The Smurfs Archives is an adventure series that features humor, mystery and lots of smurfy action.
The Smurfs Archives Volume 2 continues to publish The Smurfs in their original chronological order while featuring insightful intros and historical context from legendary Smurfologist, Matt Murray. This volume begins with the 1964 story, The Smurf King and also introduces Smurfette from the 1967 story, The Smurfette. With 304 pages of Smurf stories and insightful, historical context, this is a must-have for any Smurf fans.
Again, this book is a wonderful archive and presentation of the original Smurfs stories in order. The additional content is great, and the book itself is of high quality.
The only slight downside is that many of the stories in this are near identical to the previous book, as this has the original mini comics reprinted in the full size smurf comic. Slightly longer and better, but pretty much the same. However, there was still some original content, including the debut of Smurfette.
