Sometime in early 1920, auto magnate Henry Ford—then one of the richest men in the world—decided to single-handedly take on global Jewry. To that end, he initiated a nearly two-year-long attack on the Jews and the Jewish Lobby, through his corporate-owned newspaper, The Dearborn Independent. His small journalistic team, led by Ernest Liebold and William Cameron, crafted a stunning series of 87 weekly articles, each one dissecting an aspect of “the Jewish Question.” The series has been called “the largest and most damaging campaign against Jews ever waged in the United States.” It retains this honorific title to the present day.

As the series progressed, Ford elected to publish the articles in book form: in four volumes, each carrying 20 articles. Of necessity, he bypassed seven articles. The volumes also altered the original sequence of publication.

Here, in the new Definitive Edition, the complete Ford series of 87 articles has been fully restored, and in chronological order. Editor Thomas Dalton has produced a clean, crisp edition of these classic essays, correcting typos and grammatical errors while restoring the original newspaper section headings. Helpful footnotes have been added throughout. All this makes for a highly-readable edition.

Unsurprisingly, The International Jew has never been given fair treatment—until now. Dalton’s Introduction and Epilogue provide a full and proper context; nine appendices fill out the story; and a bibliography and index aid scholars.

Though 100 years old, these essays are suffused with lessons for the present day. The Jewish Question, it seems, is eternal. Fortunately, Ford’s classic work has finally been given the careful, sympathetic, and professional treatment that it has long deserved.

About the author

Henry Ford (July 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947) was an American industrialist, the founder of the Ford Motor Company, and sponsor of the development of the assembly line technique of mass production. Although Ford did not invent the automobile or the assembly line, he developed and manufactured the first automobile that many middle class Americans could afford. In doing so, Ford converted the automobile from an expensive curiosity into a practical conveyance that would profoundly impact the landscape of the twentieth century. His introduction of the Model T automobile revolutionized transportation and American industry. As owner of the Ford Motor Company, he became one of the richest and best-known people in the world. He is credited with "Fordism": mass production of inexpensive goods coupled with high wages for workers. Ford had a global vision, with consumerism as the key to peace. His intense commitment to systematically lowering costs resulted in many technical and business innovations, including a franchise system that put dealerships throughout most of North America and in major cities on six continents. Ford left most of his vast wealth to the Ford Foundation and arranged for his family to control the company permanently.

Ford was also widely known for his pacifism during the first years of World War I, and also for being the publisher of anti semitic texts such as the book The International Jew.

His father gave him a pocket watch in his early teens. At 15, Ford dismantled and reassembled the timepieces of friends and neighbors dozens of times, gaining the reputation of a watch repairman.

Ford was devastated when his mother died in 1876. His father expected him to eventually take over the family farm, but he despised farm work. He later wrote, "I never had any particular love for the farm—it was the mother on the farm I loved."

In Aldous Huxley's Brave New World (1932), society is organized on "Fordist" lines, the years are dated A.F. or Anno Ford ("In the Year of our Ford"), and the expression "My Ford" is used instead of "My Lord".

Upton Sinclair created a fictional description of Ford in the 1937 novel The Flivver King.

Symphonic composer Ferde Grofe composed a tone poem in Henry Ford's honor (1938).
Ford is treated as a character in several historical novels, notably E. L. Doctorow's Ragtime (1975), and Richard Powers' novel Three Farmers on the Way to a Dance (1985).

Ford, his family, and his company were the subjects of a 1986 biography by Robert Lacey entitled Ford: The Men and the Machine. The book was adapted in 1987 into a film starring Cliff Robertson and Michael Ironside.

In the 2005 alternative history novel The Plot Against America, Philip Roth features Ford as Secretary of Interior in a fictional Charles Lindbergh presidential administration.

The British author Douglas Galbraith uses the event of the Ford Peace Ship as the center of his novel King Henry (2007).

Ford appears as a Great Builder in the 2008 strategy video game Civilization Revolution.

In December 1999, Ford was among 18 included in Gallup's List of Widely Admired People of the 20th Century, from a poll conducted of the American people.

In 1928, Ford was awarded the Franklin Institute's Elliott Cresson Medal.

In 1938, Ford was awarded Nazi Germany's Grand Cross of the German Eagle, a medal given to foreigners sympathetic to Nazism.

The United States Postal Service honored Ford with a Prominent Americans series (1965–1978) 12¢ postage stamp.

In these days, very few people have the courage to read this book and even fewer have the courage to confess reading this book. That should change, the truth needs to be looked at and analyzed in an unemotional and factual way. That has been done by Henry Ford. This book is necessary reading as it explains the reasons behind many difficult to understand events in todays world.

I like Henry Ford's work and the fact that it is controversial makes me appreciate him more. He could of kept his opinions to himself and just took the money, but he had conviction.

This was volume 1 out of 4 books by Henry Ford. You can tell Ford is very well studied. These books are compilations of his journal The Dearborn Independent discussing the JQ. Some of the topics covered in this volume are the legitimacy of the Protocols of Zion, their probable origin from Theodore Herzl (the father of Zionism and leader of the founding of the modern state of Israel), the control of the press, and the overwhelming majority of the JQ in the Bolshevik revolution. I was also surprised to learn Christopher Columbus was partly financed by these people and had several of them on his ship while discovering America. Don't ask yourself how these topics make you feel, but if they're right. The Bible is clear there is a synagogue of Satan that is full of the spirit of antichrist. I look forward to reading the remaining volumes.

As per normal, books like this have been categorized incorrectly due to some mysterious force. This book has been categorized as a conspiracy theorist book, which it is not. The book is intensive research from a century ago in regards to the Jewish activity in the United States of America. Not only has the book been falsely categorized as conspiracy theory, but Henry Ford himself has been falsely named as a Nazi sympathizer. That is a fallacious claim because Henry Ford never showed sympathy towards Nazis or Hitler, although certain individuals are willing to point the finger and say that Hitler praised Henry Ford through an interview, which I highly doubt its validity can be Confirmed.

The research is so heavily intense, I don't think the average person would have the capacity or ability to confirm the research as 100% correct or 100% incorrect. The scenarios described in this book can be seen as active in America today. Jewish activity that is occurring today, as far as I can tell, has not been described in this book. However, I would believe and would not be surprised that the activities committed today by the Jewish community are the same as those committed 100 years ago.

It's hard to believe or comprehend how heavily integrated the Jewish Zionist community is, infused into American politics and American public affairs, unless you learn about ultra-Zionist millionaires that donate heavy funds to the American government, only then is it plausible that such control, manipulation and influence could be possible, because we do live in a world that is governed by money.

As with anything, if you do not research it and figure out the root influential causes of it, you will mainly remain ignorant of the Reasonable conclusion.

Modernly... Jewish activities have been applied to catastrophes like 9-1-1, the assassination of JFK, and other... dark events in the American history notably, the wars in the Middle East. This book does not connect such morbid events to the Jewish people. Although when you learn about majorly corrupt humans such as Jeffrey Epstein, who was a Jewish Zionists, it does beg the question as to how far the Jewish activities go in American affairs. This book tends to only focus on the bright side of things. Although sometimes you can see that the bright side might be a grey side. But you must wonder, does the bright side turn into the grey side and does the grey side turn into the dark side? If so, how would that be? to find a book that describes such events would be a book worth reading in my opinion.

Even though this book is decades old, I think the information written within is still very relevant as to what is happening today, making it very much a worthwhile read.

The book was assembled from a series of newspaper articles written at the request of Henry Ford and to which he willingly allowed his name to be used in authorship.

Ultimately Henry Ford tossed his voice in with Cicero, Caesar, Henry Ford, Benjamin Franklin, Martin Luther, Napoleon Bonaparte, & General Grant and many more and then later many more echo'd the sediment like General Patton, JFK, Nixon, Billy Graham, and so so many more since the advent of the Genocide in Gaza.

Is what it is. Book reads well.

It is hard to rate this high and put me up here with people who actually appreciate the ideas within. I rate it due to its historical importance and academic value. Adolph Hitler admired Ford, had copies of "The International Jew", and many Nazis specifically cited this content and Ford as literal "inspiration". My rating reflects the historical value in tracing the roots of Anti-Semitism (which of course did not start with Ford), not in the evil ideas contained within this book. I repeat, this publication was inspiration to the literal Nazis.

I am a Canadian who ordered this book from Thriftbooks in the USA. It was confiscated at the Canadian border. According to the Canadian gov it is considered hate speech and better for everyone if I don't read a bit of history.

It is my belief that henry ford who started his motor car company in 1903 and after 17 years of low wages that a number of Jewish Marxist communists wanted to unionize. Which ended up as a gun fight at the ok corral. Enough to make him opinionated. Enough to bail Germany out of debt after ww1 and provide them all the motors they wanted. in trade for his ideology that he shared with Americas wealthy like the Rockefellers Standard Oil, Steel companies who build the Bismarck, A.T.&T. who provided them with the best communications on the planet, they built the autobahn, Coke, Colgate, they all shared in eugenics. The pruning of a civilization. White supremacy of sorts. And created the Nazi party and financed Hitler for the entire ww2. This was also financed as a paranoid buffer against Lenin and the Russians who overthrew Catherine the great. Royalty were scared of losing it all and helped to create not just an army but bullies to be feared. They used ancestor, what I call incestory, to determine who would be slaves or die, like the democrats used the one drop of blood. For the most part I did not like this book. Henry Ford came across as a bigot who disliked Jews and had a prejudice against them. He also fixated on silly conspiracy theories about world Jewry. But I did think he had a point about inordinate Jewish influence in some aspects of society, such as the press and academia. And its a specific kind of Jew who organizes that influence, the International Jew, in other words a liberal cosmopolitan Jew, not Conservative Jews. This is not the cause directly of Liberal control of colleges and the press, but it influences the Liberal control. But Ford said a lot of ridiculous things in the book, like saying Bolshevism was simply a Jewish movement and nothing else. That idea does not make sense. So on the whole, I disliked the book.
