He's got all the bad boy danger about him, with his dark smiles and his body, it should be illegal to have a body like that.
She thought that walking away would be easy, that she could get him out of her head, but no matter what she did, she couldn't forget the way his hands felt on her skin.
She finds that now she has to run back to him. She needs to find safety from her stalker and she knows that Ethan is the only one who can keep her safe.
Now, she is living under his roof, but the heat between them is too much.
With each look, each accidental touch, even each whispered word, just makes her want him that much more.
Ethan says that he'll protect her, but the way he looks at her makes her think that he wants to devour her,

When Sarah runs home to escape, her ex-boyfriend was her brother's best friend, someone she had had a crush on for as long as she could remember. Ethan was so surprised to see Sarah all of a sudden, but all it took him was one look at her to know that something wasn't right, no matter how hard she was trying to hide it.
The first thing Ethan did was go into protective SEAL mode once he learned about what was going on. He'd had to coax the information out of Sarah. He then did everything in his power to make sure that Sarah remained safe.
Despite Sarah and Ethan couldn't stop her stalker because of who he is, but they get a lucky chance to deal with the chance once and for all to deal with the issue, and this led them to finally admit to each other that they have feeling for one another giving them a chance to work towards a life of happiness.
Over and over again, my heart was broken and put back together again as I turned the pages and read this story. Connie Blake, she did such an amazing job of putting my heart back together over and over again as the story progressed.
I loved every moment of reading this book, and I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance.

The last person Sarah expected to see when she run home to escape her ex-boyfriend was her brother’s best friend, whom she had been crushing on for years. Ethan was shocked to see Sarah, but he immediately noticed there was something wrong even though she tried to hide it. Ethan immediately went into protective mode after coaxing the information out of Sarah and he pulled out all the stops to ensure her safety.
Unfortunately, Sarah and Ethan’s couldn’t stop her stalker because of who he was, but luckily they got the opportunity to permanently deal the the issue, which gave them the chance to finally acknowledge their feelings for each other and work towards a life filled with happiness. This story broke my heart over and over again as I kept turning the pages, but Connie Blake did a wonderful job piecing it back together by the time I finished reading the book. I enjoyed read this book and will be happy to recommend it.

This Novella has one of my favourite tropes, which is brothers' best friend and it was good.
Fast, to the point story with a thriller, suspense element to it.
Ethan is all business when it comes to Sarah's protection, and she doesn't feel safe with anyone but him now that her ex threatens her and is stalking her.

Quick read. Good story, situation was tense, the care Ethan takes of Sarah is so sweet. A lot of love on both sides very evident. Great short story.

Very, very short story. Sarah is being stalked by her ex and runs to Ethan, her brothers best friend and previous one night stand. All done and dusted within 30 pages!

Short good read! It's a tense situation but that doesn't stop Ethan from protecting Sarah! You can really tell the two have a deep connection from all those years ago .
