this would have gotten 5 stars if not for the very abrupt ending that left me scratching my head wondering if not all of the book downloaded. I am really enjoying this series.

The next adventure of the team gathered by Veledar and Arcturus (that name... can't take my mind off Actarus and Goldorak - french adaptation of Grendizer, a bit distracting for me).
It is more bent on casual banter than the first book I think, still with interesting character and plot developments, but not as intense as some moments of the first.
A remark : reading the Dragon's awakening before will spoil one of
Overall, some typos, grammar errors but nothing severe, it is often the case in niche books such as this. Nothing really hampering anyway.
The real agenda of the Lumarian king (or whoever is behind ?) is still in the shadows, yet ominous hints are dropped.
Good new characters, the Emerald Lady and her sons have a good development.
I would have expected for Arcturus and Veledar's relationship to evolve more than that, though another character pair beats them to it. I guess they've their reasons to take their time then.
