thing - college professor and he love it! The only thing he agreed on was running the shop until his father took his last breathe.. In this process he was loving and in love with his high school sweetheart and married her after graduating from college only to be ambushed and almost unalived by his and her father who assumed his and Maze father plan was successful- 🫣 but boy were they wrong 🤣! Finding out the only had my guy going ham on anyone that boy in bid way! But once the truth was revealed, the way this man was coming needing Wes was like no other! Then to find out he had a son! Listen this man is not playing with anyone at all!
Wesley heart only belonged to one man and one man only - Maze! My heart hurt to learn she was told the he was no longer amongst the living and he was told the same about her, only to find out fifteen years later it was all a lie. The length people will go to hurt those they are to love for their own gain. My heart went out to Wes as she was abuse by her father so he can gain the power he has! Honestly I don’t think I could be forced into an arranged marriage! I’m just saying! Oh but when the truth is out Wes does what needs to be done for the safety of herself and son Ant!
Listen the way Maze told her she was free and get herself together because he’s coming for his wife as his life has been in shambles since she been out of it! Then the way he let Ant know that he got him was everything to me!
Definitely can’t wait to get into the update on Wes and Amaze! The time has come for me to get into this author catalog!
Ms. James, this plot is amazing, Wesley and Amaze are a couple that should be together. You know the love was real when it was still strong as the day they fell fifteen years prior. Their hearts and souls never met another person to connect with. The "nightmares" that Wesley was having was so vivid until she sort of reimagined Amaze back in her life. Amaze and Wesley both needed to heal from the deep seeded scars their fathers left behind. If there is such a thing as an evil meter, both fathers are on the highest portion of it. The mercury is leaking out at this point. It was refreshing when the truth came to the light because Amaze gained double for his troubles. He got to add Anthony on his family tree and in his heart. Amaze, Wesley, and Anthony will eventually live at one residence as one happy family. That alone makes this read worth the while.
Ms. James, this kind of love that Amaze and Wesley had come around rarely. However, with the secret unfolding, Amaze was able to rekindle with the love of his life. This novella was short but packed a heavy punch. I would love to read more on Amaze, Wesley, and Anthony. Will the family expand? Is Anthony going to become a member of the bike club?
Who doesn't love a 2nd chance love story?! From the very first page, Say You Won’t Let Go pulls you into a whirlwind of love, loss, and the kind of pain that reshapes a person. Amaze thought he had life figured out—he was finishing college, deeply in love, and ready to carve his own path away from his father’s motorcycle club. But fate had other plans. When his wife is presumed dead, his world shatters, leaving him cold, hardened, and consumed by revenge for the next 15 years.
Wesley, on the other hand, had given her heart fully to Amaze, believing that marrying him would solve everything. But one explosion later, she’s thrown into a life of uncertainty, forced into hiding, and living in constant fear. For over a decade, she’s had no control over her future—until a twist of fate pushes her back onto a path she never saw coming.
This book is a fast-paced, emotional rollercoaster that keeps you wanting more. The tension, the angst, and the slow unraveling of Amaze and Wesley’s journey had me completely hooked. Their story isn’t just about rekindling love; it’s about survival, healing, and figuring out if love can truly conquer the damage life has dealt them.
It was a nice visit with Maze and Wesley to see them get a happy ending. Fifteen years was a long time to be apart and still be 'in love' with your ex. I guess it's possible. The fact that Wesley stayed with Galvin even when he abused her was a no go for me. One lick is enough for me. Overall, the revisit was a good read.
A thug whose educated and the betrayal they lived glad they reclaimed what was lost. It was good quick read for the weekend. Loved the mature characters
Loved it🥰🥰🥰my emotions. This story was simply amazing. I couldn't put it down. I loved it the plot and twisted they find each other he was definitely book 😍 bae
Losing the love of your life not knowing where the source of danger or who’s patron or foe. The unknown of where death is larking is the most difficult part in life.
This book was great… It drew me in within the first couple of pages. Galvin was my least favorite character. My heart went out to the Maze and Wes.. Just proves that what’s meant to be will be.
Whew! I don’t know who my heart broke more for Amaze or Wesley. Both of their backstories hurt my feelings because them fathers were a piece of work. I can’t wait for them to finally get together and be a family. With all they have been through they both deserve a happy ending
This was a very interesting story, but I was happy to see a happy ending for a couple that families didn’t want to see!!!… I hope there is more for this couple now that a man that wasn’t a husband is out of the picture!!!…A son who is reunited with his father!!!…I’m sure Galvin knew he was raising Amaze’s son!!!…
Now baby!! This story touched my heart because how do you function after losing a loved one with no closure. I felt for Amaze! They didn’t have to do him like that. But he was determined to get his revenge but when he was thrown a curve ball he didn’t know what to do or think. And poor Wesley her daddy was a pos smh 🤦🏾♀️ He treated her so wrong smh the only good thing she had was her son that kept her going. But I still have questions lol can’t wait for the next part
Okay, wait. Did I miss a book prior to this one, because, dang. Amaze was on a mission, and I believe I should have read about his mayhem. I have to do some digging now because this was good as a mystery solved, but there has to be a prelude.
This was an interesting novella. While I was able to figure out the plot and what happened by the second chapter, I was still intrigued to figure out how Amaze and Wesley would reunite. Their fathers wear a piece of work and beyond diabolical with what they did to keep these two apart and I felt bad for them both in finding out everything they had been told about the other and their lives since they were torn apart was a lie. I did appreciate the inferred happily ever after with the epilogue, it I also would have liked a longer book to see more of Amaze and Wesley after they reunited.
Manipulation caused Amaze and Wesley to be separated for 15 years. Fate brought them back together again. You could feel the love that Amaze and Wesley still had for each other even though they had been separated for such a long time. I'm glad that they didn't let the lies that they were told come between them after they were reunited. It goes to show that true love will prevail despite the circumstances. I didn't feel sorry for Galvin at all because he deserved what happened to him and more. This was a quick read full of lies and deceit with Amaze and Wesley's love winning in the end.
This was a quick read but was packed with so much. I felt bad for Wes being caught in Gavin’s mess not knowing who she really was. Once her identify was revealed I was floored this was such a beautiful reunion regardless of the how and why? Although it gave everything I still wanted more 🫶🏾 👏🏾
I loved Wes and Maze’s second chance story!! I can relate to the controlling parent thing, but their father’s took it to another level!! And I am so happy Wes stop acting like a victim and gave Galvan what he deserved!! Tatum James you have done it again!!😍
She was a housewife a prisoner in her own home, that dreamed of the past regularly. He was a professor and a biker! He was haunted by his past! When you truly love someone you never forget them! Death can’t keep you from them! A great read!
Wow them fathers were the worst. I really need to know what happened to Wes father. I think he need to be dealt with. Galvin got what he had coming. I'm so happy that they were able to find love again.
This was a good read, but I found it kind of tragic. This entire time, two souls that obviously belonged together spent 15 years in torture thinking the other one was dead. How do you reconcile that for 15 years, you lived in a hell built by the people who ho were supposed to have your back. I think it was as extra hard for Amaze because he not only lost his wife for that time, but he never got to experience so many of his sons firsts. At least Wesley did give him the real about who his father was. I mean Gavin couldn't have seriously believed that boy was his son, unless Wesley was immediately dropping it low for him after "losing her husband??" Well, off to see how things pan out for this family in the book Amaze. Happy Reading Y'all!💋
Damn...I still got questions but this was hella good. Not them being trucked for 15 years that each other was dead and then meeting like that I the end...so is the daddy gone get got cause I need to know that, he was in on that shit and I need him to pay. But I loved that their love literally spanned more than a decade. Seeing Wesley literally dream about him and the dreams were vivid was so powerful, like having a love that is indescribable and u yielding is such a beautiful thing. Galvin yeah ur ass got what u deserved...and I'm happy Wesley was the one to do it...
