Y’all ain’t ready for this one! This was just what we needed to get a head start on Aaron’s story! The one was dark, so damn dark and spicy and perfect.
This was the perfect little insight to the friendship between Aaron, Tristan and Dom. We already know Aaron and Dom grew up together but we had no idea where Tristan came from. This little novella shows you the introduction to Aaron and Tristan.
Aaron decides he wants to play with the big boys. Insert Tristan. Tristan has sold his soul years ago and is willing to bring the right person into the fold with him. Tristan becomes Aaron’s business partner and they decide to celebrate!
These three have a wicked ass night and it was so fun to tag along and watch everything unfold! Tristan becoming a full dom, watching Aaron submit and learning more about how obsessed Dom is with Zoe!
Aaron gets himself into some deep shit. And I cannot wait to see where this goes in his story! And that’s all I will say!
Aaron has always been a wild card and I cannot wait for his story! Especially with that ending! 🤯 Aaron is going to be dark, twisty and spicy and I am here for it!

Spicy 🥵
I loved this prequel to Watch Me Burn and it got me excited to read it.
Aaron is meeting Tristan so that they could become partners in work. He asks Dom to come with him. After Aaron signs the deal, Tristan suggests that they celebrate since they were already at Untamed hotel, which a lot of important people go to to explore their BDSM tendencies and everything is always hush hush and nothing ever goes out to public.
They stumble upon Selene and they play a game of truth or dare. They then decide to all have fun together. Selene would hide and they have to find her. While they were searching they stumbled upon other rooms, and the things that those other people were doing had my jaw on the floor.
I was worried about Dom being a participant in Aaron and Tristan’s “thing” with Selene. I know that this was before Dom and Zoe met again and became a couple. But I just wouldn’t have been able to stomach reading about him with someone else.
But crisis was averted and i was so glad.
On his way to find Selene, Aaron enters a room where Caterina is holding someone tied to like a hospital bed. He witnesses her cutting off his d*** and putting it in his mouth before finishing him.
She sees Aaron standing and he flees. Grateful that he was wearing a mask.
He finds Selene and the others who have already started “playing” (Dom was just watching) and joins in.
By the end of the night, Caterina meets Aaron outside and he is without a mask. She warns him that she will be watching him closely. And the book ends.

It sounded desperate to me. Like girl you already got 2 hot men ravishing you, leave my baby alone and have some self respect. It was obvious he doesn’t want to join in.
She even left Aaron and Tristan sleeping on bed and left to pursue Dom. He said he can help her with her primal fantasy. So she runs from him. When he finds her, he ties her up and she thinks that he’ll finally do something to her. But he just texts Aaron with the location and saying he left them a gift.
That was savage and made me love Dom even more. He just stood and watched.

I was lucky to receive an ARC of Tina Spencer's newest novella, Untamed which is the backstory of Aaron, Dominik, and Tristan.
I completely devoured this novella and could not put it down!
I was excited to learn more about Aaron, Dominik, and Tristan and how their friendship came about because I have always wondered how Tristan fits into the picture.
I have had a love-hate relationship with Aaron ever since reading about him in Dominik and Zoe's story. It was interesting getting a glimpse into his head as he is an interesting character that is for sure! I hope Tina can change my opinion of Aaron when he gets his book.
Tristan took me by surprise, I was not expecting him to be like that and I am unsure what to think. I loved him in Dominik and Zoe's story. It will be interesting to see if I still love him in the next book.

As someone who never read the first 2 books in the series, I didn’t feel Iike I was out of the loop on anything. If anything, it has spurred me to move Shattered Obsession and Shattered Hearts to the top of my TBR.
These men 🥵 Aaron, Tristan, and Dom. Tristan is dominant and controlling while Aaron is more of a submissive and Dom is the tortured soul in the story.
This was such a quick, easy read that packed quite a punch in the spice department. There was:

Full disclosure, I hate-read this. Not something I’ve ever done before and I usually think it’s silly to do, but I couldn’t help myself for some reason. I didn’t really enjoy the Hudson Yards duet and I thought I would be done with the series moving forward, but I was curious enough about Tristan and Aaron to want to read this one. Then I found out it was all three guys playing with one woman and I got pissed off that Dom might be fucking around with her even though it takes place before his books. So yeah, I hate-read it. 😬
The author wrote Dom’s inner turmoil with wanting to forget about Zoe but not being able to in such a heart wrenching way. Honestly, I thought it was written better in this novella than his duet. The “goodbye butterfly” moment almost made me cry, like full on lump in the throat and blinking back tears— which I don’t often do with books!
What I did not expect: this almost reads like it belongs in the horror genre 😳 I love dark romance, but I’m a big ol baby when it comes to suspense and horror so sometimes I have to tread the line carefully lol The things Aaron encounters made my stomach drop and I felt very immersed while reading it. The author did a great job making you feel the dread and horror in this scene. Yikes. Honestly, I’m freaked out just remembering the feelings it elicited in me. Again, I’m a big ol baby though so maybe it wasn’t that much for someone who enjoys and regularly reads much darker romances/genres.
Spoilers for Dom’s involvement :
Dom doesn’t know where they are going until they are already there, he’s just trying to have fun with his best friend like they used to. By the time it’s revealed they’ll be playing in the BDSM scene, Dom is NOT happy.
At one point, the mystery woman they all play with asks Dom to touch her, but he can’t. She realizes this and tells him to put his mask on her and pretend that she’s the girl he actually wants. So he takes his mask off and places it over her face then plays with her nipples a bit, kisses her shoulder and back, but that’s it.
The next scene they have together, he tells her vaguely about not being able to move past Zoe and she gives him some advice. To change the subject, he asks about her fantasies and she tells him about her chase fantasy which he agrees to. When he catches her, he removes his belt and uses it like a leash around her neck as he walks her to where he wants her. Then he ties her up and gags her. He licks her blood and drool from her face then ties a vibrator to her and leaves her for Aaron and Tristan to play with. He then hides out in the shadows and watches Tristan and Aaron fuck her from afar like a voyeur.

I honestly have no idea what I just read but in the best way. I loved getting to see Aaron and Tristan's characters, especially because up until now they've both been big mysteries. I had no idea what I was in for when I opened this novella and was definitely not disappointed! I absolutely need Aaron and Tristan's stories right now, especially with how many questions this novella leaves you with when it comes to both of them. I was nervous for how I'd feel about reading Dominik's side of this story, knowing my feelings from Shattered Obsession and Shattered Hearts, but Tina managed to give him a place in the novella without making me rage-quit the book 😂.
The spice in this book is SPICY. I mean... the christmas tree scene?! I shouldn't have been surprised but man, this book caught me blushing. This book is heavy spice but don't let it fool you, there's just enough plot to leave you wanton for the next in the series.

💋 “WHAT THE HECK IS WITH AARON???” Since the very first book I knew there was more to Aaron. I just knew he had some dirty little secrets, but I was not prepared for what you gave us. He is powerful, commanding & determined to allow himself to play.
💋Aaron strikes up a deal with Tristan & drags Dominik along. What they think is a business deal in an abandoned building turns into a dark & delicious night of raw power and pure ecstasy at Untamed. I thought you were going to do my sweet baby boy Dominik so wrong but I enjoyed his part. After reading Shattered Obsession and Shattered Hearts in the Hudson Yards series. I was pure begging for more of Tristan and Aaron’s story, and Tina delivered the goods!
Untamed is a deliciously dark why choose, spicy holiday novella that will have you locked in. I really enjoyed this prequel to this series. It gave insight to the backstory of how Tristan, Aaron & Dominick all met. As this novella was to shed more light on Tristan and Aaron’s backstory, having Dominick there was such a sweet bonus. There is an ominous and mysterious vibe to the story as well. I devoured this book and the absolute wildest cliffhanger has me ending up more questions that need answering than I did at the beginning.
The spicy scenes definitely packed the heat. I loved how Dominick was well reserved to a point, also knowing that his head and heart still lies in Boston 🦋 and there was no way to get over that.
Oh, also good luck picking out a tree at the Christmas tree farm this holiday season😏🎄🪢🍑

I have so many questions. What did I read? What the hell is Aaron and Tristan involved in? Who is that powerful girl that they all straight ravished? And that blonde? Is she Zoe’s friend that Aaron can’t stand? Like my mind is spinning.
Tina, I have never needed the next book more in my life. And this novella only confirmed in my mind that Tristan is going to be my boy of the series. That man is straight unhinged in the most delectable of ways. I mean all of these boys with their primal dominate ways just does something to me!
I do highly recommend reading the Hudson Yards duet before this holiday novella. And if you already have then don’t hesitate to see more into these boys devious and depraved sexcapades. This is the start of their friendship and the bond of that was created through a business deal that was sealed with a woman named “Selene.” Because I have a feeling her real name ain’t Selene and she’s going to play a role in the next book!

Really quick holiday read. Although I do wish I read the first two before this one that way I could’ve connected with the characters more. But now I feel the need to read them even more!
Tristan and Aaron have a really interesting dynamic- Tristan is definitely the more dominant one but Aaron has this need for control while being submissive in ways as well. Dominic seems to be the one with a troubled soul and is more on the outside not letting himself fully go while still playing an important role with Selene. Selene was captivating to them all from the start and certainly lets her darkest fantasies come to life with them.
I’m definitely really interested in finding out more about the characters (especially whatever’s going on with Aaron, & what happens between Dom & Aaron’s sister!)

That ending has me losing my mind! So be prepared to be left with way more questions than answers in this spicy little novella. How Tina managed to write such incredible toe curling spice, absolute chaos, anxiety provoking and crazy revelations in such a short amount of pages I’ll never know. I devoured this book and honestly it made me even more impatient for the next book. This book is spicy, why choose, primal play and a secret club where all your dark desires can be played out. I knew Aaron was going to be the kinkiest man when I read him in the first two books and getting to see him so out of his element was to die for. I’ve been so intrigued by Tristan and I have so many more questions. Dom is the perfect little sad boy and reading him in his element was everything. I am so obsessed with the men of the Hudson Yard series and cannot wait for more!

Wow, wow, wow… This novella was everything I hoped it would be and so much more! Let me tell you getting to know Tristan, Aaron, and Dom more in this book only further adds to my need for more of them! The multiple facets of Aron we get to see and how his past and need for control dictates his every move added so much understanding of him. I enjoyed seeing Tristan have to be vulnerable as well. For a novella, you can clearly feel how that night changed them. Selene was such a good FMC and I wonder if we will see more of her in the future. Oh, and the thriller situation with Aaron was definitely unexpected, and the cliffhanger has me needing to know more asap. If you enjoy MFM, secret club, risky business ventures, spicy truth or dare, Christmas trees and b*nd*ge then I highly suggest you add this to your holiday TBR!

Oh my god, this book threw me for a loop, and I loved it! I can't say much without spoiling anything, but holy crud, Tina went all out with this novella! I went into it, expecting a little Christmas novella about the fabulous trio: Aaron, Dominik, and Tristan. I should've known those three were not ones for a cute little Christmas book. I couldn't decide whether or not to giggle, scream, or sit there in stunned silence. I have way more questions than answers after reading this, and I need the next book ASAP! The tension, the spice, the mystery?!?! What on earth is going on at Untamed?! If you loved the first two books in the Hudson Yards Series, do NOT skip this book! Read it! Or if you're looking for a new dark romance series to dive into, here's a jaw-dropping prequel to start with!

I just want to say, reading this gave us the insight we’ve been dying for since reading Shattered Obsession and Shattered Hearts.
The origin story of the how the boys come together: Tristan, Aaron and Dom.
Dom and Aaron have been best friends for forever but Aaron strikes a business deal with Tristan, knowing but not knowing just what he’s getting himself into.
Tristan suggests celebrating by enjoying everything at Untamed, the club that is just a rumor, or so Aaron thought.
One night of debauchery for the boys, one they will never forget!
This novella gave us an insight to who Tristan and Aaron really are and can’t wait to read more.

This novella is a prequel of sorts taking place before Dom’s duet. Although it takes place before the duet, you definitely need to read the duet first as this one does tell some of the secrets that are important reveals in the first set of books. This is a “why choose” novella that shows how Tristan came into the picture of Dom and Aaron and let’s just say, that was not really how I saw it all going down and I will just leave it at that. This story is spicy as hell with a vast majority of it taking place in a secret sex-type club. This novella gives a peek into Tristan and Aaron’s inner workings before they get their own books. And it definitely presents so options for their stories, but I’m not going to say anymore along those lines because I will not ruin it for anyone.
This is only 130 pages so it is a very quick turnaround read that I definitely recommend

How Author Tina Spencer manages to take this little novella and literally tilt your world on its axis is insane!
We are quickly thrown into the Hudson Yard Series world and with some very familiar faces.
