In a haunted mine, some treasures are better left buried.
Steve Nicholas knows some things are worse than death. But he’s about to discover that the only thing worse than being buried alive is being buried alive with the restless dead. As Steve and his friend, Trent, search for his missing wife, they are taken captive by his psychotic brother-in-law and thrust into a secluded and haunted mining operation in the mountains.

Following the clues to unearth a long-forgotten treasure of unparalleled power, Steve confronts ghostly and living threats. But something far more dangerous waits in the dark tunnels of the abandoned mines and it’s thirsty for blood.

Will Steve untangle a centuries-old mystery and escape the mines or will he become a ghost himself in the cold, dark, and haunted tunnels?

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Ghostly Elements series since the first books' release. This fourth installment has been long awaited, but it certainlydid not disappoint. On par, with Whittaker's previous books, this was a thrilling, un-put-downable tale with adventure, danger, and excited anticipation with every turn of the page. This series really does need to be read in order to make the most sense, and each book is certainly worth it.

Totally enjoyed this book in the series!

Each book gets better and better! I enjoyed the storyline and this crew of crazy characters and the many ghosts. I liked the main character slipping back into characters from the past. This is a great series! I hope it contains after the next book. I'd like to see Ghosts of the Air!

Good read!

I like the characters in these books and the messes Steve always seems to find himself in. I wonder if he will end up working with Jan. We will see
