When Quinn moves to Florida to help her Grandma, the last thing she expected was to fall in love. But when she stumbles upon the theme park’s best stunt show it’s almost love at first sight with Grayson, the star.
Grayson, the charming lead performer at World of Enchantment, has always lived for the spotlight. Until the day he locks eyes with Quinn, the new waitress at the park’s busiest restaurant, and everything changes.
But love in a theme park is never as simple as it seems. Between Grandma Gertie’s endless supply of jokes, shocking stunt injuries and life changing opportunities, Quinn and Grayson have to figure out if they can navigate the twists and turns that life throws at them.
Can they hold on to the magic they’ve found? Or is their romance just another attraction in a park full of illusions? Full of heart, humor, and a lot of park magic, One Enchanted Summer is a rollercoaster ride of romance that will have you cheering for love at every twist and turn.
I liked this one a lot! It does have my least favorite trope but I was warned so it didn’t bother me. I do feel like things moved a bit fast between Quinn and Grayson but when you know you know I guess
I really enjoyed reading this arc copy! Such a cute and fun read! If you’re looking for a book that has summer vibes, theme parks, and looooove this is the book for you 💖
4.5-5⭐️ So excited to read this book before its release! A theme park romance is so unique and exciting, and the author did a fantastic job describing the park, the food, and the rides to make readers feel like they are really there. I don’t think I’ll ever look at a stunt performer at a theme park the same ever again. 🥵 This book is the author’s first with “spice”, but done so in a way that I’d consider it closed door. OBSESSED.
This book was just okay. I really wished the author had put more effort into making the theme park feel unique. It felt like an off brand version of Disney. The descriptions often felt too reminiscent of Disney World and Epcot, which took away from the story’s originality. There were also numerous moments when I felt like I was reading about college students, not adults in their late 20s. The characters seemed surprisingly immature for their age, which made it hard to connect with them.
While I didn't truly enjoy this book, I loved the happy ending and I will likely try to read more work from this author.
Absolutely magical. A wholesome love story that takes place at a theme park. All of the characters were well developed and there were times I was on the edge of my seat. I am so grateful to have been provided with an Advanced Copy of this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author!
Another super sweet romance by Aja!! This was so easy to read, I couldn’t put it down and finished the majority of it in a day.
I prefer closed door romance so I was worried I might need to skip some pages, but it was very tastefully written that it didn’t bother me and it was easy to skim past. And honestly still very low spice.
I loved the characters and enjoyed the way their characters were more fleshed out and dealt with conflict. I thought the trope was very well done and enjoyed it all the way through!
Spoiler part: I did end the book feeling slightly uneasy about the abusive ex, I felt like his storyline wasn’t as nicely wrapped up. I get that it’s like real life but a restraining order or knowing he officially left town might have been nice!
Also, I totally need a teen romance sequel where the daughter also falls in love at the park 🥹

A fun little beach read! I enjoyed the whimsical fairytale type nature of it all while still addressing serious topics. The characters were relatable and lovable!
This cute love story was a highlight of my reads this year. The story was easy to follow, and I love a dual perspective. The relationship between Quinn and Grayson could be out of a storybook, as it were, and I just Ate. It. Up.
Wow oh wow!!! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to a show/performance of some kind and dreamed of somehow getting the guy on stage to notice me…. It’s like the author read my mind and made literally all of my wildest dreams come true.
I loved loved loved these characters and the level of romance in this book! There was just the right amount of spice! The author did so well building the characters and their stories. And even better, she made this summer fling into the romance of a lifetime. Quinn and Grayson are two of my favorites of hers… I will be reading it again and again.
Be still my whole heart! This fun, easy beach read will have you melting with heart eyes the whole way through. There were some unexpected twists in the storyline that left me surprised and I loved that it wasn’t sunshine and rainbows the entire time. It felt like a more realistic portrayal of a quick romance.
I thoroughly enjoy the progression of Jorgensen’s writing from her earlier novels. This one has some more mature content that is written with a demure tone and didn’t leave me feeling the least but uncomfortable.
This was a wonderful book. The story was great, the writing was beautiful and ease of reading was awesome.
The only feedback I have that kept from a full 5 stars is that I wanted more. I wanted to see things unfold more with Colin and him getting the heck out of Florida. I also wanted to see more of Gray and Q’s moments just more details to make them come to life more.
It was a really amazing read and I can’t wait to see what this Author does in the future.
“Amusement parks are fun, too, but there’s something extra special about a theme park. It’s completely immersive and feels like you’re in a different world.” -Quinny
Swipe to page 22 and…. Nope. This is boring AF. The best part about the book is it is set in Florida, talking about how great theme parks are. Besides how boring this book is, there is a glitch that keeps turning my books into hieroglyphics so I have to close the app every 2-3 pages. Not fun.
I’ve been loving this author’s books and this one did not disappoint! It’s a wonderful blend of adorable characters, high-stakes drama, and and enchanting setting! I felt like I was right there with Quinn in the theme parks and experiencing all of her emotions as life threw different curves at her. Can’t wait for the next one!
I really enjoyed the story and the characters, so I wanted to love this. Sometimes it read like diary entries though. The transitions felt clunky, often changing the scene abruptly, causing me to have to reread to figure out what was happening. Spicy scenes were frequently so vague, I didn't realize it was a "bedroom scene" until halfway through.
A cute Florida amusement park inspired romance & a quick summer read! A few chapters seemed not completely proofread. I also feel like things moved too fast with Grayson & Quinn in the story...I’m not a huge fan of pregnancy tropes. I really loved Gertie & the premise as a Disney girlie. 🤗

This is a sweet little rom-com. Quinn (the FMC) is staying with her grandmother in Florida for the summer, getting away from an abusive relationship in Colorado. She gets a job at a restaurant at the lical amusement park. Grayson (the MMC) is a performer at the local amusement park (a stand-in for Disney). Will this romance last or is it a summer fling? Can Quinn deal with Grayson's dangerous stuntman job? Will the shadow of Quinn's ex and his abuse sour this relationship?
Read this because a challenge demanded a ferris wheel on the cover. So, here I am. This was a pretty predictable meet-cute, summer fling set up. No real surprises. But the characters were cute. Loved the feisty grandma and her bestie (read it for that if nothing else). I didn't love that this was such a rebound connection. Had Quinn really had time to be ready for this? And then Quinn's ex shows up to make trouble, but then just weirdly fades away. Grayson's dangerous job seems an issue, but that also shakes out a bit too easily for me.
A Happy-Ever-After, nothing too complicated, beachy-summer read
I’ve read all of Aja Jorgensen’s books, and this is by far her best writing and story development - it is SO good! I love the characters, the back and forth dual perspective style. This is a little spicier than her past books but it’s still very much only a 1 or 2 out of 5 on the spice scale if you’re worried about that. Definitely recommend this one!
