A Little Bit Reckless

Rate this book
Beautiful.
Broken.
Boy.

Wells Ambrose thinks I’m evil, and I wish he was wrong. I ruined his life the summer I turned fifteen, and he hasn’t let me forget. Nearly everyone in our small town turned on me after that, which used to be a bad thing.

Until I decided I need Wells’s hate.

He’s failing college, and I’m the only one who can get him out of the backlash he receives from his parents. He needs me, and I need him to believe I’m that evil girl from years ago, because his hatred comes with attention and protection.

His protection.

Sweet.
Innocent.
Lovely.

Bruno Sloane-Mallick has always protected me from Wells, but he doesn’t know the truth. He doesn’t know I’m a bad person, willing to use Wells’s pain to my own advantage. To make matters worse, I’m falling for Bru, my brother’s best friend, and I have no business mistaking his kindness for something more.

He and Wells are close, and as I watch them, I’m curious how close that bond truly is. There’s a heat between them I recognize quite well. It’s a heat I’ve felt myself with Wells before I ruined him. He’s another one of my brother’s best friends, and the worst part is, I may ruin his life again.

Because I just kissed Bruno Sloane-Mallick.

Eden O’Neil never disappoints, and this book didn't either. At first, I was a little skeptical because I don't usually like MMF, but this was really well done, and it surprised me that I liked it so much. If another author wrote it, I might not have read it. However, since I love all the books and characters in this series, including their parents, and have read all the books in it, I couldn't resist reading the last one. I'm glad I did, because I love it.

Since the beginning of the series, I knew I needed a book with Wells and Bow, but it was a surprise to have Bruno in the mix. I think it works perfectly in the story. We learn a little more about Wells and why he was the way he was. In general, we get more inside on him and Bow than Bru, but we also have a lot of Bruno story and past in both Sloane and Ares books, so if you read the rest, you know why his character has grown more than the others till this point, but it was the balance that Wells and Bow needed to open up.

Like all her books, this one had a dark side, but I felt it was very well developed to explain why the characters were that way, but didn't stop them at the end or delay them been together. It wasn't as dark as the others, but it was good. I felt that some parts of Bow story needed a deeper dive, especially the last part, but it moves very quickly, and in general, it works well for the story.

This book is spicy and hot. I loved that we had a lot of that, but I also wanted a little more one-on-one time with Bruno and Bow, like Wells had with both of them. Overall, the chemistry among the three of them was terrific, and I love how supportive their friend group and family were with them. We didn't have a third-act breakup, so that was also a win for me and something else that I loved.

I'm sad that this is the last book in the series, and I stayed up all night reading it as soon as I received my ARC copy, because I couldn't put it down. However, this isn't something new with this author's books. They always have this effect on me. It is one of my favorite fictional book universes, and sometimes I find myself daydreaming with the characters. I hope we get something extra on all the characters in the future.

I really enjoyed this book. A little bit reckless pulled me in from the very first chapter and didn’t let go until the end. Eden O’Neill has a way of writing characters who feel raw and real and messy, complicated, and full of heart. I loved watching the heroine try to rebuild herself over the story while still holding on to her strength and pride.

The chemistry between the main characters was intense in the best way. Their connection felt earned, not rushed, and I appreciated how all three of them grew throughout the story. There’s a perfect balance of tension, emotion, and vulnerability that made their relationship feel genuine.

Even though this book is part of the Court Legacy series, I didn’t feel lost reading it as a standalone. The pacing was quick but engaging, and I liked how the emotional moments were balanced with lighter, romantic ones.

Overall, I’d describe A Little Bit Reckless as an emotional, addictive, and heartfelt read about second chances and learning to let go of who you used to be.

Did I stay up all night reading this??
Yes I did. Was it a good time?? Yes it was.
Do I need coffee?? Also, yes.

This was such a fun read. Honestly, All of Eden O'Neills books are. This one didn't disappoint. We get more background on why Wells hates Bow. I literally wanted to SHAKE him at times. Bow and Bru had so much patience with Wells and loved him so well.

I just wish there was more on the stalker and wished we could drag that out more.

Pros:
I loved how they loved Bow and protected her
The angst
Wells
Bru
The jealousy
The tension

Cons:
I wish Bow stuck up for herself a littleeeee more
More about this stalker/I really wanted a kidnapping scene or something 🤣
More Knight reactions haha

All in all, this book was a good time and I am sorry to say goodbye to these characters. Dorian and Sloane will always be my favorite but these 3 are chefs kiss as well.

Thank you Eden O'Neill for an ARC! I can't wait to read what you write next!!

A Little Bit Reckless is the 7th book in the Court Legacy series. This book is about Bow, Bruno, and Wells and is told from all three of their points of view.

Wells is good friends with Bow's sister. They both had a crush on each other, but something happened when she was 15, that caused him to hate her, and turn against her. Now, he is failing college, and Bow uses that to her advantage.

Bow is starting to get feelings towards Wells, but also towards Bruno who is her brother's best friend. Feelings are intermingles with Bruno and Wells as well.

What happens when they all spend time together? Can Bruno help Wells forgive Bow for what happened in the past? Can Bow get her happy ending with both of these guys? Or will she have to pick just one?

I devoured this book, and enjoyed every minute of it! I loved getting to know these characters, and to see them grow!

“A Little Bit Reckless” is the story of Bow, Bruno and Wells.

This is a beautifully written and sexy MMF romance between three young adults.

One broken heroine, one angry and one caring hero. The dynamics between the two men and between them and the heroine changed every chapter, and what we got was a very engaging plot which had both angst as well as heat. I was thoroughly engrossed in this book, and the sex scenes were HOT! I also loved how accepting every single secondary character was of their relationship, and that we got to see the main character (let’s be honest, it was Wells) deal with his demons. Also we had enemies to lovers, friends to lovers and forbidden love all in the same book!

Ma'am! You have outdone yourself! I finished this in under 24 hours! Not surprised as it's a book you wrote! With that, I've been waiting for this book for months, and I LOVED IT!
Bow needed a perfect relationship, and you gave her one! Wells and Bru? I loved the way you wrote them in all of the previous books, and you got both of them down to a T!
For your first MMF, you did such a fantastic job at keeping each of the characters separate in their identities. The plot was amazing, and that spice! Girl, it was so beautifully written! I hope you write more in this world, but I'm so glad you gave these three the story they deserved!

So I am going to start off by saying I love love this series. I have reread the books so many times. Whenever I need a pallet cleanser, court legacy is where I turn. It's been a wild ride, and i'm so excited for Bow, Bru, and Wells' story. That being said, as soon as the book hit my Kindle, i was diving right in.

I am having a hard time writing this review because I do not want to give anything away, but I will say this. I love being able to understand more about Rainbow, Bru, and Wells. And i am so very happy with their story. Eden O'Neill, you outdid yourself yet again!!!

Thank you.Thank you for sharing this court universe with us. I have loved the ride.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of “A Little Bit Reckless” the conclusion of Eden O’Neill’s Court Legacy series. I think I’ve aged out of bully romances but I was excited when I learned this one going to be “why choose.” And as expected the spice was spicing but the plot didn’t hook me.

I was waiting on pins and needles to find out what was the cause of the rift between Bow and Wells; as well as, the details behind Bow’s other secret. Honestly, I was little underwhelmed by the true reason behind the misplaced anger but I get it. It was an emotional response and it was easer than working through his own guilt other feelings. But I do wish we got to see more of their childhood bond especially through a lot of those tough moments. I absolutely loved the Archer moments!

Bru’s addition to the romantic portion of their story is one I’m on the fence about. I loved his previous character development but I wanted more of Bru’s pov in the story. We seem to get his perspective in relation to Wells more often than his interactions/feelings towards Bow - some of those moments almost felt like an afterthought.

And this is why I felt like this why choose was one that suffered from unbalanced relationship building. Unfortunately, it happens in some why choose/reverse harem books where one of the pairings is written with more connection /chemistry and I felt it here. The sexual and emotional tension between Wells and Bru was almost palpable - I could have read their story on its own. And the emotional tension and yearning Bru felt towards Bow was just as palpable when we got his pov. Bru’s emotions were written so well that I bought that Bru loved and wanted both of them; but that clarity didn’t translate to Bow’s feelings for Wells or honestly vice versa.

This is where things fell flat with me was the romance between Bow and Wells. Although, I felt like Wells had the best character development overall in the story. The switch between hate to love is where the pacing didn’t work for me. I could feel the angst from Wells and his fight to keep her in the “best friend’s sister” box. I really didn’t feel that emotional angst from Bow. I didn’t see the struggle with her feelings for him beyond wanting him to not hate her. I felt like she liked Bru more in the relationship sense but she really didn’t connect with Wells outside of the childhood feelings she’d felt towards him - physical attraction almost felt like it was the result of that tension. Honestly, I like her as a character but I didn’t really connect to her in her own story. She really wasn’t fleshed out beyond Thatcher’s sweet little sister.

And that leads me to the other plot point that seems to be a big deal at the start and is almost forgotten until the end of the book. I wish this issue had played more into the story, it was seemingly forgotten about for much of the middle portion and comes back for a couple chapters to create some third act drama and impetus to flesh out the relationship part of the story. I wish the issue had been utilized in a way that would have highlighted the character’s connection throughout the book - to heighten the drama from beyond the “will they won’t they”. It was a big deal for two seconds, they resolved it easily and then that’s it. A traumatic experience occurs and is dealt with almost completely off page. It was just unsatisfying from a reader’s perspective.

This was a quick and enjoyable read. But I think it’s a good ending to the Legacy series!

ARC READER

SLIGHT SPLOILERS:

Really enjoyed this. Eden just has a way with making me enjoy a bully/enemies romance. Love the differences between Bruno and Wells, the contrasts between them, one being soft and nerdy, the other hard and dominant.

I know it can be difficult dealing with trauma and how everyone deals with it differently, feel like it was really shown here with how Bow internalised it and how Wells deflected it in a sense towards Bow (even though it’s not a great coping technique).

Love the sibling energy the majority of the guys have together and how they all care so much about each other and their respective relationships, especially when they all came together at the end when finding out what happened to Bow.

I love how Eden discussed SA and how maybe someone who has gone through might think and how that can lead to depression and isolation. While it was difficult to get through in the sense that it can happen to anyone and maybe they might not even know it’s happening, to know that there are people who are there for you and are willing to do anything to help like Bow did without judgement or pity.

I feel like Bow is a lot of us who are shy /introverted and don’t know how to read people when it comes to romantic feelings (except she has wayyyyyy better luck) , but also the overthinking of what the hell just happened.

Loved the sword fighting between Bru and Wells and I feel like there could’ve been even more, especially maybe hate sex or even Bru leading Wells and Bow. Also, I feel like the whole peeping tom thing just wasn’t discussed enough like not even a little humiliation to maybe start their romantic relationship, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Love the whole family aspect and parents respecting their children’s decisions but also holding them accountable as young adults.

So happy I got the privilege to be an ARC reader again for Eden. Can’t wait to read more and get to love even more characters and potentially the next generation of Legacy.

Oh my goodness! Eden had me all up in my feels with A Little But Reckless. A long highly anticipated release that wraps up the Court Legacy…well for now anyway!

Bow, Well’s & Bruno’s story was totally worth the wait.

We knew there was history & tension with Bow & Wells and we finally find out what it’s all about. When you throw in Bru the tension, chemistry & angst is off the charts between them all…can you say why choose?!

Thatchers little sister Bow has led a sheltered existence as the princess of the group - protected by all. However due to the issue between her & Well’s he spreads the word she is a manipulative lying beotch which made her a nobody you’d want to be associated with. He counted on no one getting close enough to touch her. What was his motive for this truly?! Unrequited love maybe? Bow is running scared from a stalker that will not leave her alone so she goes to the one person who can help - Wells. He needs help with tutoring because he is about to be cut off by Dad due to his devil may care attitude so they come to an agreement without him knowing the reason she needs him! And boy when he finds out - I didn’t see that plot twist AT ALL.

When you add in Bruno Sloane-Mallick, a tall, handsome, drink of water who has feelings for both Wells & Bow you have hot chemistry and tons of angst. Well’s fights the attraction even though he’s played around with male & female “F-buddies” and has no preference. He doesn’t think he’s good enough for either of them.

I laughed out loud, wanted to cry and was mad at times while reading. Eden hit all the feels and the way they all come together to take care of Bow in the end was spectacular. I didn’t want it to end but needed to know what happened. Eden has once again hit it out of the park with the world building and character development that makes you think you “know” these characters and “interact” with them every day. If you have not read any of the Court Legacy do yourself a favor and start it today! You will not be disappointed.I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I feel like this was a good ending to a great series! I have been obsessed with this world she created and the characters in it ever since her original series about their parents. It was nice being able to step back into their lives and see how things were through the eyes of their kids. I honestly wasnt expecting a relationship between Wells, Bow and Bru but I have to say I am not upset. They are perfect together and now I can't imagine it any other way.

One thing I was a little disappointed in and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the fact that we didn't get too much closure I felt like with Bru and Wells. Most of the book they were at odds, mostly on Wells end and we never got to see them really talk it out or make up in a sense. It was mostly focused on their relationship with Bow and using the guys to connect with her. I guess I would of loved more connection with the guys on their own instead of with Bow. By the end of the book everyone was happy, I just would of loved to see more of the healing process between Bru and Wells and their part of the relationship. I felt like that was just rushed over at times.

All in all I did love this book. We got to find out what happened all those years ago that made Wells and Bow act the way they did do each other throughout the entire series. Plus despite what was said earlier I did enjoy the relationship building between the three of them as a whole. They were truly made for eachother. I will say though, she had me in my feels with everything that happened with Bow in this book. Bow is just someone you want to protect. I also loved how she ended the book. I dont want to say too much as to ruin it but what she put at the end was truly a good way to end the entire series. I was thankful to receive an ARC and I can't wait to see what she writes next.

Well it's the end of another era as the next generation series with Legacy children finally comes to an end. And what an end it is. The final story focuses on Bow, Wells AND Bru and is the first book this amazing author has written anything other than m/f. From the moment we met, Bow and Wells there has always been this tension, is shipped them as a couple immediately even though Wells was not the nicest he was clearly in denial. The Legacy boys are so close, practically family that it was easy to see their love and loyalty towards each other.

Bru was the surprise to this coupling but from the second it was announced I was all in on this little threesome. Bow and Wells have had such a complicated past and I think if it wasn't for Bru things would have gotten nowhere, but he's in the best place mentally to go after EXACTLY what he wants, Wells and Bow. I do wish we had had a proper scene where they tell the intimidating Knight Reed and all the other parents about their unique coupling rather than a brief description afterwards. But maybe this incredible author might release a bonus seen? I want to know every detail that went down in the conversation between Knight Reed and the boys.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this read and I am so devastated to know that it has come to an end. I have loved all these characters from the second I found them, their parents, the next gen story ... will there be a next next gen? Probably not, there has to be a point where this world comes to an end 😭 but I just don't want to let them go. I love the characters, the spice, the connection, the love and loyalty between all these characters. I can't wait to see what happens next, what new avenues the author might explore, what new world we get introduced too. This was the most fantastic end to this world even if I desperately still want more and If you haven't taken a chance on this series, now it's completed ... again you most definitely should.

WHAT AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER RIDE WITH THIS ONE!!

This is an MMF romance with a ton of emotional growth & development of these characters. You follow Bru, Bow, & Wells who all have their own emotional issues to overcome as they look to a new future as a couple with the support of their families & friends.

If you want spicy MM/MF/MMF moments this one delivers!! There are a ton of deliciously naughty moments here but also a emotional turmoil that each character's face as this story unfolds especially between Bow & Wells. We will see an unfortunate incident causes catastrophic ramifications for them and how they finally begin to heal after all the past pain that Wells had caused Bow. We also see Bru navigate his own feelings and how he finds his ability to fall in love with not just one person but two. This story deep dives into so many emotional moments and insecurities for them to overcome. We also get a little bit of stalking from Bow's past that will play out in an unexpected way by the end. This story wasn't as dark as the rest of the series but it is filled with major issues and shows a lot of character growth from all the characters this time around. You can definitely read this one without having read the previous books in the series because the author makes sure you understand who and what has happened enough making it an easy to read storyline. I do recommend reading previous books to get the full dynamic though.

You can expect emotional moments, MM/MF/MMF vibes, character growth, struggles from a tragic past, high spice, and a HEA.

Overall: 5/☆☆☆☆☆
Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶

What can I say about A Little Bit Reckless other than wow! I do recommend that you read the Court Legacy series in order, as although this could technically be read as a standalone you are introduced to the main characters initially in the previous books, you will definitely have a better understanding of the different relationships and history between the characters in this book if you start at the beginning. Plus the entire series is one of my favourite series with bully romance vibes throughout.

A Little Bit Reckless is all about the somewhat dysfunctional relationship (initially) between Wells, Bow and Bru. They go through some pretty heavy experiences that force them to confront their feelings that have over the course of years grown into a deep all encompassing love for one another. Although they do initially fight against their feelings (particularly Wells), which means that there are some pretty hot and heavy enemies to lovers vibes throughout this book. Rainbow in particular has not had things easy and, as she is in need of protection she decides to lean in to the negative perception that Wells puts out about her despite the fact that it hurts her to do so. Bru, is definitely the glue or the bridge between Bow and Wells, as although it was obvious they had feelings for one another they were unable to get through due to their history. Loving Bru allows each of them to reflect and reconnect with one another without diminishing their feelings for him.

This is a hot and heavy book with plenty of passion, but it is also filled with angst, longing, mental health struggles and a very real danger. Can Wells and Bru keep Bow safe from the man who has decided that she belongs to him regardless of what she wants? Absolutely worth the read and it’s available from today on kindle unlimited.

A little bit reckless by Eden O’Neill

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

It’s no surprise that I love Eden O’Neill. The way the entire Court has me in a chokehold is unmatched. I was so excited for this book I had to make myself stop so I “had it for longer”. I was looking forward to seeing different sides of Wells, Bow and Bru, and we saw a lot of different sides in this book.
The way Eden writes I feel like I’m in the book with them and going through their anguish alongside of them. The layers of secrets, betrayals, self-loathing and love is embedded into the pages and it all unfolds deliciously. This book had me on edge the whole time not knowing what was going to happen.
Wells is so in his head and so deserving of love but he holds those at arms reach, until he has total control.
Bru thinks he knows excatly who he wants until someone else comes into focus, but he has so much love to give and is willing to.
Bow, sweet Rainbow is so alone and just wants to be seen, actually she needs to be seen and she is by a few.
I loved seeing the back and forth between these three as duos and then as a trio, it was so good to see them all come to terms with their love.
I also loved seeing the Legacy boys all come together for Bow and Sloane, I love that the boys of the court always work so good together to end trash.
I’m trying not to think about this being the last book but hopeully Eden keeps writing about the generations forever.

We always knew that Wells and Bow were meant for each other—that their story would eventually come full circle. What I didn’t expect was how perfectly Bru would fit into that equation. The dynamic between all three felt so natural, so right, that it’s hard to imagine their story any other way.

I absolutely loved finally understanding why Wells hated Bow so much—not just the surface-level reason the world saw, but the deeper, more emotional one. It’s tragic in a way, realizing how many years were wasted on anger when love was there all along. But honestly, I get it. Wells’ loyalty and love for Thatcher have always been some of his most admirable traits, and that bond was beautifully portrayed here.

And sweet, sweet Bow. How could anyone not love her? She’s consistently described as the best and kindest—the light in so many people’s darkness. She’s been through so much, yet continues to love and heal others. She deserved happiness, and I’m so glad she found it with Bru. Their journey together—confusing, tender, and real—was the perfect balance to Wells’ intensity.

This was truly a great ending to an epic series—not just this legacy arc, but the entire universe it belongs to. It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to these characters after growing with them for so long. I just want to know where their lives go next. But, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. And what an ending this was. 💛

So I haven't read all of the previous books in this series (they're on my TBR though) but I couldn't resist jumping into this as it was just what I wanted at the time. And it did not disappoint. You can definitely read this without having read all the previous series of books although knowing who the other characters are would probably help keep things straight a bit and make for an easier read. I think I'd read enough to have an understanding of the world and a couple of the parents and friend group so that was helpful.

Anyway, this had me hooked pretty quickly and then kept my attention throughout. I love the author's writing as I find it very easy to read and the characters are always interesting. I loved Wells in this and felt for him with how he'd been dealing with what happened in the past with Bow. As soon as we started to learn more about his nickname from that time it grabbed my heart... Bruno was relatively new to me but he was a great guy for both Wells and Bow. I just wish we'd had a bit more info about his background and what he'd dealt with previously. It was only ever mentioned by others so an explanation from his POV would've been more impactful and given his character a bit more depth I think.

I am definitely moving the other series up my TBR so I can work my way back up to this for a re-read. I'm interested to see how it reads when I likely have more backstory.

📚 ARC Review: A Little Bit Reckless by Eden O’Neill📚

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶🌶 - 🌶🌶🌶 (lower on the descriptive scale)

Eden O’Neill really said “let’s wreck your emotions one last time.” 🥀

As the final installment in the Court Legacies series, A Little Bit Reckless is a bittersweet goodbye — messy, beautiful, and absolutely addictive.

This story brings together everything I love about this world: the ache of forbidden feelings, the raw vulnerability of broken characters, and that perfect blend of love, chaos, and healing. The FMC is soft-spoken but quietly powerful and her dynamic with both love interests? Chef’s kiss.

Two things:
1. I will say I wish there was a teensy bit more with Bru and Bow — I just felt like I personally needed it, but the tension and chemistry between all 3 was there!
2. I do feel it was all resolved so fast and wish there was a bit more details to the situation with Bow. Nonetheless, I ate this book up and are sad its over.

🖤 If you’ve followed this series, prepare yourself. This finale ties everything together with the perfect balance of heartbreak, hope, and a little bit of recklessness.

P.s. be sure to join Edens newsletter or patreon to read a deleted chapter because it was the hottest scene 🥵

What an incredible finale! A Little Bit Reckless was everything I wanted for Bow, Wells and Bru: emotional, steamy, and so beautifully written. I have loved this entire series from the start, and this last book wrapped it all up perfectly while still giving me that signature Eden O’Neill chaos and heart I adore.
The dynamic between the three of them felt so natural and real. Each character brought something different to the relationship, and the balance between love, pain, and healing was stunning. I especially loved seeing more of Wells’ layers and finally understanding him beyond his anger and pride. Bow, as always, was the light everyone gravitates toward, and she truly deserved this ending. Bru was the missing piece neither of them realised they needed until he was there.
It was emotional without being overdone, spicy without losing depth, and such a satisfying end to a world I am genuinely going to miss. I have reread the Court Legacy series so many times, and this was the perfect goodbye, full of growth, redemption, and that aching love Eden writes so well.
I stayed up half the night finishing it because I simply could not stop reading. Eden O’Neill delivered once again. If this really is the end, it was the perfect one.

A Little Bit Reckless by Eden O’Neill

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

“The perfect, heart-squeezing finale to an unforgettable series!”

I absolutely adored A Little Bit Reckless! Eden O’Neill delivers such a perfect ending to this series—one that’s equal parts emotional, steamy, and full of the kind of character growth that makes you sigh with happiness when you turn the last page. It’s the kind of book that reminds you why you fell in love with these characters (and this world) in the first place.

From the very first chapter, I was hooked. The chemistry between the Bow, Wells and Bru? Off the charts. The banter? Sharp and addictive. And the emotional depth? So, so satisfying. You can feel how much love and care went into bringing these characters’ stories full circle, and it truly pays off. It’s heartfelt, spicy, and a little bit reckless—in all the best ways.

The tropes included within this story are:

🖤 MMF
🖤 Enemies to Lovers
🖤 Brothers Best Friend
🖤 College Romance
🖤 Why Choose

If you’ve followed this series from the start, you need this finale in your life. It ties everything together beautifully and leaves you fulfilled with the ending. Eden O’Neill wrapped this story up perfectly. I’m honestly sad it’s over—but so grateful for the ride.

Highly, highly recommend.

Eden O'Neill has done it again with "A Little Bit Reckless." I have been a fan of the entire triad of Court series and has anticipated Wells, Bow's, and Bru's stories for a few books now and I have one thing to say.... IT WAS WORTH IT!!!

The chemistry and history between Wells and Bow has been hinted at off and on in the Legacy series, just little vignette's that gave us a tease at what was to come. Goodness, what actually was to come and who!

Wells was pretty much a f-boy up until this point, guys? girls? both? It didn't matter. He wasn't serious about much but cooking and his friends. Bow was Thatcher's brainiac little sister treated like a precious thing. The Legacy boys made sure was sheltered and protected. Wells made sure she was a social pariah, no one was to touch her, until someone who shouldn't have, did. Inject the force that is Bru. Bruno Sloane-Mallick is tall, handsome, and is laser focused on what he wants....which is Wells...and Bow.

This book made me laugh, get choked up, and made my heart ache. I did not think that the finale in this series would put me in such a chokehold, but wow, did it. Eden has a way with her foreshadowing and creating characters that make you feel. If I could give this book 1k stars I would. 10/10 would recommend!!!

✨A Little Bit Reckless

If you love:

🔹Childhood Friends to Enemies to lovers
🔹College romance
🔹MMF
🔹Shy/smart FMC
🔹Older Brothers Best Friend
🔹Grumpy x Sunshine

This story follows our shy FMC, Rainbow “Bow” 🌈, and the two MMCs who completely wreck and heal her heart — Wells “Archer” 🎯 and Bruno “Bru” 🖤.

Although this book is part of an interconnected series, it stands beautifully on its own — I never once felt lost. This was my second read by Eden O’Neill, and she did not disappoint. The spice? On point. 🌶️ The twists? Wild. 🔥

I absolutely loved the complexity of Bow and Wells’ history — it gave their relationship so much emotional depth and realism. Bru was the perfect balance for the trio, grounding them in moments of chaos and heat. 💋

It was gut-wrenching to read about Bow’s trauma 😭, but I adored how both MMCs fought for her in their own way. And, of course, I’m always a sucker for morally grey men who take vengeance into their own hands for the women they love. 😈💞

Eden O’Neill knows how to craft broken characters, messy love, and unforgettable chemistry — and this one was no exception. Highly recommend! 💕📚

And the end of the Court Legacy is here. Eden O'Neil did it again and she gives us a book that surprised me.
I was sure that we will have Wells and Bow, but never have guessed she will add Bru to these two.
I didn't expect to be a MMF, but I can’t say I was disappointed.
In this book we have everything explained and now we can understand the tension between the characters from their past.
The book was good, well written, the characters very well described. It is a spicy book with scenes MM, MF, MMF and also has some events a little dark. But we are alteady used to that from the other books.
I wanted to know a little bit more about Bow's story with the professor, because the scene that happens near the end was not enough. And let me woth a lot of questions.
But in the end I enjoyed to read this book that we waited a year and half for it , and it did not disappoint me.
Maybe just sad to say goodbye to this series.

It was a pleasure to read all this books, the parents and the kids too.

Thank you Eden O'Neil for the opportunity to read the book in advance. This is my honest and only opinion.

This is the last book in the Court Legacy Series and it is about Bow, Wells and Bru's relationship.  This is not the direction I saw Bow's story going when first introduced to her character. There is definitely a darker side of this story, but nothing too extreme  Bow has always been so sweet and innocent, it just shows you may never truly know a person. Eden really wanted to draw out every emotion with this grand finale.

Bow is not only finding herself in this book but is also learning to stand up for herself.  This story has a lot of forgiveness and healing with the main characters.  Each character needs to step a little outside their comfort zone to find their happiness.  With the redemption comes the truth about their past.  So much doubt and hurt came from closing themselves off from one another.  They needed to learn to trust before they could have a real relationship.

I always love the Court Legacy Series and that is no different with this book. This wasn't just the final romance but it was a great epilogue to the whole series. I love that everyone got their happily ever after in the end of this book.

The only reason I read this book was because it was deliciously teased in the trilogy of this series. So I looked forward to reading Bow and Wells romance and I am sorely disappointed.

The story was a uber rich fantasy of ridiculous dialogues and where people easily accept things like three people in a relationship. Parents are super cool with the concept because again they were made up fantastical characters. The loose use of money and power was too preposterous.

Coming to the romance, this could have either been Wells & Bru or Bru & Bow. I absolutely disliked Wells here. I think Bru deserved his own story. He was probably the only likeable male character. The romance felt forced, the declaration of love came out of no where. The three main characters hardly spend time together in the first half and suddenly they all are in love. Wells just goes from hating Bow to being in love with her since childhood.

And the dialogues made me cringe. The repeated history lessons of relationships was unnecessary. But we keep getting that they are all brothers maybe a 100 times. This was a very difficult read.

I am giving 1 star for Bru because he was the only semi- realistic character.

Sexy, angsty, fun and some bit sadness mixed in one book. The book had me hooked from the first chapters and I enjoyed the book all the way through.

I usually don’t read books with a RH theme/more than two-person-relationship but this book made it work because they had so much love and respect for each other’s feelings and really brought out the best from everyone in the relationship.

One of the few minor cons with this book was that I wish Bow had a little more backbone and stood up for herself more, I think she really was stronger than she thought. But her self esteem was really low and even though she became more confident throughout the book I had hope that she would find her voice more, see her own worth more and to actually tell people to F off sometimes. 🥲
And Bru, wow, wished I’ve seen more of him, looooved him. 😇

Overall the book was a strong four star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ book and the ending was just perfect for the threesome. ✨
It was a good ending to this series and I’m looking forward to a next gen series. 💕

❣️Thank you so much Eden for the opportunity to read this book. 🌟

Review:
✨A Little Bit Reckless✨
Court Legacy #7

By Eden O’Neill

✨ College Romance
✨ MMF Romance
✨ Best Friend’s Sister

⭐ 5/5

Wells, feels undeserving of love
Bow, wants to be seen and loved
Bru, knows what he wants and feels

An emotional ending for this series

The last three of this group of friends and family give us an extraordinary ride.
In this story we have secrets, love and manipulation going on. Bow needs Wells’s help but he doesn’t want to be near Bow. Bru knows what he wants but not how to get it.
All three have their own secrets and hidden truths. And when it comes to the moment of truth it is heartbreaking and more.
Wells especially has lots of hidden feelings and secrets that make him feeling unworthy of being loved.
A long heartbreaking ride is ahead of those three characters. Sad moments, entertaining and spicy ones too.
And characters that have to go through the motions to accept and embrace their feelings and find their own way of happiness.

⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 read
🌶🌶1/2 spice
MMF
Best friend brother/sister troupe
Enemies to loves
Found family
College romance

I really struggled with this book. I found myself needing alot of breaks. I found that the story lagged in places and didnt have an intensity that normally comes with dark romance. It had small moments but then seemed to stop or circle around the same thing for multiple pages. I expected more angst given the troupes. This is my favourite part of these troupes and there were moments like the dancing and pool scene but these seemed to end abruptly.
The spice was ok.
I really struggled to find a connection with this book, however others may love it. This is just my opinion.

I do love how Well's opened up especially in the pool scene to have him so valuable and raw was perfect.

I feel Bru's story needed more though, and I felt Bow's needed more growth and explanation for what she had gone through. There was some but not enough.

I think overall it just needed to be alittle more darker given its general nature. It needed more angst.

Well, Eden you saved the best for last with A Little Bit Reckless! Wells, Bruno and Bow’s story was absolute perfection. A Little Bit Reckless by Eden O’Neill is the last book in The Court Legacy Series. This can be read as a stand alone but may include spoilers from other couples in the previous books.

I loved the different personalities between our trio, especially Bru and Wells. Wells is our dark, brooding MMC while Bru is softer. Bow is our beaten down and wounded FMC. I feel like their differences is what made them such a perfect fit for each other. There was suspense and some drama (when isn’t there drama with these characters and their parents!) and the spice was so hot. Speaking of the parents, it was great to see them again in this read…(if you haven’t read their stories check them out too and see where the Legacy begins). Although I’m sad to see this series end, A Little Bit Reckless was the perfect good bye.

Thank you to Eden O’Neill and Candi Kane PR for the ARC of this book.
