This book had me shook! Friendsgiving was packed with drama from start to finish. Jameson’s reaction to Kimberly’s news? A mess. Blair and Harrison? Wild. And then Desni and Damian showing up without their partners? A recipe for beautiful disaster! I want Desni and Damian to get together so bad lol they need to get it together and be together already!
There was so much to unpack, and I loved that we got to hear everyone’s perspective—it made the story even more intense. And let’s talk about the heat… whew! 🥵
I need Rings ASAP because I have to know what happens next. Trust and believe, I will be sat for that book!

Baby the multiple POV had me so invested in each couples pending endings. I should have known since this was a holiday novella the author was going to leave me wanting more but she’s making us wait 😢
Kennedy & Jameson will always be couples goals. I love how we were able to see a glimpse into their life and how well they work together even during their differences.
Desni & Damian with their shenanigans got me wanting to know what’s really good. They keep stringing along their significant others know good and dogon well they want each other but Desni keeps fighting it.
IDK what’s up with Cuzn Marlon but we all need one in our life 😂
Blaire and Harrison are always pulled together because of the Belafontes. If it wasn’t for them IDK if this unexpected situationship will ever result in a true romance but after Blaire’s with her business and Harrison needing to look good for upcoming political campaigns one will only hope for a HEA.
SOOOOOOOOOO, there are still a lot of unanswered relationships questions, uncertain proposals, and possibly other unexpected situations I can’t wait to get the 411 on.
Overall this is a great book. The Author knew what she was doing. She created a hype that go you wanting more and I am here for it.
This is a cliffhanger book so be prepared

Thanksgiving and make it messy. I thought this was going to be a sweet light hearted thanksgiving novella. Well, Ms. Brooks had me fooled lol. Jameson and Kennedy gave us wholesome couple squabble. You know some light work. Jameson’s stubbornness keeps getting in his way. But just as quickly as he put his foot in his mouth, he tried his damnedest to correct the issue. Kennedy stood her ground and I love that for her.
Blaire and Harrison are cute. Harrison has his eye on the prize. That prize being Blaire’s love and affection lol. Blaire needs to stop playing she hard to get. She knows she’s in love with Harrison.
Now as for Damian and Desi, chile it’s a mess. 🥴 Not Desi talking about having boundaries when she already crossed the boundaries several times. Like babygirl you gotta stop lying to yourself. I was rooting for there relationship but damn 😬. What I’m most upset about is how she played in Joaquim’s face. Blatantly! The blowback won’t be good. There is so much I could say, but I’ll just say, the tea is hot 🥵 and a few people are gonna get burned. 🫣🫣

Friendsgiving with the Belafontes is the perfect storm of drama, laughs, and swoon-worthy moments — a chaotic, cozy, and emotionally loaded holiday feast you won't want to miss.
Getting more glimpses into Kennedy and Jameson’s life was an absolute treat! They continue to be couple goals with every stolen glance and soft moment, even when they have problems — seriously, can they be more perfect?
But it’s not all sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. Blair and Harrison are simmering with unresolved tension, and I am so here for it. The way their story is slowly unfolding has me glued to the page.
And then there’s Desni and Damian. Where do I even begin? These two need to stop dancing around what everyone (including themselves) already knows. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the push-pull between them is delicious torture. Just be together already!
I’m not going to lie — I saw that cliffhanger coming, but that didn’t mean I was remotely ready for it when it hit!! Safe to say I absolutely loved this book.
Verdict: Packed with heart, heat, and high-stakes drama, Friendsgiving is the messy, irresistible holiday story that delivers on every front — and leaves you begging for more.

My nerves are BAD over this!!
This month can’t go by fast enough for me to see what them two FOOLS goin do….I’ll circle back to D&D…..
I was looking forward to this one after getting caught up with all the books. The one word that keeps coming up for all the couples is COMMUNICATION. A second would be HONESTY. Everyone is grown but can’t say how they really feel. Jameson and Kennedy finally getting it and I am proud of their growth.
I can’t wait to see what Harrison and Blare decide to do. I understand situations but Harrison seems to be down to help with whatever, Blare just needs to open her mouth and take the cape off.
Back to Des and Dame….them two has had DECADES to be honest with one another but playing. At first, I wanted to root for them and a little 👌🏾piece of me still does, but after the events of this book and Desni’s decision, it might be best if they be apart, not even friends because they don’t know what that means. Savanna and Joqinn suffers because of them and that is not fair.
Even after saying all that, I am invested and my pre-order already set. Everyone better get some sense in the next book.

The Belafontes Feel Like Family
Friendsgiving with The Belafontes was everything I wanted and more. Danielle Brooks delivered a story full of heart, heat, and a friend group you instantly wish you could be part of. The Black love representation was beautiful, the friendships were genuine, and the writing was so smooth it felt like slipping into a favorite sweater.
And that twist? I did not see it coming, and I loved every second of it! Desni and Damien stole my heart, and I’m already counting down the days until we get more of their story. The spice was the perfect slow burn, full of chemistry, tension, and all the right feels. I seriously cannot praise this book enough.
If you're looking for a romance that celebrates friendship, love, and the kind of connections that feel like family, Friendsgiving with The Belafontes needs to be on your shelf.

I love the fact that almost all Greenbrook characters made an appearance in this short Thanksgiving vibe story. This story is full of drama, excitement, Twist, turns and to top it off love. The tropes explored in this story is fake dating and second-chance romanc. The only thing that hurt my heart is how the story ended, I look forward toreading about desn and Damian story and Blair and harrison’s story, I just know it will be juicy

Ending a novella with a cliffhanger is nasty work. If you lf you knew the story wasn’t gonna be complete then you should’ve left it alone. It’s supposed to be a Friendsgiving novella—baby how did we even get here? Smh. I will admit that the story made me want to go back and read the catalogue but I’m still salty about that cliffhanger. Some of the dialogue was cringe. Like baby it’s okay to say dixk and pxssy all the euphemisms ain’t necessary for real. Overall, first time author and it was a decent story.

Danielle Brooks Friendgiving with the Belafontes gives all the holiday feels . This is a feel good holiday novella for thanksgiving that brings a group of friends together at the Belafontes home . We are following three couple in a friend group that navigating their relationships over the course of the holiday weekend. My favorite was Damian and Desni the friends to lovers. I enjoyed this and will definitely check out more books by this author.

I can't wait until 2025. I can't believe she did that. I would've thought she kept it and then would eventually tell him they had to break up. This just complicated things so much further. I just know the author is going to release Blaire and Harrison first knowing we want Desni and Damian. Great teases tinge upcoming books. Could've used less chapters of Jameson and Kennedy since they didn't add much.

I came for Desni & Damian and left with all the feels for Blaire & Harrison and even more feels for Des & Dame. The multiple POVs was done masterfully and I love how different every couple is, yet how easily their love is felt with each interaction. You snapped again, Ms. Brooks!

The gang was back together in this second book in the Belafonte & Friends series. This book was filled with fun, some drama, and of course sex. There were some connections that were expanded on in this book and I enjoyed it. I am curious to see where things wind up with Desni & Damian in Rings and what is in store for Blaire and Harrison in their book.

This was a very emotional story of best friends and love that roots deep as lasting love. The characters are likeable, friendly and complex. This story is not over as it ends with a cliffhanger. I enjoy this book. Enjoy

OH, THE BOMBSHELL ENDING!!!
If you've read Kenderella and Just Kicking it, then you've met most of the characters. Friendsgiving with the Belafonte's, include Kennedy & Jamison hosting a Friendsgiving with their close friends, Desni, Damien, Harrison & Blaire. You get all their POV's to understand what's going on in their lives and more. you get insight into what Desni and Damien has been up to since their valentines night, Blair & Harrison budding friendship*, and of course life with the new married couple Jamison & Kennedy.
While it started off slow getting everyone's POV as they get ready for thanksgiving, once the crew got together things got interesting. Jamison & Kennedy having their first big dispute, Blaire trying not to have feelings for Harrison. And then there is Desni and Damian both now in relationships with their respective partners asking for boundaries.
I was really entertained and was not expecting the ending. must read especially before going into the next book RINGS
