Sometimes I can get over grammatical issues if a story is great, and can even enjoy silliness in a story if it is beautifully written. Unfortunately, this was not only written using atrocious grammar, but the story was almost a parody of "what I think is selling in MC romance today". It was not an editing issue...editing can catch grammatical mistakes, but the basic sentence structure was something I would not accept from a fifth grader. The point of view was unclear, the paragraphs and sentences lacked linear connections and the story was riddled with constant non-sequiturs that didn't relate to the prior sentence or paragraph. And the dialogue in the sex scenes was the cheesiest porn that I can recall reading...and I like a raunchy, dirty-talking scene. This was a book written so that it could include the tropes of MC members who use club whores almost constantly like pieces of meat and a virgin heroine who saves herself (because she was busy and then embarrassed about being a virgin!!!!).

Loved the story. This could have been a five star book had it not been for the endless typos, grammatical errors, punctuation errors and open ended sentences. Seriously? Did anybody check this before publishing? It is so distracting when you're reading. Completely wrong words are used if not missed. You have a great story here but you seriously need a good editor to help you. Please also consider not putting an epilogue in your next book as an epilogue is to further comment and conclude your story, not start your next book. Believe it or not, I look forward to your next book because I believe you're gonna be one helluva a writer.

Let's eat, grandma.
Punctuation is very important.
I would have added an extra star if the book had been edited.

The writing style is horrible with so many spelling and grammatical errors. Also, wtf is Devils Control with no apostrophe?!

Zero had sex with a club whore when they were on a break. What a pussy!

First Yes there are grammar issues and misuse of words; but I found that it did not take away from the story. Inferno is the president of a local MC while Baby Blu is his young college babysitter. Misunderstandings abound and they separate for six years. Baby Blu returns to town and its time to resolve this "thing" between she and Inferno. I thought Baby Blue was a bit immature but she works its out. Interesting story with good balance of MC drama as well as romantic drama. Good Read.

Loved the story line

Loved the story line

I would have given a higher rating. However, I had found so many spelling errors and many other issues that took alot of pleasure from it. Looking forward to Linc and cassie's story.

Good story. Terrible editing.

I loved the story line , and I really would've loved to give it 5 stars, but come on, it had too many typos, grammatical errors, punctuation errors , which is distracting when you're reading.

Nice try but Needs work

The author has promise, but the writing needs major work.
Nice story line but the slang is UK, not American. For a book set in Louisiana, there is very little detail about that unique state, let alone nuances of a motorcycle club.
There needs to be a major review of grammar, spelling, slang use, and sentence structure.
Learn what a comma splice is correct them. Take a writing class and learn from it. Get a professional editor and take their advice. Learn from them.
Right now, this hints of a wanna be writer with absolutely zero real life writing experience.
Ending is very abrupt. Nice try, but needs work all around.

I've tried n tried to finish this book but I just cant be bothered.

Thank god I read her last series first the river demkns which is well written

I guess this shows the author writing development. This bring her first book

Its disastrous! Its like its written in fast forward pace, everything progresses super fast constantly, instead love, terrible corn dialogue and the writing is laboured. No pace, its just lacking. Then add in all the numerous spelling n grammar errors means this book is extremely poor.

Nope too many books to read to continue

Needs to be edited. I don't really know what to say. Sex for no particular reason gets kind of boring.... 90% through was skimming the sex scenes going blah blah blah...! Going to buy book 2 maybe will improve

I found the story line good, though the writing style felt a bit unpolished - however I will read the next book, as I felt there is room for growth in the story telling and I did like the characters.

Would have loved to give the story 5 stars as I really enjoyed, however there were a few things that just made it drop down to 3 1/2 stars for me.

Grammar, punctuation, spelling. Sometimes it was really difficult to understand what was happening or who was speaking. Sentences sometimes felt like they were started and forgotten. Clothing changed immediately. At one point Inferno is in a pair of jeans, and then the jeans have magically become leather pants. Baby Blu (cute name!) I was confused on due to word usage. This is Louisiana (or so I was lead to believe) yet she used terminology for UK or Australia (I'm from the states so forgive me I'm not sure which country uses words like "Trolly" and "Lolly" and such). We're told towards the end that she came to live with her father at the age of 14; so, why? Where did she come from? Even some of the guys would use the slang "Mate", that's not something that's often used and whenever I have heard it it's normally from a creep trying to be cool (my ex for instance). Just little things that could have been worked on to really bring the story to the 5 stars for me.

I am SERIOUSLY (caps here!) looking forward to the next book; Linc and Cassie. Oh my goodness from the epilogue. I want to beat him so bad. Can't wait to see it in August and all the others after reading the Devils Comfort MC prologue. Each little bit into the characters from the book sparked my interest.

If you read other reviews you know what the main problem with this book was. I would have given it 4 stars if it wasn't for the spelling and grammar mistakes. There were some laughable ones:

No one, but me sees that delectable part of her autonomy . Autonomy?? Hahahaha!

It's a pity because I really enjoyed it! But I am really looking forward to Cassie's story. I think it could be awesome!

This is a good story. Just poor editing. (I don't normally shout out editing issues like this. But there are just so many issues within that need to be fixed).
In all seriousness, it just needs to be edited and it will be great! I ignored some, but there were too many...distractions for me to fully get into the story the way an avid reader fully enjoys. I'd definitely reread it if it was to get properly edited.
A 2.5 rating rounded to a solid 3.

I really thought Baby Blu was a bit immature throughout the book and the back and forth between them was a bit exhausting not to mention that Inferno is a man-whore who wants unprotected sex just after being with yet another whore 😡 and don’t get me started on the little break where he missed her so badly he went right back to whores....grrrr

All things considered it was a good read and I'll continue the series

“Devil's Comfort MC” is a complete mess - it is badly written, shows no evidence of ever being edited, and is just unpleasant.
“A few years ago the building had been abandon.”
“Crabby, who recently had being a prospect,”
That's an example, chosen more or less at random, from the first two pages.
It is just 48 pages long and I pulled the plug after just 17 of them.
Life is too short to read something this bad.

I thought this book was ok, some things confused me. It seemed like in parts of the book, the story would be telling then stop. Also she took most of the blame for the problem with their relationship but he took none, she seemed to not have any back bone, now it seems the next book will have cheating, which is a let down. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

It had potential.....

This could have been a good story. The astronomical number of spelling and grammatical errors ruined it for me. Did the author pass English class in high school? Reading the errors on every single page I would think not. It made it difficult to follow the story, that's how bad it is.

This book had the potential to be a great read. What let it down was the endless spelling mistakes and poor grammar. It also felt like there were great gaping holes in the story with occasional extras thrown in. I persevered because I wanted to know how the story ended. I think the author needs to proof read more thoroughly.

Setting and Grammar Failure

The story line was excellent. That being said if you are going to write a book set in Louisiana, please please please do not use British English. A little research into American English with emphasis on Southern and or Cajun dialect would have gone a long way. Also proof reading or an editing partner are necessities before publishing.

Yes there are a lot of editing issues, so I'm not even going to mention them.

I enjoyed the story, but the "jumps" drove me crazy. For example, she sees Inferno and then she's preparing for their date..WTH? When did that happen???

....and the end (for the next book) OH NO HE DIDN'T!! Definitely going to read that one.

First, let me say, I liked the story. However, I just could not get past the grammatical and spelling errors. The worst part was I had a hard time figuring out who was talking because of the lack of punctuation. Serious editing needed to be done before sending this out to the readers. If it had not been for that, I would have given this a better rating.

Inferno baby... Outstanding

Trigger Warnings.
I've read this book several years ago, so returning to this story was just a catch up with books I'd enjoyed. If you want alpha bad boy biker, this is it. Blu and her drama queen theatrics, Inferno and his MC dilemma, add in a teenager to the mix, plus alot of sex. Outstanding.

2.5 - This book was rather hard to follow due spelling and grammatical errors galore! In some places you had to flat out guess what the characters were trying to say because the sentences made no sense. Hoping if there is to be a second book to this, it is better edited.
