Decline into Midnight

Rate this book
With the defeat of the Scion, Dove and her friends make it to San Francisco. The Army has tentatively given the companions use of their resources though neither group gives trust to the other. The only text they find is a prophecy referring to the dark destinies. A prophecy foretelling the coming of the Darkness and of how Demons will finally rule the earth. Frustration at this discovery causes Dove to take a moment to clear her head. During this she comes across a vampire attacking a woman. The kill leaves her with more questions than answers. The main one being, how did a monster find its way through the perimeter wards?

The Seed of Darkness planted within Dove is growing. It is becoming harder for her to fight its influence. There are times when she wants so badly to give in but she fights on. Dove knows she will not be able to hold it back forever and fears for what will become of not only her but her friends.

Meanwhile the figure behind The Darkness makes an appearance deciding that with the death of The Scion it is time for him to take a more direct approach. With the ability to choose his own champions he begins building a strategy to bring down the companions. Will the companions be able to prevail over these latest developments or will The Dark Destinies come to fruition?

I was born in the small town of Greensburg, Indiana. As I grew up we bounced around from place to place and sometimes state to state. When I finally was able to set down roots it happened to be in a smaller town of Hope, Indiana. Stephen King inspired me to become a writer with the brilliant story telling he has been able to create. Here I stated working on short stories and struggling harder as an author. After years of having nothing happen from my writings I simply gave up. I felt that if something was going to happen it would have by now. I moved away to Minnepolis, MN where I met the love of my life. I became a father and got a job as a Security Officer. I still wrote in my free time but it was just for fun. My fiancee read one of my unfinished works and encouraged me to pursue a career in writing again. After a while of her “encouraging” me I finally decided to get serious again. I have now released my first novel Across the Ages and I couldn’t be happier.

I am working on a website now. I'm posting the link but it's still a work in progress so bare with me all.
