I received an ARC of **Deadly Assets** by Wendy Tyson from Henery Press in exchange for an honest review. **Deadly Assets** is the second book in the Allison Campbell series, and it is just as good a read as **Killer Image** was. While I don't think it's necessary to have read these books in order to avoid confusion about past events in these character's lives, purely for the reading experience and enjoyment, I'd recommend reading both books.

Allison Campbell owns and runs an image consultant firm in which she takes on clients and shows them how they can improve how they are perceived and how to score well with social media. Campbell and her associate, Vaughn, have made a respectable name for themselves in this venue; what one doesn't cover, the other does, so their operation is run like a well oiled machine. They have been contacted by Francesca Benini of Benini Enterprizes to help the company boost its image in the face of its declining revenue. The business operates both in the US and Europe; the business makes wine and until recently they have been very successful.

At the same time as Allison is contacted by the Beninis, she receives a call from Denise Carr, an agent who is representing Tammy Edwards, an up-and-coming singer who comes from Scranton, PA. Tammy has few if any skills other than her beautiful voice, so Allison will be expected to make her over into someone with crowd appeal. Except that when Tammy and Allison finally begin to communicate, Tammy says she doesn't want the life Denise Carr laid out for her. Tammy wants to go to Julliard and become an opera singer.

Allison has her a work cut out for her with both clients, but she's sure between Vaughn and her they can work for the best interests of both clients. That is until both her clients disappear, and it's quite possible one or both of them were murdered or kidnapped. The more that is revealed about Francesca and Tammy, the more puzzling it becomes as to what happened to either of them. It doesn't seem like there's any connection between the two women.... or is there?

This is where Wendy Tyson is at her best. She's roped me into the story, and since I have no idea who did what to whom, I'm at her mercy to reveal more and more of how all this happened. There are nail biting moments, and there are frustrating times - exactly what any really good mystery novel should have. Tyson also has the ability to keep readers guessing until the very end with a last minute revelation or a twist that keeps the reader focused on the story even after the last page is read.

And then there's the romance side of the book. I don't need graphic descriptions of spit swopping or what acrobatic contortions two people can manage while white water rafting. Tyson tells it just right with just enough electric passion to keep the lights on but without having to burn the whole building down. There's a third book planned for this series, and I am going to be first in line when that becomes available. Wendy Tyson has become one of my favorite authors, and I highly recommend any of the books she's written.

Darker and grittier than I was expecting this barely qualifies as a cozy. When I see that the primary character is not associated with the police, a PI or a journalist I always get a bit nervous but Allison investigating the disappearance makes sense. These aren't active police investigations and for her business she needs to track down these 2 people. She always represents herself honestly and while a few of the situations she finds herself in do border on TSTL (To Stupid To Live) I can see and understand how she got into the situation. I like that the characters actually talk to each other about things that are bothering them and the scene where Mia tells Jason that he either needs to support Allison or risk losing her made me want to reach into the book and hug her. There are a lot of tiny little subplots and threads of investigations and it was fascinating watching these all come together.

Con: About 2/3 of the way in it kind of felt like I hit a wall in terms of the pacing of the book. It felt like we were turning from plot advancement to time to wrap this up and it wasn't necessarily the smoothest transition. Wow! That's vague! I'm sorry about that and I really wish I had actual words to describe it better.

Overall: While this is the 2nd in the series this is the first book by Tyson that I've read. There are a few mentions to earlier cases but no spoilers (other than Allison survives which isn't really a spoiler) and I had no problem understanding who the characters were, their issues, and relationship to each other. This was a page turning read and I'm looking forward to reading more of Allison's adventures. My only real flaws with this were definitely on the nit-picky side!

Deadly Assets

by
Wendy Tyson

A Review

I continue to enjoy reading the titles coming out of Henery Press. Deadly Assets is no exception. Though this title is not quite as “cozy” as others I have read, the book is still a top notch mystery that should delight most fans of the books coming out of this publisher.

Allison Campbell is a self-described image consultant, what others might call a life coach. However, as of yesterday, her two most recent clients have disappeared. Coincidence? Maybe - maybe not. It would take Allison and her team of associates working together to come to the bottom of the mystery before one or both of the clients would not just be missing but also dead.

The book was fun to read, though it did seem to slow down as I reached the 60% point of the book. This was balanced by details I learned about my home in Upstate NY and Southeast PA, as well a number of subjects of lesser interest to me. I found Jason’s observation very helpful in restating a truth I learned some years ago as my wife and I (now together for 40 years) went through some times, “When you love someone, trust can feel an awful lot like letting go.” It was true when I learned it - it is true now.

Was this the perfect cozy mystery - NO. But it was worth my time reading it from beginning to end. I suspect many other will find this to be true as well.

This was a highly anticipated book for me since I definitely like the first one, Killer Image. In Deadly Assets, Allison Campbell is caught up in the mystery of having her two clients disappear on the same day. Suffice to say this is definitely not very good for business not to mention she just got out of solving one mystery with her life at stake, adding another two isn't really good for her health. Like the previous book, the mystery aspect will definitely keep the readers guessing on what really happened. The writing and unravelling of the case was very precise and logical. There were hints here and there but a lot of surprises that definitely engages the reader. On a subjective level, I felt like it was unavoidable to compare it to the first one. The writing was definitely excellent, the characters consistent and well crafted but here it felt like there was something missing, a certain spark that was noted in Killer Image but seem to be missing here. I still enjoyed reading it and will definitely will be following the series.

This is my second Wendy Tyson book and it didn't disappoint. DEADLY ASSETS is a well woven mystery that that had me guessing until the very end. Tyson’s writing style continues to impress with an amazing balance of descriptive writing along with dialogue that suits the characters. She also has an amazing ability to take a setting that might not fall into mainstream novels and run with it. Being somewhat familiar with the setting in which the majority of the novel takes place; I wonder where my own imagination will take me on my next Finger Lakes Wine Tour.

For me personally, character relationships are important and should continually evolve, especially in a series. Tyson does a wonderful job on this with Allison Campbell’s inner circle of friends. I find myself becoming as attached to them as I do the main character. A surprise for me:DEADLY ASSETS being a bit more gritty or edgy read than KILLER IMAGE was. I like this direction and it seems to be a natural progression for the characters considering the situations they are finding themselves in.

Once again, I’m extremely happy I found Wendy Tyson and am very much looking forward to the next book in the series.

The second Allison Campbell mystery continues to prove Tyson's chops for writing great suspense. She maintains the dark, edgy feel of Killer Image without grisly violence, which will please readers who enjoy traditional mysteries.

In Deadly Assets, image consultant Allison Campbell hunts for two missing clients. Although their disappearances coincide, their cases seem too remote -- a teen pop idol and an older heiress to an Italian company -- to be anything but coincidental. Allison, her assistant Vaughn, his invalid brother Jamie, and Allison's ex-mother-in-law and mentor Mia work together again to search for clues to find their clients as well as the secrets surrounding them.

I got a sneak peak at the second book in the Alison Campbell mystery series, Deadly Assets. I like how Wendy Tyson is able to develop two story lines, one of a missing teenaged girl and the other, a reclusive heiress. Ms. Tyson further develops the supporting characters in this novel and has the reader wondering what's to come for them while simultaneously trying to figure out the mysteries! This was a fun read and left me looking forward to the next novel...

I loved the first Allison Campbell book and I certainly loved this one too. It had a great cast of characters and was another mystery that kept me reading and guessing until the end. I really enjoy and recommend Wendy's books and will be looking forward to her next one.

First of all, it’s important to know that Deadly Assets is the second Allison Campbell mystery. When a representative of the publisher contacted me, because I’d reviewed another of author Wendy Tyson’s novels late last year, I was actually sent a copy of book one, Killer Image, as well. I read both books back-to-back over the last few days, and loved them both.

Tyson excels at writing mysteries that are grounded in real life, plausible situations. You never feel that her stories are complete fantasy, and some of the chill you get while reading them is because so many of the characters could be people you know. As well, she populates her novels with diverse characters – Allison herself, Allison’s ex-mother-in-law Mia, who is dating Christopher Vaughn (known by his last name) who is also Allison’s colleague in her image consulting firm, and happens to be African-American, and his computer genius brother who happens to be quadriplegic – these are just a few. This makes you really believe that the novels take place in a real version of Pennsylvania.

Both novels, and Deadly Assets especially, are also incredibly well plotted. While it’s true that I was able to solve each cast slightly before Allison herself did, that’s only because we, as readers, see a bit more of the big picture than she does as a character. Still, I was never disappointed by any of the twists or turns that took place, and when Allison was in jeopardy, while I knew she was unlikely to die (this is a series, after all) I also knew that Tyson had no qualms about giving her serious injuries.

Where Killer Image included the requisite first-novel-in-a-series exposition of character backstory, Deadly Assets focused mainly on the current story. This in no way made the second book hard to follow, as there was enough backstory to understand the flavor of each recurring character. In fact, it could very easily be read as a standalone novel without the reader feeling like anything was missing, though reading them in order will increase your enjoyment, as it did mine.

If you’re looking for a mystery series that has believable characters, plausible storylines, and a great mix of character and action – especially if you’re looking for such a series in which women are the crime solvers and not only the victims, you must – must – read Wendy Tyson’s Allison Campbell series. Deadly Assets was just published this week, and I’m already itching for book three.

Dollycas’s Thoughts

Oh this one is so good!!!

Allison’s clients couldn’t be more different. When they both disappear on the same day and their only connection seems to be her company Allison jumps in with both feet to get to the truth.

Francesca hasn’t left her home in years but when her brother falls ill she has to take over the family business. She needs Allison’s help so that she can show the family and their shareholders she is up to the task.

Tammy has been chosen to be on a television singing show. She has a beautiful voice but Allison is hired by her “manager” to help with her social skills and in the fashion/hair makeover departments.

Allison knew she had her work cut out for her with both women but never thought they would just disappear without a trace.

Both of these women have families that go way beyond the normal eclectic/quirky levels. Wendy Tyson has created some of the best characters I have read lately. She has allowed Allison, Vaughn, Jason and Mia to grow since Killer Image, the first story in this series.

Tyson puts her characters in some very unexpected situations with some masterful twists. Allison does not let her fear of her own physical safety hold her back and at times I was so scared for her! You will not believe who she is taking on in her quest to find the truth!

This is one of those books where you sit down to read and hold on tight because you will stay up late reading until you reach the very end.

DYING BRAND, the 3rd book in this series comes out May 2015 and I can’t wait!

Allison Campbell, image consultant, and all her friends are back and they have an intriguing mystery on their hands. Two clients of First Impressions image consulting have disappeared on the same trip with Vaughn, Allison's business manager. While there doesn't seem to be any way it could be related to Allison and her business, it did happen on their watch and it will cause trouble for Vaughn if they aren't found. One is a 60 year old Italian wine heiress and the other, an 18 year old rising pop star with seemingly nothing in common.

Allison, Vaughn and Mia, Allison's ex mother-in-law get begin trying to find these two women and the path just gets more murky and dangerous as they go. There are dark family secrets, mob connections, mysterious private detectives and connections back to Italy. I was sure I knew what was going on several different times but then was proven wrong. It's not an over-difficult mystery but it does have twists and turns along the way. I enjoyed the plot and the characters very much. The relationships between the main group of characters is one of the biggest strengths of this series so far. I really can feel the bonds between them. This is one of those books I looked forward to getting back to every time I had to set it down.

My only reason for not giving it the full five stars is that you do have to suspend disbelief a number of times. As with most stories about amateur sleuths, I never can figure out why people answer their questions. I wouldn't. If a random person shows up at my door telling me they are investigating a disappearance, I'm not letting them in my house. I'm shutting the door and calling the police. It's also hard to image a professional at the level Allison is shown to be could just take off from her business from days at a time to investigate these disappearances, much less be willing to spend all the money she spent on rental cars, hotels and new clothes. All that said, I still loved the story.

Interesting mystery, strong women, good inter-personal dynamics, just suspend your disbelief and enjoy the story. I've already started on the third one.

When I first started this book I was wondering if I would really like it. It started off in a remote mansion house of a lady named Francesca who was pretty much a hermit her entire life. Now she had to assume responsibility of a wine making empire that her ailing husband had been running. So, she hired Alison Campbell, an image consultant, to help her get up to speed on the ins and outs of being in charge after being a classic introvert for her entire life. Alison was supposed to show her how to dress, act and whatever else she needed. She probably also needed counseling to make her the best CEO she could be. I was close to closing the book on this story because it seemed no action was happening. The introduction of a young gal, a wanna be pop star, was curious. And then suddenly, out of no where, there were two kidnappings at the same time implicating her pal, Vaughn. It was then I was certain this was going to be a true joy ride. I breathed a sigh of relief and said a silent "yay" when the kidnappings happened.

I felt a little let down because the author didn't go too much into the character of Dom. They did pretty much set Alex, smarmy son of Francesca's brother, out there as a suspect from the beginning. I felt so bad for Vaughn, he had pretty much dropped off the pop star gal at her house and then went to get Francesca who almost immediately went missing at a truck stop where they stopped for a potty break. That made Vaughn suspect number one in the eyes of the police.

The beginning intro part went on for a little longer than I would like. I nearly nodded off and abandoned the book. But I am glad I stuck with it. Because when the action started, it never ended. I am definitely going to check out the first book in this series. Because as is true for me, I read book two before book one. I never got to see Alison do what she claims to do, image consulting. She spends the entire story being an armchair detective. And I hope book one really gets into the world Alison has built around her. I was missing that in this book.

I received an ARC unproofed copy of this book via Net Galley.

From the book summary that I received, I was under the impression that impeccably groomed Allison Campbell was a female detective. In fact, she is an image consultant! I thought that was a pretty interesting job to have, especially when it involves the occasional crime fighting on the side!

I found the mystery that unravelled in Deadly Assets to be fascinating; I was drawn into the complicated webs woven between the characters and didn’t know who the bad guys were and what their motives were until the very end. I consider that the mark of a successful crime novel!

I’ll admit that I didn’t feel a huge connection to the characters; perhaps it was because this was the second book in the series and Tyson didn’t waste words giving much backstory, which meant I may have missed some of the nuances in a few of the relationships. I felt Allison was a bit stiff (and had lots of unexplained headaches), but that could of been a part of her persona as image consultant. Overall, I appreciated the mystery more than the characters themselves.

Earlier this year, I read and reviewed another mystery by Tyson, called The Seduction of Miriam Cross (A Delilah Powers Mystery). The mystery was equally riveting, if not more so, and I found the characters a little more interesting. I think I preferred that book over this one, but would happily pick up the next book in either series! I’d be quite interested to see how Tyson develops her characters in subsequent books.

My Husband and I were given the privilege of reading the unedited preview edition of Deadly Assets by Wendy Tyson. This is book 2 of the Allison Campbell series, with Killer Image being the first book. This book is a FANTASTIC read, even better (if possible) than her first book, Killer Image. There are so many twists and turns that you cannot guess how it will end. With an eclectic cast of characters including Allison, the Mainline Image Consultant, amateur detective, Vaughn, her partner and friend, Mia, her former boss and mother-in-law and Jason, her former husband and now boyfriend again and Vaughn"s handicapped twin brother Jamie. Together they try to solve the mysteries of the disappearances on the same day of an eighteen year old girl named Tammy "Swallow" Edwards from Scranton, PA and Francesca Benini (Benini Enterprises) from Finger Lake Estates in Ithaca, N.Y. The last one to see them both was Vaughn. To solve the mysteries of these two disappearances involves complicated secrets, corporate cover-ups, tangled webs of conspiracies, and more. This is a deadly venture for all of them and the closer they get to the truth the more dangerous it becomes. This is a non-stop must read for all. We are thankful to Wendy for the privilege of an advance copy to view it in advance.

“Deadly Assets” is the second book in the Allison Campbell Mystery series by Wendy Tyson. The first book, “Killer Image,” blew me away. I named it to my “Best mystery books for book clubs 2014” list. I also listed Wendy Tyson as an author who deserves a greater readership. So expectations were high for the second book in the series. The second book met those expectations.

In the story Allison is working with two very different clients. Francesca is a reclusive Italian heiress from the Finger Lakes with little business experience. She needs help to take over the four hundred million dollar empire left by the death of her brother. Tammy is the eighteen year old contestant on “America’s Next Pop Star” with an incredible voice and no stage presence. They both disappear on the same day with Allison’s associate, Vaughn, being the last to see them. Allison becomes involved to figure out what happened, save Vaughn and her business. The result is a tightly woven mystery which is as Allison states in the book, “About family heartache. About the lengths one would go to hide a loved one from pain-and accountability.”

As with the first book, the strength of the book is the psychological drama and relationships. “Deadly Assets” focuses on the power of the mother child bond.

Deadly Assets is the second book in the Allison Campbell Mystery series. It is a very well written and professionally edited mystery novel with a touch of romance.

Once again Allison Campbell, image consultant, becomes involved in solving a mystery in order to save her assistant from prosecution and her business' reputation. Two of her clients have gone missing at the same time. As she becomes involved in seeking the truth about their disappearances she finds herself involved in murders, family drama and the Russian mafia.

Wendy Tyson's mysteries have a definite Gothic feel about them. These books are not light hearted reading, but tackle some of the darkness that can surround families, business and the justice system. This mystery had me guessing up until the end.

My one complaint is that the romances between the heroine and her ex husband, and the one between her mother in law and her assistant, don't ring true to me. There is a definite coldness in the writing about these relationships.

Deadly Assets can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend that you read the series in order to fully understand this book's nuances.

This is the second book in the Allison Campbell Mystery series--I would recommend reading the first book before this one, although it is not completely necessary to do so.

Allison Campbell is a image consultant working for the rich and influential on The Main Line, a wealthy Philadelphia suburb. Two new jobs for Alison and her assistant Vaughn seem very different--Francesca, a wealthy older Italian shut-in who wants to take over the family company after her brother's stroke, and Tammy "Swallow" Edwards--a socially awkward 18 year-old who is poised to enter an American Idol-like singing show and become a pop star (although she wants to sing Opera). When both clients disappear, after being driven by Vaughn, Alison and team need to find out what happened and if there is a connection in order to protect Vaughn, the company and her clients.

I liked this one--it further builds on the characters--Vaughn and his quadriplegic brother, Jason, Allison's ex-husband and current romantic interest, Mia--Jason's mother and Allison's mentor (& Vaughn's love interest), and it kept the suspense building. Looking forward to the next in the series.

I'm lucky in that I got to read this book before anyone else. And all I can say is WOW! As much as I loved KILLER IMAGE, DEADLY ASSETS offers so much more. Wendy Tyson delves deeper into the makings of the unlikely heroine and amateur private eye, Allison Campbell. Not only do we get to know Allison more, we really get to know Vaughn, Mia, and the rest of the cast of characters that Wendy creates in order to deliver a rich and moving story. But don't let the in-depth character development fool you, this is a fast-paced thriller that will have you flipping (or clicking for you e-readers) pages anxious to see what happens next. I read it on my computer and just couldn't stop after one (ok 20) chapter. I found myself deeply invested in the problems, families and lives of both victims. I won't spoil anything here, but I was utterly surprised by quite a few developments. And I'm hard to surprise as I'm an avid fan of thrillers/mysteries. Wendy Tyson has done the near impossible: created a sophomore effort that exceeds and already fantastic debut.

Deadly Assets by Wendy Tyson is an outstanding 5-star addition to the Allison Campbell Mystery series, delivering everything thriller fans crave: edge-of-your-seat suspense, layered intrigue, and a heroine who’s as sharp as she is resilient.
Allison Campbell shines as a savvy image consultant turned reluctant investigator, navigating a web of family secrets, corporate scandals, and personal demons with intelligence and grit. The plot weaves vivid descriptions with thrilling twists, creating a tense, engrossing tale that’s dark, edgy, and impossible to predict. Tyson excels at grounding her mysteries in real-life plausibility while ramping up the stakes, making every revelation feel earned and impactful. Whether you’re new to the series or a returning fan, Deadly Assets stands strong on its own, promising more satisfying installments ahead. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I read the first in the series, which I bought since I won this through Goodreads. I love Ms. Tyson's writing style. She adds a little humor, a lot of suspense and characters that you will fall in love with. Her writing allows you to get absorbed into the characters and live the story first hand. Will purchase next book in series, to continue the saga of Allison Campbell.

This mystery was preposterous and convoluted. The characters were cold and rather shallow, as in the previous book. The author started out by throwing around names of designer clothing and later switched to Target clothing. Is there no middle ground, where the rest of us shop?

Tyson weaves together a nice little mystery with enough twists to keep the reader interested and involved. The protagonist feels a little flat in some areas, but mostly it is easy to connect to her straightforward manner and overwhelming tenacious curiosity.

Allison Campbell is an Image Consultant: That is, she teaches people how to better present themselves to the world, and this includes not only the outside trappings, but also the inside. She has received a telephone call from Francesca Benini, who needs her help: Francesca's brother Paolo is dying, and she intends to take over the family business. The only problem is that Francesca has not left her home for almost forty years. After meeting with Francesca, it is determined that she will leave her home and come to the city for her lessons.

On top of that, the latest client in her office is Tammy Edwards. Tammy is a singer, poised to be on a television show, America's Next Pop Star. The problem is - according to Tammy's manager, Denise Carr, and apparent to Allison - Tammy won't talk. She won't do anything. Denise leaves Tammy in Allison's hands, where she will be for a week to see if Allison can break through the surface. Between these two, Allison will definitely have her hands full.

But something happens: Allison sends her employee, Vaughn, to drop Tammy off at her home and pick up Francesca and bring her back to the city. So he drops Tammy off at her apparently empty home, and heads back to the city with Francesca, with only a quick stop for a bathroom break...where Francesca disappears...and so does Tammy.

Panicked, Vaughn discovers that he was the last one to have seen both Tammy and Francesca. Allison, knowing the terrible past of her employee, vows to find both women before something terrible happens to either of them.

This book has more twists and turns than a roller coaster. What starts out as a simple missing persons case turns into something darker and more sinister than either of them could have imagined. And when Allison's ex-mother-in-law, Mia, decides to help on her own, things become even more tangled than anyone could have thought. Little does Allison know that the more she probes into these cases, the more she discovers that they are tied into the life (and death) of Paolo's late wife, Gina. While trying to discover the truth about the circumstances surrounding Gina's death, Allison is figuring out that she may be close to something more sinister than she ever would have believed.

It is sharp, intense, and immensely pleasing to read. The story melds together all the pieces beautifully and keeps you interested. The clues aren't that easy to deciper (at least not right away), and when you realize that what has happened to both Tammy and Francesca are tied together, it is woven in such a way to be believable.

A highly enjoyable and satisfying read; highly recommended.

Allison Campbell's two newest clients have one thing in common, both disappeared following spending time with Vaughn, Allison's Partner in First Impressions. Allison has just spent time with 60 year old Binimi heiress, Francesca Binimi and her family over dinner. It was not hard to see no one wanted Francesca to take over leadership of Binimi Enterprises. Trying to bring 18 year old rising pop-star Tammy Edwards out of her shell was hard work. Did they walk away on their own or did someone take them? Were they taken by the same person? If so what was the common thread? When police look to Vaughn as their prime suspect Allison, Vaughn and Mia (Allison's former mother-in-law) investigate to prove her innocence and to find out the truth of what happened to the two women. The closer they get to answers it seems the more danger surrounds them and those they care for. If Allison is not careful she could be the next one to disappear.

Wendy Tyson writes a lively, fast paced story with interesting and likable characters that pulls you in and keeps you glued to your seat as you try to follow the clues to figure out what happened and why. Clues and revealed information is provided to point you to the answers as well as a few false leads to keep it from being too easy. Pick up Deadly Assets for a promise of an afternoon of reading pleasure.

Deadly Assets is the second book in the Allison Campbell mystery series and follows Allison, who is an image consultant, as she seeks to find the connection between the mysterious disappearances of two of her recent clients.
The first client is a elderly Italian heiress who has spent the last forty years completely housebound in her home in the Finger Lakes of upstate New York. The other is an eighteen year old pop star from Pennsylvania.
Both ladies go missing shortly after hiring and meeting with Allison, leaving her to believe it's too coincidental to NOT be connected, or are they? Despite feeling threatened by the families, Allison knows there has to be something or someone in common to both clients and it's up to her and her consultant team to figure it out before they become the next to mysteriously disappear.

While the first book of this series, Killer Image, is definitely worth reading (and I recommend it for your pleasure) I don't feel it is totally necessary to read it to find this book equally interesting and enjoyable. Since only a handful of the main characters carry over from the first book, I feel Deadly Assets could very well be read as a stand alone.

Deadly Assets marks the third book I've read by author Wendy Tyson. Happily, I have been thoroughly pleased with all three. Wendy is extremely skillful in luring the reader into the story, making us care for the characters and giving us snippets of insight and clues along the way, but still managing to leave some surprises for the reveal at the end. She has easily become one of those authors who I would eagerly jump to read.

I received this signed, ARC edition of Deadly Assets to read directly from the author in exchange for my honest review. I am thrilled and honored to have been able to do so. Thank you Wendy and best of luck to you in all that you write.
