Thank you Harper Michaels, and Nisha's books and coffee for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC and leave my review.
Honestly not sure what I read, but I enjoyed it lol. Insta-love, virgin FMC and broken MMC. I liked the couple together, would enjoy a full book about them. Glad they both found where they belonged within each other. Quick plot, a couple time skips and a cute but sexy spicy scene.
Plus Belle's bookstore cameo connected the two books ❤️

Brody liked being alone, not having family, society, and friends constantly breathing down his neck. Which, is what made him want to move to the mountains to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The man has some pain accosicated with being with others. When Ruby unluckily gets stuck in the mountains she stays with Brody. There's an instant attraction between the two of them. Ruby was bold and self assured. Brody more reserved. Once everything started for them, they grew attached quickly.
I’ve been lost for a long time…the problem is I don’t know if I want to be found. -Ruby
Little red riding hood aka red, you're about to be gobbled up and boy oh boy do I wish I was you! Harper knows how to put the hammer down in a short story. It starts out so sweet and innocent then bam... pun intended!
Brody is book 2 in her grumpy mountain series and I'm loving it! Brody might be my favorite.
Brody by Harper Michaels is the story of Brody and Ruby. She gets stranded in a snowstorm on her way to see her grandmother. He helps her out. Not sure about this story. Ruby seems incredibly forward for someone so innocent. Brody has issues and is kind of in seclusion. The story is a fast, short read…Pretty good story! 3.5 stars
Fast paced, straight to the point mountain man quick read. Good amount of spice and banter. Really liked Brody as a mc and the setting is realistic and interesting Very much recommend!
So good! I love the age gap, grumpy/sunshine! This was a fast paced book, no frills or useless fluff. I would have enjoyed a little more story, but I know the style of writing Ms Michaels writes! I cannot lie that of course, I loved this one too! Brody is just yummmmm and makes me want a mountain man of my own! Haha Amazing as always Harper!
Finding herself stuck on the side of the road, Ruby is soon rescued by Brody. The two quickly realize their attraction and act on it. This was a quick, and fun read!
I received this as an ARC. It was a very quick, but good read. I loved Ruby and Brody's interaction. I would have liked it to be a bit longer, but the story was great! I got "Once Upon A Time" vibes from it. :)
