Olivia’s life has completely changed after the death of her older sister Elisabeth and her brother-in-law. Her mum had believed her responsible for their deaths, but even after her innocence was proven, her family still hadn’t fully forgiven her, for something that had nothing to do with her.

She goes to Cordon for help, because she knows that he’s strong enough to deal with whatever she’s going through; he also has people at his home that he trusts who can help her look after Tillie, while he looks after her.
If she can’t get control of her powers, then she can’t do her job; if she can’t do her job, then she won’t get paid, to be able to pay off the debt. Rumours begin to spread at Tillie’s school of her lack of control, which doesn’t help with how she’s been feeling; will her boss believe these rumours or not?
