EP1 was built in absolute secrecy. It consisted of an enormous clear central dome covering some one hundred acres, situated on a series of interlocking stainless steel blocks feet in thickness and designed in the form of a tetracontagon, a building having forty sides. The clear dome top has a support grid of titanium ridges. These ridges can be closed with the push of a button to cover the clear glass dome with six inches of steel plating thereby protecting the delicate labs housed beneath. Beneath the dome's steel flooring are eight levels constructed below ground.
Military and civilian commander of the complex is Col. Dr. Bradley McCormick.
Irishman, Connor O'Hara is second in command and is the world's leading data design specialist, mentored by both Saunders and McCormick.
Mika Romanoff, a scientist who defected from Russia to work on a secret program for Saunders, is not only an incredibly beautiful masculine man, but at six feet eight he can take command of any male around him. Full of bravado, but soft hearted, he speaks ten languages fluently, multiple dialects, graduated from medical school when eighteen, then pursued degrees in disciplines that actually interested him; his IQ has not been measured.
Sergeant Bryan Howell, McCormick’s dependable military assistant and the authoritative head of the militia, is a man of selective tastes.
Dr. Broderick Longarrow, MD, native American (Apache) classically handsome and brilliant head of medical personnel and certified in many specialties. He is youngest to have ever graduated from an elite medical school in USA.
Dr. Peter von Leutzendorf, somewhat introverted blonde with striking good looks from Germany. In his mid twenties he has been recognized as the world's foremost geneticist; working with and under Mika Romanoff.
These are just some of the men fate has thrown together, to steer the course of mankind from extinction and to usher the members of EP1 and, if successful, into a new age.
