Together, they’ve recreated the beef bourguignon and ketchup from Clark and Lois’s first date, Cyborg’s lucky game day potato skins, and J’onn’s Chocos. Martha’s even recreated Plurb, which she hears is wonderfully awful. She wasn’t quite ready to taste that one herself.

August 1, 2025No rating because it's a cookbook and how would you even rate that without making everything in it, but this was super cute!! I came into it hoping for some deep-cut recipes like beef bourguignon with ketchup (Superman's canonical favorite food!) and Green Arrow's super-spicy chili and was very happy to see them included alongside a good mix of Superman-themed/colored foods, usual farm and city fare, and other comic universe foods like Big Belly Burgers and Chocos! Definitely took a pic of the tomato and bean soup recipe to try once it isn't hellishly hot out.

I'm just really charmed by how this is written from Martha's perspective. The phantom zone cookies though.
