In Gospel-centred Work you’ll discover how the good news about Jesus transforms the way we think about our work in surprising and practical ways.
Use this book on your own or with a group of colleagues to discover how we serve a working God; how Christian belief transforms the central problems we experience with work; and how the workplace can be a place for long-term effective Gospel witness.
Suitable for any Christian who works, whether in the home or in the workplace, in paid-ministry or in the secular workforce.

Every book I’ve read & worked through in this series has been exceptional. I appreciate the format & content alike. These are terrific for a biblical work through both personally & in a group setting.
Christian books about work give me the shivers, because they remind me of those Christian men's conferences, apparently men are interested in three things in life, or need talks on only three areas, work, marriage and sex. They seem to be the three themes that men's conferences rotate in, along with a bit if the we are men so we are grunt grunt macho. The other issue I had was this was The Good Book Company, why say something in depth in 300 pages when you can just skim the surface and say it in 30 pages. They never seem to want to plum the depths of anything, preferring just a surface overview, I don't think they trust their readers can stick with a book that is north of 100 pages or so. This one then was more of an interactive, look up these verses, etc and made for groups to bang on together. What annoyed me was the stories that started each chapter, that came to a point with what are they going to do next, and then nothing, apparently you are meant too decide from the material in the rest of the chapter. The principles were sound but obvious, but really if you are struggling with work IK don't know if this book will help that much, sometimes you go to work because of the one Bible verse that says if you don't work you don't eat, and that is enough. So a somewhat helpful book, but too shallow and too many simple answers to more complex questions.
Bueno. Me entretuve bastante.
