By day, Maggie Wells is buried in spreadsheets, but at night she pens tales of people tangling sheets or tangled up in intrigue. The product of a charming rogue and a shameless flirt, this mild-mannered married lady has a naughty streak a mile wide.
The story is ok but it’s obvious who the culprit is from the beginning. My biggest issue is that I felt that the Simon portrayed in this book was vastly different from the Simon in the previous book. Also there was very little romance between Simon and Hannah. The references to Cara from book 1 didn’t add to the story and seemed out of place.
Liked the book. Low on romance but that was fine. I liked how smart the women were in the book. Beau(Hannah's dog) was sweet. Simon wasnt really a smart agent and I was surprised that he was the leader of his team. Mia described it perfectly when she said to him: “You’ll have to forgive me if I’m not all in on trusting your gut instincts these days”
