The third book in a brand new Mountain Man adventure series!
Bear and Travis leave the small town, returning to the wilds. Working a small gun shop renews them both in body and mind. During their two-year hiatus they study maps and discuss mistakes. With a firm plan they are ready.
They call the Stoney Mountains home. The trading post or the Crow village meet their few needs. Roaming puts them at odds with river pirates and hostile Indians. They meet a legend, the Crow called The Wandering Man. They meet old friends, Dave and Levi, hunting guides to the wealthy. Their client, a U.S. Senator, comes west with an ulterior motive. Travis witnesses Crow Medicine in action. He does not understand what he sees.
In this story, many small ventures contribute to one significant adventure.
This story kept me fully engrossed and, at the end, wanting more. Intelligent plot development and distinct characters were obvious early in the story. The protagonists were not super heroes, but knew what they wanted and knew how to keep what was theirs. Looking forward to the sequel.
This is a good book with a very good story line about a mountain man and his Native American friend, and their young friend, and some of the adventures they have together.
Book 3 , these books are getting better and better. The story is excellent, I am really enjoying the way they start a chapter with totally new characters then they start to intertwine with the old and favourite characters. With great adventures. Thank you.
