The Knights of the True Cross begin a coordinated assault on Satan’s fortress. The lord of demons summons the powerful Asmodeus, the King of Lust, who relishes the chance to take on Shura. Osceola squares off with Amon, who doesn’t think much of the exorcists’ efforts. The battle provides an opportunity for Rin and Yukio to make an attempt to breach the gate, but getting through it is no easy task. With Shura and Osceola barely hanging on, desperate measures will be required...
3.5 stars. Chapters 146-150. It was an okay volume. Better than the previous now that the next battles have started and the plot is moving forward.
The artwork was amazing. The landscape was beautifully done. My favourite page was the one dedicated to the outside of the labyrinth ‘Satan’s Head’.
However, a lot of time was spent focusing on the battles with Iblis’s children Amon and Asmodeus. They were okay characters but didn’t really add much to the story? Considering that they very likely won’t be reoccurring characters.
I was annoyed that Shura was put against the demon of lust. Why is it always a female character against some sort of lust monster??
"You cracked my 10.8 karat enhanced emerald ring! It's chipped!" Idk why but this made me laugh lol.
"That day was the first time I saw you smile." 😭😭😭😭💔💔 Ahhh...that was so depressing.
"Why're you crying?" "I don't know! Maybe because you aren't, so I gotta do it for you!" 😭😭💔
I was not expecting to read about Lightning's backstory...I figured it wouldn't be revealed until later or never actually. But geez, he had it rough. I'm glad he was later taken care of by Osceola. It sucks that Osceola had to die though...

I still like this manga and it is a pleasure to see the remaining chapters adapted to the screen, but honestly, it has been losing steam.
I will even buy the volumes till the end, but unless there's some majore development going forward.. i mean... not even the "possible" death of a character is that impactful.
the arch knight from the mexico branch 🥺🫶🏼 this volume wrecked me—in the best possible way. every scene was a masterpiece, every emotion hit like a storm. i was on the edge of my seat, heart pounding, eyes wide. i’m not just excited for the next volume—i’m aching for it.
me gustó mucho but once again I’m biased, no espere llorar pero lo terminé haciendo pq me encanta sufrir por personajes aunque no los conozca tan bien.
