Written by a former intelligence analyst this novel was written before many things have taken place geopolitically, and its theories on asymmetrical warfare have now found their way into college text books. Ironically, several facets of the books geopolitical nature have come to light, as well one leader, who came back into power and has controlled that power, since the book was originally published.Russia and China have formed an alliance. The Dragon will meet the Eagle. This book is World War 3.The darkness rises… For years, the United States of America has been the world’s only superpower. Its might and power have been used to bring peace throughout much of the world. From Bosnia to Iraq, the colors of red, white and blue have risen to the challenge to defend our very freedom. Enemies of America have now arisen. The enemies of our fathers have returned. The battles of yesterday are at our doorstep. A new axis is darker and more powerful than ever before. A new unimaginable weapon has been unveiled and used. The truth behind terrorists groups such as Al Qaeda and rogue nations like China is revealed. The battle for tomorrow has begun. Are we prepared to fight the battle for the right to live? More than a book, more than a story….Fiction meets reality? The theories found in Assassin's Mace by Evan Pedone were featured in David Scott's book "The Chinese Century-The Challenge to Global Order". David Scott credits Evan Pedone with his unique views on Asymmetrical Warfare. David Scott is a Senior Lecturer at prestigious Brunel Four out of Five StarsTom Clancy Jr.? By Scott Schoeneberger Assassin's Mace, is outside of Red Storm Rising the best Fictional War Book, I've read. Although I am new to this typical genre of the fanatical WW3 scenarios. This book keeps you grounded in reality, while dipping into the future technology that so many experts believe we are working on. Although a lot of his ideas for future military hardware are a very exciting part to add to this book, they do seem very far fetched. As far as the reading aspect of this book, it is very exciting and very hard to put down. I alone finished it in less than 8hrs. I think it would have been ever greater had he decided to get a little more into the ground wars going on across the globe, instead of the complete description of almost every square inch of our secret facilities. In all I think this book is a most read for WW3 fanatics like myself. It opens your eyes to a whole other side of what future wars will be like that is not shown and advertised on American or any TV for the that matter.About the To learn more about Evan Pedone visit Pedone will be running a contest and one lucky winner will receive an Assassin's Mace Cover Picture signed by Evan Pedone."I got the idea after I was contacted by a fan from the United Kingdom who requested a signed picture cover.
