Ghostly Elements #2

A Ghost of Water

Rate this book
In the Atlantic Ocean, north of the Caribbean Sea, there are waters of legend. Three points serve as the boundaries of these waters—the southern tip of Florida, the island of Puerto Rico and the mid Atlantic island of Bermuda. This is the Bermuda Triangle.

Throughout history many ships and planes have mysteriously gone missing in these cursed tides. What dark thing resides there?

One year after the events of "A Ghost of Fire," newly married Steve and Katie Nicholas are about to find out the answer to one of the ocean's darkest mysteries. But will they make it out together?

This is the second book in the Ghostly Elements series and I found it to be very action packed, especially later in the book. Steve and Katie’s honeymoon cruise is anything but romantic and full of spooky happenings. We read it together a chapter a day in the author’s reader group, it was fun sharing our insights and theories. I was not expecting the cliffhanger ending, it left us with a lot of questions that need to be answered! Looking forward to book 3!

Steve and Katie embark on their honeymoon cruise only to find more trouble on the ship and in their relationship!

This was read as a chapter a day book with his online reading group. It rachets up the tension this way and makes for an insightful way to see their relationship issues needing to be fixed.

This is the 2nd book in this series and it did not disappoint. It had the same spooky factor as the first book with some bonus thats just horrifying moments. I was definitely not expecting the ending either! I guess I am forced to continue on to book 3 so I can get some answers!

Absolutely loved this, the 2nd book in this series!

I enjoyed this ghostly mystery immensely! Kept me reading way past my bedtime! All the ghostly goings on kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire story! The storyline was pretty scary and I liked all the characterizations of the different players in this ghostly tale. Fascinating from beginning to end!

I have a bone to pick with Mr. Whittaker. How are you going to leave us all hanging like that? You deliver an awesome book, great story, and then rip us to shreds with the last chapter & epilogue? How rude. I guess I’ll just have to read the rest of the series when it picks back up in the readers group after next month!

I really liked the visuals presented by this book. The story was even interesting at most points. However, it felt as though nothing of substance was really happening until like 75%. The the last 25% felt super rushed.

As good as the first one and no mistake, but I really wanted to smack Kate about the head even at the same time getting to understand why she was like she was.
