Hope Saxton had it all. Her own business with her best friend, Libby, her wonderful husband, Charlie was everything she could’ve dreamed of and her sweet baby son, Sawyer was the light of her life. There was nothing more that she could’ve asked for. Until one night her world was tragically turned upside down, in the blink of an eye, everything was taken away from her along with something else; her sight. Not having anything to live for, Hope has turned her back on her family and friends and given up on life. Hopeless. Therapist Oliver Sheldon has been ordered to help rehabilitate a blind Hope so that she is able to reconnect with the real world. This is going to be a challenge as Hope Saxton has no desire to do anything but wither away and die. Not willing to give in, she fights him tooth and nail to not give up living in the memories of her former life. Oliver becomes determined to heal Hope with everything that is within him and along the way, he finds not only does he care about this woman’s future but that he wants to become a part of it. Can Hope open her eyes to something more than darkness and envision the hope she has been desperately wanting to reconnect with or will she be destined to wither away unhappy and hopeless?
"Those who truly know me can attest that I am obsessed with chocolate peanut butter anything. I write about hot, alpha men and the women who love them and the only way that I can get anything accomplished is in a crisis. I am no good in math; as a matter of fact, I suck in math. My true love is the English language. My children are my world that not even a hot man could come between. I am originally from outside Tampa, Florida but currently reside outside Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am digging the farm animals that live behind my house. I am the author of "The Personal Series" The first book being "Personal Experiences" Check it out on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo and Smashwords"
Tracy lives with her husband and 4 children in a small town just outside Tulsa, Ok. Originally from Brandon, Florida she was a city girl at heart. Wanting a change of scenery, she packed her kids up and moved to Oklahoma where now she’s seen snow, touched farm animals and has cows in her back yard. Being a stay at home mom, an avid reader and part-time blogger; she decided to put the three of them together and try her hand at writing and fell in love. In between running kids from band practice to PTO meetings, she enjoys her “me time” working on a little bit of her next book. She thoroughly enjoys head-banging heavy metal and a kickass game of Black Ops. Be sure to add her to keep updated on her upcoming books.
For a short book this one really packs a punch! I enjoyed the chapters going back and forth between characters. The detail and change in Hope after the accident was what kept me reading. How Tracey wrote from the perspective of someone who’s blind. Coming up with the idea of the music/noise and reason behind it. So many details that helped connect the reader to the character. A well thought out and executed novel, evoking emotion and making me appreciate my own sight! Thank you Voracious Readers Only for the complimentary copy.

I received a Complimentary Copy of this book from Voracious Readers Only. This book is very touching and I was crying. The well written words just hit my heart. Great book!!
This is an amazing look into how we can lose ourselves. Hope loses sense of all that she is and all that matters when she loses the most important things in her world. Only through some strength and love does she finally regain some of the ground she has lost.
Wow, first off I will start by saying that I am a huge Tracy Lee fan, she never lets me down so when I was offered a copy of Envisioning Hope I jumped right on it. I never looked up the book, I never researched it, I didn't even read the blurb. I just dove in.....
Very early in this book a tragedy strikes, it's huge and it seriously knocked the wind out of me. My heart totally shattered. I had to step away for a few minutes just to get my head together. Hope gets hit hard with devastation and just wants to be left in her own self pity.
Imagine having the perfect life. The perfect husband, a beautiful baby boy, and basically the life that people dream of. Then one day, one night, it is all stripped away from you. You wake up in a hospital but you can't see. You beg the doctors to let you see your family and you beg them to turn on the lights. One problem is, the lights are already on and your family is dead. This book took me on a ride of emotions. Seeing Hope struggle her inner demons that haunt her daily. Seeing her give up. Until she meets Ollie. He comes in her life as a therapist. He takes all that she gives. He stays on her and doesn't care if he pushes too hard.
But what happens when lines get blurred? When feelings get involved? Can Ollie help Hope heal and move on from her tragic past?
This book was very raw and at times leaves your heart bleeding and Tracy does the unthinkable and turns a story of heartbreak into a story of HOPE. I give this book 4.5 heartwarming stars!!!
A short, interesting read about a woman named Hope that lost her husband and baby when they were hit by a semi truck at a red light. Hope not only lost her loved ones, but both her retinas were torn and lost her eyesight.
Months later she is still in the hospital trying desperately to cope in her dark world and deal with the deaths of those she loved the most (and having horrible nightmares from the crash). She has become mean, uncooperative and has successfully driven everyone away who tries to help her.
Ollie, a new occupational therapist,is assigned to her to try and get her to a point where she can at least leave the hospital and live at home. It is a fight tooth and nail. Hope doesn't want to exist at all and Ollie wants her to come alive again.
It was a great relationship that developed between the two. But, I found that I wanted to know more about it. Ollie's work with Hope lasted over a year but I felt that I only got a one day glance. There could have been so much more depth and understanding as these two reached
Are you looking for a short read with tons of emotion?? This book is for you!
I feel as though I am going through the mourning process. My heart has been ripped out and I've been left to start over. My sight was torn from me and everything I knew and loved is gone. My one true love and son were no longer alive and people filter through the room one at a time to tell me how to live again.
When Sheldon comes in he doesn't take my shit. He gives me ultimatums and eventually pulls me out of the haze I am tangled in. Love was lost, but now I believe I can love again.
Yes, that was me writing as the main female lead, but with every page I read the more consumed in the story I became. My heart strings were pulled and I emotionally felt tied to Hope.
This story is one that will remain with me for a long time. It is a story of hope and how even when you are trapped in the darkest of days, there is always a way out. The emotions and feelings you receive while reading are life changing!
One of the most emotional reads I have read in a while! Tears of sadness, anger, and then finally happiness and hope, I had them all reading this one. Hope has to face the toughest loss anyone could ever face, and in that she feels she lost everything worth living for. She pushes everyone away from her and faces the darkness alone. Ollie takes on the challenge of helping Hope. He has also faced loss in his life and he knows what it's like to be alone. But will Hope let Ollie in? Will she face letting go of the past and learn that there is always something worth living for? Can Ollie give her back the one thing she needs most...hope? I highly recommend this book. It shows you just how hard life can be but also shows you that even though you may face darkness there is always hope in every situation. Great Job!
I don't know if I can find the word to describe how this book made me feel...... let me start by saying I'm a huge Tracy Lee fan, her first two books are some of my favourites and two of the most heart wrenching book a I've ever read and Envisioning Hope was just as moving.
Tracy Lee has a way with words the pictures she paints with this book are tragically beautiful, you feel every emotion that Hope has and believe me Hope goes through more that one person should. Oliver is beautifully written too, sensitive yet determined helping Hope back from the brink to find a way to live again.
So once again Tracy had me feeling every emotion under the sun with this book, crying like a baby from 20% in and tears of joy towards the end. A fantastic book another gem from the writer, cant recommend this book more, but make sure you have tissues lots of tissues.
I am a huge fan of Tracy Lee and when she told me about the book, I was excited to say the least. When she finally sent me a copy, I stopped everything to read it. I wasn't disappointed and my kids did manage to eat. This book will push every emotion. You feel every emotions these characters go thru. Hope had the perfect life until tragedy happened. She had to restart her life again, all alone she thought until a certain therapist convinced her that she wasn't alone and she had people that cared about her. I cried Ugly tears through this book especially the last few chapters of the book. Not gonna lie, I lost it. It will rip your heart out especially if you have kids. This is seriously the best book Tracy has written to date and you will fall in love with Oliver! He 's the sweetest guy with a determined mind to teach Hope how to live again.
Envisioning Hope is one of the most emotional rides I've ever been on with a book. Talk about GREAT.!! Hope absolutely goes through the worst tragedy any one person could in a lifetime, with lasting effects on her physically as well. Dealing with this will prove to be the 2nd hardest thing she's ever to go through... With the help of some awesome people, family, friends, & one man in particular Hope learns to live life again. There's no way I would spoil this book for anyone, the ending is just to powerful. Be ready for an ugly cry, & for sure have chocolate, wine, & tissues handy!! Tracy Lee made this one for the record books, my favorite by far!
Tracy, You did a great job with this book. I just started it today and didn't put it down till I was finished. I felt so many emotions when i read this, I laughed and I cried. My heart broke for Hope. Hope had the perfect life and in a blink of an eye it was all gone. Hope lost her eye sight in the tragic accident that changed her and her life. Hope was in so much emotional pain that she turned her back on her family wanting nothing to do with them. Then along came Ollie..... Can he help Faith heal her emotional wounds or do they go to deep to heal? Can he help her find closure, have a chance at a happy life and a chance to find love again?
Warning: Prepare your hearts to be touched by this wonderful story.
More than the love story between Hope and Ollie, this is a story that centers around healing. In order to heal, pain must be dealt over and over again until it subsides. But, some pains can never subside at all and all we have to do is accept and live.
When you have everything you ever dreamed of and life is so perfect, how can you go on when it's all taken from you? How can you go on knowing that and having lost your sight on the process of losing your everything? It took time, but with the help of one Oliver Sheldon, Hope Saxton did it one painful step at a time and in the process out of no where they found something in each other that they thought they would never find again.
Wow what a heartfelt story. The author is an exception writer making you feel every emotion that the characters are going through. Terrific storyline. I will definitely read many more books by this author.
I loved this book so much! From the start it took me on an emotional roller coaster, what a great story. Tracy Lee really took me inside the mind of Hope and made me feel every emotion she was feeling. This book in my opinion is Movie worthy. Yet again I give five stars to Ms Lee
very bittersweet I felt like I was reading a nicholas sparks novel. You could feel her torment and all of the emotions that she went through, good and bad.
Better grab a box of tissues for this book along with a thermos full of coffee because you're not gonna put this book down once you start. Breathe taken
