2013 was a very difficult year for me for personal reasons. It taught me how fragile life is and how important it is to grab it with both hands and ride the hell out of it. So in 2014, I began my comeback with the Amazon #1 Bestselling Erotica/Romantic Erotica bestselling series, Rouge Passion. I also met many of my favourite authors and so many lovely readers at my first signing event in Edinburgh. I flipped Stu Reardon’s kilt! Happy days …
I have big plans for 2015. I’m signing at several more author events around the UK and I’m pouring my heart and soul into what I consider my best series yet - by far! omg I loved this book so much. its well written and I couldnt put it down. I loved the characters so much. I hope there is another book to come out soon. definitely worth reading xxxx

I was lucky enough to read the anthology of the series - this is a good thing because I become so impatient when having to wait for the next in a series of books. So, this was a long read for me but about right considering it was four novellas in one.
The first half of the book, for me, featured a lot of BDSM elements that seemed to be too alike other BDSM themed books I have read. It urked me to begin with but after thinking about it I realised that there aren't many other way to write a book that featured a Dom/Sub relationship. They all have the same content in different words so after this revelation, I enjoyed reading about Issy and Lucas that much more.
The underlining story was amazing. I loved the twists, turns and all of the characters we were introduced to. The guys in the band; Issy's roomate, Lucas' right hand men - all amazing in their own way.
I didn't feel that the story dragged or wasn't continuous in any way, the books effortlessly seamed together into the anthology - so much so I have no clue where one book ended and another began! I can imagine some of the endings being a bit cliffhanger-y (another reason why I'm glad I read them all in one go - HATE cliffies!)
This book - upon reading the synopsis - I thought was trying to appease fans of every sub genre of contemporary romance. How wrong I was? We have the enigmatic yet reclusive billionaire who is/was a dominant and lives for control in all aspects of his life and has a very troubled history; we have the fiercely independent yet broken heroine who has her own troubles in the past to get over; we have the hilarious and in-your-face best friend; we have the rock band; the intriguing exes; the deceiving family members and so much more wrapped up in one book with a big bow. It all worked though. You got backstory without too much detail, you got their personalities and traits shining through and you felt the story progressed!
I got angry, I cried, I laughed and damn well pouted when I got to the end. I love a good epilogue and I bloody adore a HEA and even though, yes, I got them - I WANT MOOOORRRRE! That ending, mini Dakota, the apartment, just the ending in general made me melt in a big old gooey puddle of mush.

To say I enjoyed this book would be a serious understatement it was absolutely fantastic.
The storyline was brilliant and kept me guessing what would happen next and who did what
The characters were engaging and drew me further into the story and I do believe I'm going to have withdrawal symptoms from both Lucas and Issy and would love to read more.

I was very lucky when I was chosen to read Orion The Hunter by J D Chase, a 4 book anthology!!
Issy Price, a talented interior designer, is starting up a new job. She will be her own boss, not having to answer to anyone! Then she meets Lucus Hunter. Sexy, mysterious and extremely success, he seems like a dream. Issy is determined to live by her own rules, and Lucas is determined to have Issy anyway he can. I enjoyed J D Chase's writing. There was humor, emotion, severe sexuality and suspense! I really liked Issy's thoughts to herself...some of them were very entertaining!
The idea of reading another book about BDSM, had me worried. Once you've read one, you've read them all. This was not the case!!! J D Chase showed us the positivity in BDSM. She showed us it was ok to educate yourself about this lifestyle and to give it a try.
I thoroughly enjoyed this collection! I would love to see more about the characters!!

If you're looking for a book that gives you romance and a bit of smut this book is perfect for you. Issy is your beautiful feisty and 'I take no crap from men' kinda girl...and what a refreshing change that is in a female character. Now Lucas Hunter is your hot alpha male who has fallen head over heels in love with Issy. Of course there are problems along the way with jealousy and back stabbing from outsiders...did I mention Lucas was HOT!!! The only thing I would like more is a POV from Lucas Hunter....pretty please J D Chase xxx

Was recommend this book and so glad I read it.
This series is a heart warming story, contains lots of twists and betrayals.
Lucas Hunter is one hot alpha male who was in hiding, building his millions up, until Issy Prince caught his eye and brought him out into the open. Together the are on fire, helping each other face past demons, the sexual chemistry between them is amazing, contains some BDSM (mild).
I loved Issy's best friend Angel, and the band mates Chad, Ethan, Adam and not forgetting Travis who made me laugh out loud throughout the book.

Brilliant book, really well written with a great intriguing and emotional plot. Lucas Hunter is just PERFECT! He is alpha but also sensitive. Issy is inquisitive and eager to learn more about her sexuality and by no means a pushover! This book has it all, suspense, drama, intrigue and all lots of kinky sexiness. I loved the way Lucas and Issy come together and help heal each other.

This book lost me a bit about half way through when the main character behaves in a way that had me frowning while I was reading for quite a while. I enjoyed it to that point. There were parts where she just faints and that whole thing isn't really explained. Didn't find the writing that great I'm afraid. The best friend started to annoy me. Disappointed

OMG THIS BOOK HAS EVERYTHING ACTION, DRAMA, SUSPENSE, HEARTBREAK, BDSM AND MUCH MORE. I COULDN'T PUT THIS BOOK DOWN AND READ IT IN ONE SITTING. LUCAS IS ONE HOT LEADING MALE AND ISSY IS NO SHY LADY. BOTH HAVE THERE SHARE OF HEARTACHE AND I LOVED HOW THEY DEVELOPED AND HELPED EACH OTHER.
