Bound to the Orc Warrior

Rate this book
My new witch powers tether me to the grumpy orc. I can’t get more than twenty feet away from him!

When I storm out of my ex’s engagement party, a meddling goddess whisks me away to Faerie and marries me to a massive grump of an orc. As if that’s not enough, I can’t leave his side without my teleportation magic throwing me straight back into his arms!

I dreamed of leaving my small town and traveling, but I never imagined anything like this. I feel like I landed in one of the books I love, with fated mates and close proximity dialed up to eleven. Wranth’s gorgeously muscled body and exciting air of warrior prowess sure don’t hurt any either.

Then there’s his swoon-worthy vow to protect me. I’m supposed to reopen the doors of Faerie and return magic to Earth—if enemies don’t stop me first. It’ll also break the tether and allow me to go home to friends and family. But the longer I’m with Wranth, the harder it is to picture life without him…

Bound to the Orc Warrior is a steamy fantasy monster romance featuring a grumpy primal orc who longs for love and a sunshiny witch eager to find her place in the world. Welcome to the Moon Blade Clan, where heart-melting romance, toe-curling steam, magic, and adventure combine into stories you’ll devour.

Wranth & Naomi’s Story

This book was a lovely, comforting read—perfect for when you want to shut your brain off and just vibe with a cozy fantasy romance. While I enjoyed the story, I have to admit it wasn’t particularly memorable. It warmed my heart, but I don’t think I’ll be carrying it with me for long.

Wranth, our orc lead, had potential, but his constant self-moping got old. I get it—he thought he was abandoned, and that’s a rough emotional wound to carry. But the book really wanted to remind us of it at every turn, making him come across less like a brooding warrior and more like a bratty teenager sulking in his room. At some point, I just wanted to shake him and say, Move on, my guy!

Naomi was… fine. And I don’t mean that in a bad way, just that she didn’t really stand out. She had no glaring flaws, but she also didn’t leave much of an impression. She was just there, fulfilling her role without much fanfare.

The real MVP? Shadow. I’m a sucker for sarcastic, sardonic A-hole characters, and if you make one a cat? Sold. He easily stole the show for me, and honestly, I wouldn’t mind an entire book from his perspective.

Would I recommend this book? Absolutely, with the right expectations. If you’re looking for something light, cozy, and easy to digest—something to make you smile without demanding too much emotional investment—this is a solid pick. But if you want a deeply moving or unforgettable fantasy romance, this might not leave a lasting impression.

Naomi was all sunshine and knew her self worth, even if her ex temporarily made her forget it. She rolled with the punches and embraced the changes thrust upon her while staying loyal to her home and family. Wranth was all grumpy and insecure, but had a fiercely protective streak. He was a good protector for Naomi without clipping her wings and loved her for who she was. Their romance was fast paced and set in an intense central plot. I liked Shadow and reaaalllllyyyyy want him to have a book too.

Spice: 4/5

Triggers: orphaned MC, toxic ex, animal-ish attack, violence and battle, feelings of isolation, parent with cancer in remission, discussion of death of parents

✨Early Review✨

Y’all. I’m convinced that Krista Luna is one of the most under-appreciated authors out there. I eat these books UP!! This book in particular was a little different in the sense that I felt like it changed something that’ll make any remaining books EXTRA interesting (in a good way.)

Naomi was such a fun and strong heroine, being in her head was very relaxing. Her drive for adventure and experiences is very relatable. I also loved how sure of herself she was. Her and Wranth’s relationship did something for my soul. They’re just perfect.

The animal characters in these books never miss. Such sweet and funny interactions ALWAYS. I don’t want to give the entire book away, but if you haven’t read this series yet and you enjoy fantasy, pleeeease read them 😍

P.S. I’m honored that Naomi’s bestie shares my name 🥰

“I want to experience the things I read about. I want to travel and see new places and people. I want to eat different food and try to puzzle out a language I don't know. I want the world to not feel so... small.”

“Your love of life makes me want to join in, to fully feast on all the world has to offer as long as I can do it by your side. I am no longer alone. I am yours as you are mine.”

“‘You'll always be my little girl. The one who wanted to go camping and sleep without a tent so she could see the stars.’
‘I've seen so many stars, Dad,’ I whisper.’”

Wranth is a lonely warrior who just wants a family. Naomi is a big, beautiful woman with a heart to match. She can give Wranth everything he's ever wanted... If he can only get her to stay.

When Naomi drops into this new world, she's determined to get home as fast as humanly possible. She can't seem to get away from the mysterious green giant who pops into existence wherever she goes, but she begins to wonder if she really wants to.

Wranth doesn't understand why or how he's thrown into Naomi's path every time she slips away, but he's thankful that his bride can't get too far before they're flung together again. How else is he supposed to protect her?

These two are my favorites so far! Naomi is so open and loving, and Wranth just needed someone to stay. He'd give up everything for her if she asked and have very few regrets about it. He's so protective of her, but he also knows when to back down and let her make her own choices, which is so important. She helps him find out where he came from, and she pulls everything back together again.

While the slaugh did, of course, make their pesky appearances, this story had more to tell. I appreciated the space that we got from those dreadful things, and I loved that we see more of Faerie in this book.

Shadow is a glorious sass king and just as full of himself as I'd expect, which makes him hilarious and frustrating in equal measure. He is mostly frustrating to Wranth, who he quite enjoys teasing. I know we'll encounter even more fae in the next one, and I can't wait to see what sort of witch the Moon goddess has in store for the next orc on the list!

As it must be said... Of course there's spice to be found! The waterfall scene was so good. The chase? Yes, please, more of that. Oh, and Wranth's magical piercing has a little, shall we say, floral surprise in store. IYKYK! Happy reading!

*I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*

Naomi’s (h) life in small-town Ferndale Falls has always felt too small. She craves adventure, something more than running the family bookstore. When a mysterious artifact transports her to the magical realm of Alarria, she finds herself bound to Wranth (H), a brooding orc warrior with a fierce sense of duty and a hidden royal legacy. Thrown together by a prophecy neither of them fully understands, Naomi and Wranth have to navigate a world of dangerous fae, ancient magic, and untold secrets. Naomi’s rare abilities make her key to reopening the long-sealed doors of Faerie, but with each door she unlocks, the risks grow greater, and the tether binding her to Wranth tightens in unexpected ways. As enemies close in and the stakes rise, their reluctant partnership transforms into something deeper. Together, they’ll confront their fears, unravel Wranth’s tragic past, and fight for a future neither dared to dream about. Hot and steamy orc-human fantasy adventure romance, exploring love, loyalty, belonging, magic, danger, freedom, commitment, family, and transcending boundaries.

Another sweet entry in the Brides of the Moon Blade Clan series! The stories use pretty much the same foundational, fish out of water formula, but the different characters and unique tweaks made from book to book means things never get stale.

Wranth is a grumpy warrior orc who was abandoned by his parents and has no real family to speak of. Naomi is a curvy, independent woman who finds herself transported to the magical land of Alarria, ..and married to Wranth, thanks to the Moon Goddess.

With every book, I fall in love with the Orc MMC. Wranth and Naomi’s story was pretty emotional. I loved reading both his and Naomi’s thoughts throughout the story. Sometimes I laughed, sometimes I felt bad, and a few times I got teary eyed. I think it’s really sweet how the two characters really complete each other.

If you like fantasy/ monster romance with big, grumpy MMCs who turn into big cinnamon rolls for the FMC, some fun, spicy scenes, and a HEA then you will love this!

I liked it.

This is a cute story about an orc and human woman. It has spice, action, adventure, and lots of love.

I hope we can get a bonus or novella of Wranth and Naomi in Avalon building it back up.

*****Spoilers*****

Naomi is a small town girl with dreams to follow her path but those dreams were stymied when her mom became ill with cancer, so she stayed in the small town to work her parent's bookstore while her father took care of her mother. The book opens with her on her way to her ex-boyfriend's engagement party which she leaves fairly quickly. Not because she is still pining over her ex, but because she gives him a piece of her mind given his attitude and behavior toward her at the party. Once Naomi is out of there, she wishes for her great adventure where she's important while grabbing a crystal necklace given to her. The next thing we know, Naomi is transported to another realm and to her moon goddess blessed mate Wranth. In this new realm, Naomi discovers shortly after she arrives that by wishing it, Naomi can teleport. The teleportation is what Naomi discovers is her witchy power and later learns she's likely part fae.

Wranth is an orc, a wild fae being who the moon goddess guides by way of a bright light to where Naomi is deposited in his realm. Wranth is excited to have his mate to whom he can belong. He's the only orphaned orc in the entire realm and feels abandoned because low birth rates mean any fae child is cared for and appreciated. However, there were no unaccounted for births when he was born so Wranth feels abandoned. When he sees Naomi Wranth tries to use a language crystal to gift Naomi with the instant knowledge which will allow them to communicate but Naomi teleports away when she sees him and wishes to go "home". Only Naomi and Wranth have been mystically tethered together in addition to having a mate bond and the tether snatches Wranth with her. Several more "home" wishes later and Naomi finally gets back to Earth, Wranth along for each trip. However the stay in Earth is brief and Naomi is yanked back to Wranth's realm.

From there, Naomi and Wranth learn about one another, the other human/ witch/fae women that came similar to Naomi and their powers, that Naomi's teleportation ability is needed to open doors to other realms, and run into soul thieves who want Naomi because of her power. There are different revelations throughout, the one I found to be the most heartwarming was that Wranth and Naomi discover that he wasn't abandoned, instead his parents gave their all to save him and sent him to another realm via teleportation when their realm was overrun by a dark lord. I felt like the book was doing okay in the beginning and I loved Naomi's easygoing personality but after a while the story stagnates in terms of keeping my interest and I found myself impatient for the book to finish. There isn't much about orc or fae culture and I wondered while reading the book many times how Wranth developed so many human sounding internal dialogues, why there was very little or no curiosity from him or Naomi about their differences, and why Naomi jumped so far so fast into her teleportation power without waiting for more information, particularly when she burned herself out before. In the end, Naomi is able to open doors so that realms are connected, but the whole time I thought it wasn't well thought out (heretofore unknown beings can now go to earth and other realms, including the dark lord everyone is worried about). I started with a hmmm and ended with meh in terms of my enjoyment.

💚 “You are the missing piece of my heart, and I’m only whole with you.”
~~~
Naomi is so awesome! She’s strong, courageous and always willing to leap into the unknown to help others. Even more, Naomi is sassy, kind, supportive, compassionate and so fun. And I absolutely loved her confidence and sunshiny personality. She is quite the storyteller, too. Naomi is an amazing woman and I adored everything about her!
And then, there’s Wranth! This orc warrior is quite grumpy and snarly at first glance. Wranth has always felt like a bit of an outcast, being the only orc in the realm who doesn’t know anything about his parents or where he truly belongs. But there’s so much more to him than meets the eye. Because underneath his growly and fearsome facade is an incredibly thoughtful, caring, gentle, sweet, loyal and honorable male who ferociously fights for and protects the people he cares about. And his half-smile and deliciously primal side are quite swoon-worthy, too. Wranth is an incredible male and I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Naomi and Wranth! Spent her whole life in her hometown, even though content, Naomi craves more in life. And the Moon Goddess definitely delivers! So, Naomi not only does get the adventure of a lifetime, but she also gets her own gorgeous and devoted orc. I absolutely adored Naomi and Wranth together! Their chemistry was fantastic right from the start and I truly enjoyed their banters, the tension and the longing. And with Naomi’s newly discovered abilities, her quest to reopen the doors of Faerie and her determination to help Wranth discover more about his past, things get even more interesting. Even more, I loved how supportive, accepting and understanding those two were with each other. And the spice!!! Oh, the spice was absolutely spicing with those two! The passionate moments they shared were off-the-charts hot and I couldn’t get enough of all the naughty delight (pssst, there’s primal chase 🫠). Wranth and Naomi were absolutely perfect for each other and I absolutely adored them together!
In addition, the storyline was phenomenal! There’s still enemies in Alarria and who knows what else lurks in the shadows once the magical doors of Faerie are reopened… Fearsome orc warriors, badass human witches, grumpy unicorns, superior dragons, mischievous cat siths, loyal cu sith - all are ready to face the unknown dangers. And, also FAE KITTENS!!! With everything happening, I was glued to the pages till the very end, excited to see what will be discovered and how everything will be resolved.
Overall, the story is another absolutely remarkable addition to the series! It’s filled with adventure, suspense, danger, non-stop action, twists, humor, blazing hot passion and phenomenal characters.
I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every single page of it!
ARC Review
Bound to the Orc Warrior by Krista Luna is a captivating monster romance and the fifth installment in the Brides of the Moon Blade Clan series.
Naomi, who has spent her entire life in a small town dreaming of adventure, finally gets her wish—though not in the way she expected. She is teleported to Allaria, where she is discovered by an Orc warrior, Wranth. After a whirlwind of unexpected teleportations, Naomi learns she and Wranth are moon-bound by the Moon Goddess, making them husband and wife. This revelation initially shocks her, but her surprise turns to excitement when she discovers her unique ability to open doors to other realms. Before embracing this newfound power, however, she embarks on a journey to uncover Wranth's origins.
Wranth, an orphan who has always felt alone, finally finds happiness with Naomi. Together, they realize their dreams, forming a bond that is both heartfelt and inspiring.
This is a beautiful story filled with love and adventure. Unlike previous installments, this book focuses less on battles with enemies and more on thrilling discoveries. I particularly enjoyed exploring the other realms and seeing the various species come together to assist with Naomi and Wranth's journey. The characters were incredible, and the spice was definitely present. Naomi's strength and individuality were front and center, and Wranth's protective nature complemented rather than overshadowed her.
My favorite moment was when Wranth's lineage was finally revealed—it was both emotional and satisfying.
If you’re a fan of monster romance, Bound to the Orc Warrior is a must-read.
Krista Luna delivers another captivating fantasy romance in "Bound to the Orc Warrior", the fifth book in the Brides of the Moon Blade Clan series. This installment is an irresistible blend of magic, adventure, and sizzling chemistry, featuring a grumpy-orc-meets-sunshiny-witch romance that fans of the series will adore.
The story follows the headstrong witch Naomi who, after an unfortunate run-in with a meddling goddess, finds herself magically bound to Wranth, a brooding orc warrior. The forced proximity trope is taken to new heights with a magical tether that keeps them within arm’s reach—quite literally throwing her back into his arms if she tries to escape. The tension between them crackles from the start, fueled by Wranth’s primal protectiveness and the heroine’s determination to carve out her own destiny.
Their romance unfolds beautifully, with moments of passion, tenderness, and undeniable chemistry. The high-stakes mission to restore magic to Earth adds an exciting layer of intrigue, keeping the pace brisk and the tension high.
Luna’s worldbuilding continues to shine, immersing readers in the richly detailed realm of Faerie and the fierce, honor-bound Moon Blade Clan. Fans of the series will appreciate the ongoing lore and cameos from previous characters, while newcomers will have no trouble diving into the story.
If you love steamy monster romances with forced proximity, fated mates, and a warrior who would burn the world to protect his witch, "Bound to the Orc Warrior" is a must-read. It’s a delightful mix of fantasy, spice, and heart—perfect for fans of grumpy/sunshine pairings and epic love stories.
Naomi dreams of getting out of her small town and exploring the world. She gets her wish when she accidentally gets portaled to a new world and bound in matrimony to an orc warrior. Wranth has always fought for his place amongst his people as the only orphaned orc in Alarria. When the Moon Goddess brings him to Naomi, he finally sees his chance at happiness. Naomi's newly discovered power is teleportation, but she can't help but drag Wranth along with her every time. With her ability to rip the barrier between the worlds, this may be the chance everyone's been waiting for to reunite the realms and maybe find the answers Wranth's been searching for. But how can he keep Naomi tethered to him in Alarria when she has friends and family pulling her back to Earth?
Naomi was sassy and a bookworm to boot. Our girl realized she was in another world and immediately wanted to climb Wranth like a tree. The first romance girlie reaction of all the moonbound brides, let me just say. Wranth is willing to give up everything he has and knows to follow Naomi to Earth, but he's hesitant that she wants him to. She definitely does and proves it over and over. Their relationship was quick to ignite into a steady burn, and I love how they just kind of clicked together and didn't want to separate. Getting to see all the other characters from this series was fantastic, and I really like the direction this story is going in. Now, we just need a story featuring that dragon guy 😉
So much warm fuzzies.
This one is book 5 in the Brides of the Moon Blade Clan series. Wranth and Naomi were just gorgeous. Wranth is a warrior in the Kings Guard and is hard working and loyal. His unknown origins have left him with a shaken sense of self worth, so he works hard. Naomi is also hard working and loyal, and has worked hard to help her parents. She really had a beautiful belief in herself and was so sincere and open.
When she is pulled into a strange world to find that she has teleportation powers, she very quickly adjusts and works to make the best of things. When she is told she is now married to a hunk of an orc, she basically just says “thanks but I gotta get home to the folks.”
Both her and Wranth are so lovely and considerate of each other, despite his disappointment at her wanting to leave. Watching them work together on an adventure and mission to open doors to other realms, while getting to know and care for each other was really lovely. The other characters and fantasy creatures were a lot of fun. We still have those evil birds and kelpies trying to suck up everyone’s souls and steal magic all over the place, and now there is an added mystery with these doors getting opened and other realms coming into the mix.
Can’t wait to see what happens next.
While we know that the lovely Krista Luna would not leave her Orcs, or her wonderful leading ladies without a happy ending, this is something that Wranth didn't know. You knew that there was a chasm inside of him though, a deep need to feel connected, truly connected to someone. His dream comes true when he is given a moon bound bride and yet there is no guarantee that she will stay with him. I loved that even though his heart was breaking along the way he was determined not to force Naomi into making any decisions or choices regardless of how it might affect him. He has such a huge heart, is so honourable and caring that you cannot help but love him. Naomi is sucked through a portal while having a truly bad day but she doesn't project that onto others. She always wanted to travel, have adventures but was dedicated to her family so when her mum became ill everything was put on hold. She feels very torn by this as the more time she spends with Wranth the more she sees what a wonderful person he is, making her want to stay with him and yet she feels that family is calling her back. These two were a great pairing and you so wanted them to be happy together. The snarking from the entourage was just fantastic and added that extra bit of magic to it. I loved it.
Wranth and Naomi
Naomi always wanted to travel and have adventures. But, when her gets sick she puts it all on hold. Now her mom's better but she still has taken the leap to go until the Moon goddess does it for her. Taking her to Alarria to meet her new orc husband. Wranth, the only orc to be an orphan, gets blessed by the moon goddess with a moon bound bride. When he gets to her, she doesn't understand him and she some how take him back to earth with her. Yet they snap back to Alarria, they learn she can teleport. With this special magic, Naomi and Wranth are able to open the doors between realms.
Wranth is the most loyal, unselfish, caring, loving orc man. I think I fell in love with him myself. He tugged at my heart. Naomi is a bright and happy person that seem to roll with the flow. She strong and determined to help Wranth and the other fea on Alarria. This book has twist and turns, enemies that caused danger, lots of action and adventure, plenty of steamy, whimsical, and happily-ever-after. Very good romantic story.
remember how i said dravarr had some competition with sturrm? well wranth just made it 10x worse! i started this series because this book caught my eye and im so glad it didn’t disappoint. wranth grew up being an “outcast” because he was an orphan and knew nothing of his origins but as soon as the moon goddess called him to find his moon bound bride he felt like he could finally find someone that could make him feel like he belonged, but of course of all the women naomi had to be the one who had family that she just couldn’t leave behind (rightfully so) so wranth had to hide that sadness because what he could’ve had was just out of reach. in the end naomi was able to open the doors and could easily visit family and friends and they could live happily in moon blad village which im sooo happy happened. but i also have to add that even though he was one of the grumpier guys when it came to naomi he was so sweet to her and i just wish i could copy paste everything he did that i loved which tbh was the majority of the book
Another well-done book in this series, I do like that the author has a colorful cast of FMC in this series but also making them unique in personality and witch powers. Pacing is done well, although it is sometimes abrupt, but the goofy parts of it shine through to help relax the seriousness (well as serious as you can get for a fantasy isekai smut).
I appreciate that the author does their research for each FMC. I also appreciate that the author tried to get a good enough understanding for each topic, so when writing some details, it's not too much or too vague for the reader.
Although the MMC love interests border on the same type of devotion, I like it because what else am I reading these smuts for if the main characters hate each other until the end?
I do like the flipping POVs that add to the storytelling and overall world building. Plus, it gives a fun POV into what each is thinking and gives you a break from getting irritated over the other character.
I'm excited for the next book in this series and will pick it up when it comes out!
Thank you to the author for the eARC.
Have I told you lately how much I love this series? It just makes my heart so happy.
Bound to the Orc Warrior was no different. Our MMC Wranth, is an orphaned Orc who has lived his life feeling like he was always an outcast, on the outside, missing something. And our FMC Naomi, a human (newly-discovered witch!) loves her hometown but feels like she’s missing her purpose in life and wants to travel. The Moon Goddess couldn’t have picked a better couple to pair.
The two are temporarily tethered together (forced proximity FTW) where they mostly emotionally connect, but don’t forget about the attraction. Throw in a little bit of primal play kink and this one may be the spiciest of the series yet!
Also there are kittens in this one. This book is literally my kryptonite.
It feels like an end of an era, although I know with the way this story went, we’ll be opening up to new characters and worlds and I can’t wait to see where it goes. I’m so thankful Krista reached out to me to read the first book because I’m here forever and she’ll never get rid of me.
Wranth and Naomi - Where do I even begin? This story is so important to the overarching storyline. I was blown away, and I am still processing the plot twists and turns! Wranth and Naomi are perfectly counterbalanced characters, and watching them discover their heart’s desire in each other was sweet, spicy, and heartwarming. Wranth had hidden wounds and depths, which made him infinitely lovable. Naomi, individually, was the most critical witch to enter Alarria in over 300 years. With her creation, Krista moved the story in directions I never saw coming, but which are thrilling! Oh, the possibilities! (Insert happy dance!) I LOVE this series, and just when I thought I knew what to expect, BOOM!, Krista gives us the unexpected! I don’t want to give away too much, so I’m trying to be vague, but it is so hard! lol! Trust me, you need to read this series, and this book especially! So, so good!
She was whining how she wanted to explore the world and what not and when she got the opportunity and was put on alarria she was whining to go home, like girl pick a side. I think that was my least favourite part of her character, other than that she was fine I guess. Don't get me started on the unresolved abandonment issues he had and still has. Also, I like primal play, but just in dark romance because here it was kinda ridiculous and came out of left field. No discussion beforehand whatsoever. And they both didn't seem like someone that would enjoy that in my opinion. I like this new power brought to the village too (teleportation), each woman is a badass witch. My favourite part of alien romances is where they stay in a different realm not being intertwined with earth so yeah another miss in this book for me. This is definitely my least favourite from the series but that's fine, not every book is gonna be for everyone
Naomi and Wranth are a cute pair. She has the ability to teleport and he is the forever misfit with no family or home. Her magic tethers them together to the point that they cant be more than 20 feet apart. But what’s really special about her is that she can open all the closed doors between the realms allowing the unicorns, ket sith, dragons etc travel the realms again. Earth too. And the original land of the orcs where they discover a new threat and that Wranth is an orphaned royal. I like that he doesn’t suddenly take on royal duties or anything. He just wants to be with Naomi. They had great chemistry and the way the human women are together as a support system is brilliant. The missing orcs are bound to turn up and her friend Hannah is sure to be a bride. I’m looking forward to King Aldoran and his story.
I love this series! This book is new favorite! I wish I could give it a billion stars! There are so many surprising reveals in this book, and the primal chase scenes melted my ereader!
I just want to wrap Wranth in a hug. This orc is the only orphan in all of Alarria and feels unlovable and lost. Then the goddess gifts him with a moon bound bride. Naomi is sweet and fierce and one of the best plus size heroines I’ve ever read, really confident in her body. She also has a family and life back on Earth, so how will they be able to stay together?
The whole group is so funny together, and there’s so much banter!
It’s a 10 out of 10, stay up until 5 a.m., can’t put it down read! I was late for work. Worth it! Amazing characters, rich world building, and a love story that hits all the feels!
LOVE THIS SERIES!!
Oh thank goodness, whatever glitch that hasn’t let me leave a review of any of the previous fabulous books of this series is finally past! This series has a great story arc, each building one the last, adding new loveable characters all of whom seem to have serious ego trips going on! Except the Orc’s, they’re super noble, and the human women who are snatched from earth by the Orc’s moon goddess to paired with an orc as him moon bound bride. Each of the women has a magical gift that they never knew they had like conjuring food or machines, teleportation and flight! And each brings pair brings another valuable piece to the puzzle to help them defeat their enemies, the soul stealing slougha, and reopening the doors of farie between the numerous different home realms of the various types of Fae living in Allaria.
This is such an intense magical read. Everything comes together in this amazing adventure. New friends become awesome allies despite the quirky antagonizing banter between them.
A love story that is heartfelt and heartbreaking. Krista did an exceptional job creating a story that pulls at your heartstrings. Emotional entanglements that tether you to these astonishing characters. A realm where we can truly immerse ourselves in their lives.
This story has everything you could possibly want in a book. A world where you don't want to leave. It is a story that captures the very essence of a love that shines within the characters and through every word written.
A story with an amazingly HEA 💜🔥
Received as an ARC.
💚 Grumpy x Sunshine
💚 Touch her and 💀
💚 Plus size witch FMC
💚 Orphaned outcast hero MMC
💚 Extreme forced proximity - they can't get more than 20-ft from each other!
💚 Talking animals
💚 Found family in a cozy Orc village
I think this is my favourite book from the series so far. All of the characters were engaging and likeable, with our usual element of sassy little sidekick animals to add to the story.
Naomi and Wranth were the epitome of grumpy x sunshine, she’s bloody daylight in a bottle that girl. Her need for adventure and to overcome her past heartbreak was admirable and just what you want in an FMC. Whilst Wranth’s ability to come to terms with his past was heartbreaking at times. I loved them both separately and as a couple.
Gleeful Goblin Review: Holy cats, this book was hysterical. I love that we get to see a bit more blending of the worlds so to speak because we get a double dose of "fish out of water". I also felt like this was a book that was a love letter to romance book loving nerds like me because I swear Naomi would fit in SO WELL in my favorite monster/paranormal romance groups. So having that angle influences her choices, like how she deals with suddenly having magic powers. I feel like I got a lot of lore/world building from this book thanks to Naomi's mission to reopen the doors of Faerie and return magic to Earth and I LOVED IT. Yet another smash hit in the series from an author I can't get enough of. 5/5 Stars
Connected
I loved how different this book started from all the others. It also brought a lot of laughter. Naomi really should have been careful what she wished for, but it quickly worked out.
It was good finding out about grumpy Wranth's past and why he was the way he was. As always, there is the loyal unicorn that is a grumpy friend to the orc. Another cat cuith is introduced and what a hoot he is.
Connections are made with allies as well as figuring out the end game. Adventure a bonds with battles and new places and players.
This is one step closer to the conclusion and I look forward to seeing what happens next.
