Lily hat ihren Freunden bei der PUB schon früher bei der Aufklärung von Vermisstenfällen geholfen, aber das hier ist ein ganz besonderer Fall. Da es keine Leichen gibt und sie nur wenige Hinweise von ihrer Kamera bekommen, steht ihnen ihr bisher schwierigster Einsatz bevor. Als sie endlich einen Durchbruch erzielen, ist es schlimmer, als sie befürchtet hatte. Vampirhexen sollten eigentlich ausgestorben sein – aber es scheint doch noch einen Hexer zu geben. Und der macht Jagd auf die Hexen vor Ort.
Wenn der Vampirhexer doch nur das Einzige wäre, worüber sich Lily, Will und das Team Sorgen machen müssten, aber ihr Plan, die Fabrik der Regula Pythonissam zu infiltrieren, steht kurz vor der Verwirklichung. Wird ihre verdeckte Ermittlung in dem Chaos, das folgt, auffliegen und ihre Chancen, herauszufinden, was mit Lilys Eltern passiert ist, für immer zunichte machen?
In der Zwischenzeit verschwindet Angelica spurlos und niemand hat eine Ahnung, wo sie sein könnte. Haben die PUB-Direktoren sie ein für alle Mal beseitigt?
Lily wünscht sich, sie hätte Zeit, sich um ein Problem nach dem anderen zu kümmern, aber wie immer hat das Universum andere Pläne. Gibt es tatsächlich einen Fall, den sie nicht lösen kann?

It's great to be back in Westerham!
This time a Vampire witch is terrorizing Westerham & Lily & her friends getting slowly there in bringing RP down.
Fantastic reading, nearly all of the main characters are back.
Keeps you guessing , witty interaction & such an engaging read!
Loved it, cannot wait for the next installment, witch I hope won't be the last...

LOVED IT!
We’re getting so close to the end of the series arc. I can’t wait to see how the author pulls it all together. I desperately need Piranha to get what is coming to her too!

Powerful witches
Lily is powerful, which draws powerful opponents. Fortunately, she has a pretty awesome support group to help keep her, and the rest of Westerham safe.

Another great book in this series. Lily is on the hunt for a kidnapper. We finally find out what's in the warehouse. The best ending happens. It fills me with happy tears.

The Paranormal Investigation Bureau (PIB) is involved in an intramural battle of a stupid headman against those loyal to the competent former director out of touch during a sabbatical forced on her. Meanwhile, the cadre of agents loyal to the former head are looking for answers to current crimes as well as the ongoing war between the PIB and the RP (which I call the clan of the python for ease).
Women witches agents are disappearing in the first case. They should have been able to defeat any attacker, so it's quite troubling. That's where the vampire come into the story. His talent is convincing other witches he's just lonely and far from dangerous until he sucks the life out of them.
While solving that case, an unauthorized snoop and poop invasion of the RP's factory comes off as planned, sort of. The evidence against the RP is so voluminous they report their findings to the PIB at danger of getting fired.
You'll have to read the book to understand the events because any more information would spoil it for you.

The Best of all!
I just finished reading all of this series in one marathon session. I liked the first book, bought the second book, liked it, bought the third book. When I started to order book four, I said "Better just go ahead and but then all." So I did! ! I thought Book 11 was my favorite. Then it was Book 12. Then this book, thirteenth in the series, just knocked my socks off! I actually took a break in the middle because I didn't want the book to be over. Dionne Lister writes clearly and has a good way of dealing with the plot, building suspense. Best of all each book has a happy ending without a cliff hanger. Of course there is a hook which keeps one wanting the next book, but I never felt a sense that each book was left unfinished. Great job!!!

An exceptional read.
The action just keeps coming! One of the hardest situations for our heroine to get out of, so far, she has to think outside the box.
An amazing book with all the friends back together again, work is made difficult by James' boss, when will be be found out? How did he get the job when he hasn't a clue about what is going on? I couldn't put this book down, I am now looking for the next in the series. I will say that I think you could also read this as a stand alone book, but, so much better as part of the series. It is lovely watching the characters grow and relationships form.

I’m so glad Ma’am showed up even it was at the very end for Lily’s bday! And an engagement! Anyone reading the series knows it was coming but just not when. So now the big boss seems to be on their side and the gang stopped a human trafficking ring. A vampire witch was interesting. Lily must be very strong to not have fallen for him until the very very end when she had no choice. I do wonder how he cut off communication between Lily and Will though - maybe because it was someone else’s talent he took when he killed them?

Refreshing take on the concept of vampires.
A little more intense than some of the others in the series. Near the end, I almost put this down because it seemed to be going to a very dark place for what one of the main characters must endure. But this was resolved fairly quickly and in keeping with the relationships Lister has developed for the protagonists.

Omg a vampire witch!
Lily has come so far but even I didn't see this coming. So many things have happened, but once Tommy appeared I knew something was off about him, so did Will!
Not gonna spoil this but I cried at this book and screamed happily out loud lol...I really need to review the previous books but I can't put this series down for long enough to sit and do it 😂

The only negative comment I have for this storyline was that it was obvious early on who the vampire was. Lily accomplishes a feat not seen before by using her magic in a way that she isn't even sure will work. The rest of the book is naturally great and the series makes for compelling reading.

Loved. Every. Page!! I am completely addicted to this series, Cannot wait to start reading the next one. I highly recommend this series, as funny, exciting and with unforgettable characters. Hoping to meet Lily of my own!

Soooo good!
Excellent, I absolutely love this supernatural series. The storyline is interesting, with plenty of action, excitement and intrigue. Very enjoyable and often hilarious.

What a great cozy mystery. Things get even crazier at PIB headquarters. Can Lily and her friends find justice for the women that are missing? And we can’t forget about RP. Have fun reading this book.
