In this finale, emotions are high as the crew evaluates the importance of love and family. Each individual character has a different demon that they're battling with life itself, and they realize that the only way to move forward is to face them. As the past haunts Reagan, she finds herself in a life-or-death situation. Stuck in a compromising situation that could risk the love Blaq has grown for her scares her more than anything, but she soon finds out that the worst thing she could’ve done was keep secrets from him because what happens in the dark always comes to the light.
Blaq constantly battles with his relationship with one of the biggest Drug Lords in Miami; his father Nitt. A part of him tries hard to forgive him for the things he’s done to cause Blaq and his mother pain, while a bigger part of him just wants his father back. No matter the differences, he knows if he can’t count on anybody else, his father still has his back, even when he thought the only woman he truly loved disgraced him.
Paris is trying hard to get over Justice's mistakes that has caused her so much pain in their marriage, but when she has her twins, things take a turn for the upside. It takes for true love and evaluation for Paris to decide whether she wants her family, or rather she wants a new life. In the end she finds out just how powerful the meaning of the word love is.
Justice only wanted to make his money and make his family happy, but dealing with two women who hated each other wasn’t easy. Dealing with a bitter baby mama was even harder. He realizes just how bad his mistakes could cost him, and he’s determined to make things right with his wife before it’s too late.
Ahnesti and Buddah are on an all-time high. With both of them struggling to love, they realize that they are just the medicine they need for one another in a good, yet toxic way. Buddah never thought he would find his match, but he realizes that when he finds himself doing everything to make Ahnesti happy. In this emotional heart pulling finale, watch the growth, love, and maturity pour out as they allow us into their world for the last ride.
This series was sooooo good!!! Book 3 did not disappoint!!!
Justice came so far from book 1! I did NOT expect things to take a turn the way it did with him! My heart stopped for a second cuz I just knew it couldn’t end that way 😂 & luckily I was right! I loved seeing the growth in him throughout the series! Him & Paris were so cute! I love how things worked out for them!
I loved Blaq & Reagan so much! As traumatic as it was he loved her through what she went through! He was so understanding of why she did what she did even though he was rightfully upset he stuck beside her! Their ending was so perfect!
Buddah & Ahnesti were a mess 😂 they were the funniest of the three couples! They kept me laughing!! He literally met his match with her & vice versa! The way they finally opened up to each other & how her provided & protected her was everything!
The cliffhangers in book 1-2 almost took me out but this series was so worth it!!
The story line was good and real life, but feel unfinished. I feel that Skyy was not punished for her part in getting her son father killed and she still very bitter towards her son getting to know his brothers. We need a conclusion for Skyy's deceitful and her secret to come to light.
I can’t stand a book that gives you no closure and that’s exactly what happens in this book. I’m sad Justice died because of sky but I would have at least like to hear from her perspective again with type of regret on her sons behalf. I also probably would have skipped right over this book if I had know there wasn’t a happy ending life is depressing enough I like my books with happy endings.
This definitely could have been wrapped up in the last book. Also, I don't like that Paris took Justice back but doesn't really accept his baby. And he's lame for allowing it. If you're gonna forgive your no good cheating husband then you gotta accept the outside baby with open arms or you're a Bird! lol
This book...man my heart is broken. I’m a sunshine and rainbows type of girl and this ending was anything but. The Justice situation was terrible and I hate Skye didn’t get her karma. But worse than that was the Reagan situation. That was too much for me, major triggers. Good story despite the tragedies.
This series was good up until the ending and how some of the situations played out I mean how the daddy say what he said about indy but don't fully explain it and why did Paris and her kids have to suffer forever at the hands of sky hell she had already suffered enough but for her to do what she did and get away with it no I'm not feeling that and what kinda cartel or gangsta kill a person without getting down to the what and why first and why would he be looking at property alone for their business... some of these story lines just don't make sense to me even if it is fiction still
A good wrap up of everyone involved. I don’t know how I feel about Sky going to jail instead of being offed! She should have felt a little bit more pain for what she did! After Justice broke down how things would be she should have gotten the clue and acted accordingly, but she didn’t.
Reagan was putting me through it. I’m glad Buddha walked in and saw her because had he not, at no telling how long she would have stayed away!
I think this was a good conclusion to this series! I truly enjoyed it!
Nooooo I can’t believe justice is dead like never coming back! Why when reading it I thought he was gonna come back and surprise all of them but he didn’t! Man that took a big piece out of the puzzle! However I’m glad the family was their for Paris and the kids! Things a scorned woman will do! All because she could stay the fact he was happy with his wife! I just wish that the fellas had known skyy was In on it! Then Mrs Trina would be raising babies Josiah as well! Blaq and Buddha stepped up to be some real men and loving best friends! Buddha is a trio and his mouth ain’t no better but he has meet his match and ahnesti ain’t going anywhere! Now Blaq and reagen I thought he wasn’t gonna let her back in but the feelings he had he had no other choice! I couldn’t believe how bray did her but he got his!! Now they living happily every after with beautiful and engaged as well! I would love to hear more about them but if not they are living a good life as well! Not knew he was wrong but he was a man but he was a father too! And even though he said Indy was his first he never stopped being Blaq dad! He was there whenever Blaq needed him and handled the situation and that’s that! Mrs st Patrick was a woman and even though her husband sis what he did she still stuck it out! She had been with him to long and loved our weighted the most! And nitt stepping up being her provider and protector when she was sick was a good thing too! Glad Buddha sister beat cancer and now living happy and going out a lot more! Sad the crew is leaving g but the left on a good note! See the cute some other time! And oh that tattoo that Paris got I love it! I just said I wanted to get that exact tattoo ALWAYS AND FOREVER that’s what me and my guy and our daughter say to each other!
I'm not saying that Reagan taking Bray money when he went to jail was right but I'm not saying she was wrong either. I believe even if she didn't take it. Bray still would've came after Reagan because he felt like he owned her. He felt like she was his property. While Ahnesti and Black thought Reagan just needed space after the note the note they found. They had no clue Bray kidnapped, beat, and raped her. He terrorized the hell out of Reagan. It was a blessing that Maud dumb ass helped her escape. Ahnesti and Buddha are funny together. Neither one of them have any filter. I was glad the both of them stop running from their feelings and decided to get together official. I'm not even surprised that Paris tried to shoot Justice. It was actually funny. She had every right to be hurt, pissed off, and ready to divorce his ass but she let him get away with too much before she reached that point. One thing about Star. Throughout this whole series. She kept it real with Skyy and didn't bite her tongue. Skyy was delusional and obsessed with Paris and Justice. Justice just wanted to be there for him and Skyy son but she was making it hard because Skyy felt she should have the same benefits as Paris. Skyy was missing the point that Paris is Justice wife and she knew that from the beginning before she laid down and slept with that man. Justice was always brutally honest and told her he would never leave Paris. Skyy still not being able to handle the truth and did the unthinkable. I wasn't even surprised that she was behind Justice getting set-up and almost losing his life. A bitter and scorn woman is dangerous. Star was disgusted when Skyy told her what she done. I don't blame Star for how she reacted. Skyy tried to take Justice from Paris and his children but Justice served her, her karma
I will say if this was all one book, I would have rated it differently for sure.
I’m all for happy endings but it comes to a point where, especially in urban litt books that we should have a sense of reality. I say that to say I love how justice got his ending & your authors note at the end was some real sh**t.
Now a days I be reading books and you have the main characters and their 10+ friends and big family and you telling me this an urban lit, street gang/mafia/kingpin book and at the ends nobody from their side dies???? But everybody that’s against them dies??? Like let’s be fr.
Kiddos for you for giving this book some sense of reality.
I’m mad to be honest that Paris forgave him. Sorry not sorry. Imma need these females to love themselves first in these books. Your kids walking around being hood triplets!! I most definitely would have divorced him.
I’m not mad at Sky what so ever. Matter a fact, I’m 50/50 with her as**. The moment that man told her what was up, she should have aborted that baby & left him alone. Ughhh I hate when a woman doesn’t know her worth.
Shout out to Ahnesti & Buddah for being the best #1 couple in this book, love them down!!! I loved their ending. I also feel like we could have gotten more of them & their story.
Idk something about Reagan & Blaq don’t feel complete to me. Like I really wanted this story to center them and them only. I felt like Reagan story was rushed. Idk.
The wrap up was doing what it needed to do I can't believe Skyye and the fact that she tried to have this man killed like what would that have accomplished now your son doesn't have a father and the other kids don't have a father and then both women are miserable like that made no sense but she got her justice I get that Paris didn't want to really accept the kid right away because he did violate their marriage and it's hard because you have a constant reminder of the kid and everything and I get that but the fact that you knew that your husband was cheating for a long time too and kind of turn that blind eye to it you didn't help the situation you should have put your foot down before they got to the point of pregnancy you knew he was cheating cuz she came to that funeral and Paris fought her so therefore she knew about that girl long beforehand so you should have left and put your foot down so he knew not to play with you and therefore she wouldn't have got pregnant but the fact that you let him keep slide he did exactly that. Other than that this book and the series was really really good I like the whole series the fact that this author kept taking quotes from famous movies and things that celebrities have said was hilarious cuz it was like word for word and I was like really LOL.
This was a cute ending to this series. I feel like things were kind of rushed, but this was the ending, so I understand the notion of trying to wrap this up quickly.
Nonetheless, Justice and Skyy got the karma they deserved. Skyy was definitely wrong for what she did, but although Paris forgave Justice, I didn't, so I think his situation was just another lesson he needed to learn and humble him for his past infidelities. I'm glad he came out okay in the end, though, and he and Paris were able to find peace, fall deeper in love, and build their family.
Skyy got exactly what she deserved, and karma is a b*tch.
Blaq slightly pissed me off. When he found out what happened to Regan and why she was suddenly gone, he shouldn't have even made room in his mind to think about her taking that WELL DESERVED money from her ex. However, I loved that he stopped fighting his feelings and professed his love, and they, too, were able to build a healthy relationship.
I wish the ending had more of Buddah and Ahnesti's relationship. It felt like their situation only received five minutes of shine, and that was it.
Nonetheless, this was a good way to end the series; I love happy endings.
It was a great read & hopefully it will help someone see a different perspective.
Men do foolish things that in the end hurt the ones they love & often times cause their deaths. Women always try to overlook the error in their ways & see most things as a competition when there's isn't one. You can't compete where you don't compare. I'm happy for Blaq, Reagan, Ahnesti, Buddah, Nitt, Mrs. St. Patrick, Ashlynn, Ms.Maxwell. I'm sad for Paris while being disappointed & proud of Justice. Skyy as was never a solid woman based off her action & she never loved Justice or her child. She was in love with snatching a woman's husband & having access to his money. Her sister, Star, tried to show her the error in her ways but she had already convinced herself that she was entitled to Justice & that he loved her & would want to have a family with her instead of his wife & twins. Even though Justice never told her or pretended that he would ever leave his wife for her. A jealous bitch will kill you!
Sometimes men can be bitter too and Bray proved that. His revenge wasn't about what Reagan took from him. He kidnapped Reagan because he wanted that control he had over her back. I felt sorry for the suffering and abuse Reagan was dealing with from Bray crazy ass. Blaq thought Reagan had up and left him but he had no clue her past had came back to haunt her. You gotta laugh at Ahnesti and Buddha. The both of them don't have any filter but I was happy they were able to learn to love each other after dealing with their own separate demon's. Justice definitely worked overtime to get Paris to forgive him. I understand why Paris didn't want anything to do with Skyy and her baby. Skyy was bitter and tried to be petty and thought she was going to use her son as ammunition again Justice. Justice really tried to coparent with Skyy but she was too silly acting. She was also a woman scorned. I wasn't even surprised that Skyy set Justice up. She felt if she couldn't have him then Paris couldn't.
This series definitely gives movie because the amount of foolishness that took place, I can’t even…
Long story short, for me this one didn’t hit the same as the others but it was still very good and necessary.
Justice still ain’t shuga honey iced tea, but he put himself on that straight and narrow for Paris. That she deserved because truthfully she should’ve left him. I am happy that he didn’t force his outside situation on her and allowed her to come to terms with it in her own timing.
Skyy could go to hell. She was so grimy and Justice deserved what she dished out, Paris did not! I’m so glad she got what was coming to her. Albeit, I was hoping for more.
Buddah and Blaq were always so solid and I loved that about them. Reagan got on my nerves. Why she handled things the way she did, I’ll never know, but hey…her story not mine.
Ahnesti is so funny. She cracked me up the whole book.
"After kissing so many frogs, the ladies finally felt what it was like giving a real thug kisses."
I was completely all in for this series and I can say it didn't disappoint. I'm so glad everyone were thriving, growing, and doing life together after all the ups and downs and close moments. I'm glad Paris and Justice found their happy place and Skyy became a non factor after what she did. I wish Josiah could be with his siblings all the time, but as a woman, I understand Paris had to come to terms with some things. Blaq and Reagan, these two were so cute. He really was out of character when it came to her, but that showed his soft side that only she and Mrs. St. Patrick could get. Then there's Buddha and Ahnesti, true twin flames. She was the literal female version of him and I think that made them more compatible. In the end, all was well and it did give some thug tears! Happy Reading Y'all!💋
this finale brings everything full circle, with each character being forced to confront their past, their choices, and what love and family really mean moving forward. overall, this was a solid wrap-up to the series. the drama stayed consistent, but it finally felt like things were being addressed instead of just piling on. now skyy… yeah, i cannot believe her 😭 trying to have that man killed?? like what was the end goal, she definitely got what was coming to her — karma handled that. i also understood paris’ hesitation when it came to accepting the child. justice absolutely violated their marriage, and having that constant reminder in her face isn’t something you just move past overnight. her feelings felt real, even if the situation itself was messy. overall, this was a good conclusion to the series. messy, emotional, and full of consequences, but it wrapped things up in a way that made sense for the characters.
I've just finished re-reading this series. I loved Reagan's and Blaq's relationship because it showed that he wasn't shallow. While I get the author's note at the end of the book, I have to add my opinion. Men need to, indeed, be careful of the women that they lay with. However, Skyy needed to take that L and move on.Some women need to play their positions. Justice told her that he wasn't leaving his wife. The fact that he was married should've had Skyy questioning Justice's faithfulness......... instead Skyy lived in this fantasy land where she and Justice would live happily ever after. If a man will cheat on his wife, don't you think it will happen to you? I'm glad that Ahnesti and Buddha got their stuff together as they both had major trust issues.
Reagan went through it in this one. She was facing life-or-death decisions, haunted by secrets she kept from Blaq, and the tension between them? Whew. I could feel it through the pages. I wanted to shake her and hug her at the same time.
Blaq had his own demons too, especially dealing with his father, Nitt. Watching him try to process that pain while holding it together for Reagan had me rooting for him even harder. His growth was real.
Ahnesti and Buddah? Toxic, tender, and complicated as ever. They had me screaming at my Kindle, but I couldn’t help but want things to work out for them. Their connection felt raw and messy in the best way.
And Paris—girllllll. Dealing with Justice’s mistakes, becoming a mom to twins, and trying to find herself again? Her strength really showed this time around.
I’m genuinely not in the mood. He just heard her say that she was kidnapped by her ex raped and beaten for days and nobody knew about it. Nobody knew anything and sitting here telling her that the only thing that you’re actually upset about or you’re getting upset about is the fact that she told you that she went and stole money from that man years ago, money that she basically helped her ex get and she felt like she owed it and then on top of that you go ahead and say why didn’t she tell you nigga this not the time? What she needs is comfort not a man sitting here questioning her. She was kidnapped raped and beaten for days none of you knew and this is what you fix yourself to say. And now you’re questioning her loyalty this woman went through hell and you’re questioning her loyalty. I hate a man. I hate a man. I truly hate this man.
I just wished Skyy would would have just listened to her sister and left Justice alone seeing that he was not going to change his mind at all should have been enough but naw because you can't have the man you knew what you were getting yourself into from the beginning he never told you he was leaving his wife and you thought about keeping a child That doesn't keep a man if anything that makes him run further away because he feels like you set him up and she did ...Even her sister was feeling what she was doing I know that took a lot to tell on sister but I'm glad she did before her sister would have wind up Dead instead of Prison...
That wrapped up real nice. Skyy…you’re a fool, good luck. I feel like the story between Buddah and Ahnasti just tapered off, like we know they’re good, but there wasn’t much else. Justice and Paris thankfully got a grip, Justice stood on business and got on his grown man face, I enjoyed how it ended for Miss Skyy…it is what it is. Reagan and Blaq were my favorite couple in this, and she deserved her HEA. Solid quick read from S. Yvonne. At my time in reading her catalog (2026) I am also reading urban fiction from the 2000’s, and her stories remind me a lot of those, which I hope others see as a compliment. I love when I can tell authors definitely were/are fans of the genre, and the TCP books we got back in the day.
My first read from this author! This was a really good series!! Star was a real one and told her sister about herself!!! Skyy was soo doggone delusional it was crazy but baby girl got her karma. I did wish Justice took more accountability for his actions towards Skyy. Love that Paris stand on business, but at the same time was able to forgive. Ahnesti and Buddhah had me laughing through the whole series. I felt for my girl Reagan for all those toads she ran into until Blaq. Blaq was definitely a real one that stood on busy. Indy should have gotta worse in my opinion 🤷🏾♀️
What a journey this was with these characters. From they ups to they downs, it was one hell of a ride. I enjoyed this series. Skyy fraud ass just couldn’t be happy with a piece of justice. Nah most men deny they kids and go ghost on them as well. Justice ain’t never did that to her. He kept it 100 with her from the gate and she caught feelings. Star was dropping jewels on you and you just couldn’t be satisfied with what you did get from him. Sad that those boys will never know they daddy. Happy for Ahnesti and buddah and Reagan and Blaq.
This crew could not say that they weren't a real true family, their friendships only grew allowing them to maintain as well as grow stronger together and individually. Reagan escaped and with some help was able to get her life back on track, Justice realized his wrongs and betrayal and did everything he could in order to regain his stable peaceful home, with them going legit they managed all the road blocks thrown at them an came on the other side happy, A great finale for some dope characters.
This was an okay read, but I also felt like it could've been more. It seemed rushed and like it could've been more said. Do I feel bad for Skyy? No, because she tried to get Justive killed because of her bitterness. Her sister Star did the right thing by telling Justice everything. I agree with Justice not rushing Paris to accept everything at once because it does take time. Ahnesti and Buddah are both fools, but I love them two together. I love how Blaq loves on Reagan they both deserve that because they have been through so much. Good series
This was a good series. All the couples found love when they didn’t expect it. Justice redeemed himself even though he messed up royally. That situation almost caused him his life. He definitely understands that it wasn’t worth it. Skyy got exactly what her delusional ssa deserved. She lucky they didn’t take her out. Ahnesti is the perfect match for Buddah nut their love is also undeniable. I love that Raegan still accomplished her goals even after being a mom.
Even after finishing, I’m still mad Justice even got involved with Skyy in the first place. I just knew she was gonna do something to make me not like her jealous self even more. She needed to learn how to love herself and stop worrying about a man who didn’t want her. Even her sister Star couldn’t help her. I will say this book was definitely focused more on Justice and Paris relationship. I wish I got a little more on Buddah and Ahnesti, they deserved some more chapters. But overall, I loved every single book in this series.
