a thrill ride
The town of Burkitt is a place haunted by innumerable dead, meaning only death for those that enter. A place that twists reality. A place controlled by one truly evil ghost.
Shane Ryan enters the town with two new friends, entering a place that is literally hell.
This is one of the best Shane Ryan books. Full of horror and heart, action, and the return of Shane’s own brand of apocryphal humor.

Never disappointed..
Whenever I start a new Shane Ryan book, I know I'm going to experience the most demented and hideous behavior by ghosts and or humans, with Shane bringing his battle scarred quick wit, and his cigarette habit to the bitter end!

As Always, Perfect
I worried that Shane would not survive against Magister's artic cold. But with the help of Herbert and Ventura, he made it.

It was a wonderful read. I enjoyed the 2 new characters and hope they will be back.
