Summary: Driver Dee and Trusty, a school bus, get ready to go on their route to pick up the students for the first day of school, being mindful of safety as they go around town.

Comments: This is a darling little book for toddlers and preschoolers. The rhyming text and onomatopoeias make the book interesting and fun.

We love this sweet book about a caring bus and bus driver taking children safely to school. The kids show their appreciation in return. This is a positive, fun rhyming book with beautiful pictures. Both my one-year-old and my three-year-old (who is in preschool but I must drive her) love this book!

I think ages 3-6 would enjoy this best. It was a bit unrealistic though when Trusty the Bus waited if the child was running late or for the parent to give the child a hug!

A sweet story about a bus and bus driver who get their riders to school safely. Lovely, lyrical writing with a fun rhythm and rhyme!
