Very informative picture book about the building of Washington DC and its famous buildings and monuments. Great to use with older students to explain how are capital city is laid out and why and its history. It might be a little text-heavy for younger kids but they would enjoy the beautiful pictures.

Would be a good book for text set/classroom library. This book talks about the capital building and how it became and who came up with the design. This book came from President George Bush Presidential Library and Museum in Texas.
