Always love this series, Elizabeth’s character evolution has been really interesting, Chicken Little too. Morio’s drip is very raver chic lol

Rooster Fighter, Vol 8 by Shu Sakuratani begins with the gang being attacked by a possessed Chicken Little. When she snaps out of it, she is full of guilt and runs off. Keiji, Keisuke, and Elizabeth must head to Mt. Fuji to find the Righteous Master, both to save the roosters’ father, and to help Keiji control his newly awakened Righteous Egg.

This eighth volume brings tension to a new level. I really am looking forward to how the next volume handles everything

Morio wearing clothes, especially the outfit he chose, is seriously weirder than him running around naked. He is off an a side mission with Chicken Little and the other birds are off on their own detour from the main plot. Feels like this story is never going to end, but it is silly and fun, so I'm not going anywhere.

Following the wrap up of the intense battle in the previous volume, this installment is a bit dry. It features a setup for the next major arc of the story and the obstacle the cast will need to overcome. Entertaining enough but like I said a bit dry.

A really solid volume. Two very strong and engaging plot lines that I am looking forward to continuing with. Also love the Chicken Little and Morio team up. I am still worried for Chicken Little and her inner demon.
