This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the second book in the Hawk Security series. I have read the first book in this series before picking up this book. I really loved Terry and Grace, and I love the hate to love thing they have going on in this book. There is a lot of drama and action going on in this book. I really enjoyed reading this book. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

I was honoured to receive this as an advanced copy. This is my honest review.
Terry Goodwin - Tyrant, Sir Galahad, Rambo - has always had a thing for Grace but due to the Bro code he can't make a move on his friend's sister even though he said he had to look out for her if anything happened to him. This resulted in him trying to drive her away
Grace Ellen Brennan - Kitty, Hellcat, Kitten
created the company SpaceMasters where she organises anything & designs things for the customer's taste. Her sport of choice is darts.
Grace really can't deal with blood, if she can smell it or see blood on herself or others she will faint which is dangerous for herself.
Grace's cousin's took an item that he was meant to deliver. As a result this has numerous bad guys trying to track him down. As they can't find him all the bad guys decide that Grace is the next best thing, so she has numerous attempts made on her life.
Grace was introduced to Terry a few months ago when her friend Serena needed her to pretend that she was dating Terry.
Both Terry & Grace were at the same party when Grace received the randsome phone call about her cousin.
One of my favourite quotes is this as it applies to 'another' situation & not in the sense that you read it!!!

Gripping and entertaining. Well worth the reader's time. And guaranteed to grab your attention and take it for a 400 + page ride.
It touches all the bases. Tough ex-Marine hero. Strong-willed, headstrong woman who built a successful business on her own. They've known each other for years. Her brother asked the hero to keep his eye on her while he was away. And he accomplished it by arguing with her about absolutely everything.
He frequently demeaned her with unflattering nicknames, though it really was only to make sure they never strayed into the dangerous but steamy territory they both felt.
Early in the book, she finds herself the target of not one, but two evil forces. Hero becomes her bodyguard, throwing them together and . . . No spoilers here, but you get the picture. The reader is treated to a thrilling and entertaining trip; it will keep you turning page after page.
So why not five stars? It has twists and turns and even a few surprises along the way, but it was just a little too familiar. If you like the genre, enemies to lovers, tough but tender. You’ll love it.

Terry is apart of Hawk Security and he and Grace don’t exactly get along. But Terry promised his best friend, Pete (Grace’s brother) years ago that he would look after Grace if anything happened to Pete. Well, several years later Terry is still looking after Grace. But she is off limits. In order to keep his sanity, he has pushed her away to hide his true feelings. Until the day comes and Grace is in danger. Her cousin Elliot has gotten into some massive trouble and he brings Grace into it. Now there are people after Elliot and Grace and Hawk Security is stepping in. Terry, along with his team, will protect Grace, or try.
Let’s stop there- in the first book we read about Serena. Serena and Grace are best friends. But something about these women..I’m all about a strong, confident, independent woman…but…there is independent and stupid! If a well known security team, all military, tells you something, you listen. Period! The story is really good but good grief, these women are infuriating. Back to the story, naturally with the close proximity of Terry and Grace, they start to get closer. But they have a ride before they can claim their HEA.

I wish I had discovered Erin Swann earlier. This is such a fun read, I was hooked from the beginning.
🤣 he-man + she-woman & they know how to push each other's buttons (which I found rather amusing).
Most families have a bird with a broken wing, Grace's is no exception; the only difference is that he is her only remaining family, Elliot. 🙄 I really would have kicked him to the kerb a long time ago never mind after the first time she was attack now.
The dynamics between the various characters are entertaining, in some cases intense. The pace equally as intense. It's always great to read about camaraderie particularly in this world of chaos.
I look forward to reading more of Erin's books.

Terry has been attracted to his best-friend’s baby sister forever, and when he went MIA and Terry became her guardian, she was been more off-limits. To make her avoid him he makes cruel remarks, not realising how hurtful he is being.
Grace thinks Terry hates her and so constantly lashes out verbally at him. When she is in danger, Terry rushes to her aid and then proceeds to boss her around, leading to her trying to avoid him.
This is an action-packed, edge of the seat action, with their unavoidable attraction getting in the way. Grace is constantly in danger thanks to her cousin and Terry is trying to keep her safe from the bad guys and himself. There are even a few funny moments too. I loved this entertaining couple.

I absolutely loved reading Guarding Grace . Grace and Terry have a love hate relationship . Terry is Grace's brother's best friend and since he went missing overseas Terry has been watching out for her . Grace thinks Terry is a jerk and condescending towards her . Little does she know he fights his feelings and attraction wards her all the time because of the brother . When Grace is in danger Terry and Hawk Security step in to protect Grace . Feelings and attraction cannot be stopped when you're in close quarters and fighting for your life . This story is outstanding full of suspense and intrigue so action packed and entertaining . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Terry and Grace. Shes an organizer. She can organize anything you throw at her. Hes former Swat and former military now Hawk Security. Hes also her brothers best friend. Shes been thrown into organized crime and has a target on her back and now hes her protector. Hes been her guardian since her brother was MIA and to keep his feelings a secret he has unknowingly been hateful and cruel. Thinking he hates her she responds with retorts to protect her heart. Now that hes keeping her close it gets harder and harder to hide his feelings. This is a gritty emotional read with danger and action with interesting and entertaining charecters.

I loved Terry and Grace’s romantic suspense story. Terry is best friend to Grace’s brother and as such she is off limits to Terry who has therefore kept an extremely cool, sometimes mean, demeanour towards Grace. However when Grace is endangered by the actions of her cousin, Terry comes to her aid along with the whole of Hawk Security to ensure her safety. As the danger evolves, so too do their true feelings. I love the characters in this series, the loyal friendships and work ethics and the whole romantic suspense of the stories.

An exciting and action packed second book in the Hawk Security series. Grace finds herself in danger because of her cousin. Terry and Hawk Security step in to protect Grace. I enjoyed the way they danced around their attraction to each other. Lots of action, bits of humor, realizations, steamy sparks, revelations, and danger kept me turning the pages of this suspenseful romance. Excited to see where this series takes me!

This is the 2nd book in the Hawk Security series by Erin Swann and this is Grace Brennan (creator of SpaceMasters/faints at the sight of blood) and Terry Goodwin (former LAPD SWAT officer/Marine Scout Sniper/now with Hawk Security Grace's brothers' best friend) story. Grace’s cousin, Elliot is mixed in a heap of trouble & gets Grace into more danger, totally not deserving to be involved in his mess. The suspense is intense, as well as Terry & Grace’s romantic interest towards each other. A great lengthy novel to read but once you start reading, there’s no putting it down until the last page!

I have been looking forward to reading book two and it has not disappointed me. I really enjoyed getting to know Terry and Grace better, seeing their connection and chemistry and their interactions. I enjoyed seeing their relationship evolve, the support they got from their friends and the growth they both went through.

Grace and Terry have a long bad history that doesn’t make him being her protector and easy task. Grace is the little sister of Terry’s best friend that he’s been half in love with for to long but chose the path of the jerk to keep her away. However proximity and heightened situations change those feelings to ones of truth. It’s a wild ride full of danger adventure and romance woven though the story.

I enjoyed this romance, it is part of the "Hawk Security" bodyguard series. It is an interesting and intriguing story with some suspense. The story is about Terry and Grace, his best friend’s little sister. She has attracted attention from the wrong group of people. Terry, a former LAPD SWAT officer, now works for Hawk Security. He is enlisted to protect Grace. This is a page turner with some witty banter and dialogue.

The Hawk men just get my vote every time, ticking all the boxes of what a real man is.
Grace bad luck run seems to have run its course after her cousin Elliott's greed out her in the cross hairs of son not very good people.
Terry comes to the rescue and boy does he excel at his job.
Wonderful love story with so many happy endings.

I really love this book! The characters are loyal, smart, and bonded - both the men and women. There is plenty of suspense and action along with some romance. This is a very entertaining and enjoyable book!!! I look forward to the next in the series.
