For fans of Jennifer Weiner and Helen Fielding, a debut contemporary women’s fiction novel about a woman in the country music industry navigating the ins and outs of friendship, love, jealousy, and life on tour.
Who knew a broken heel can change your life?
Though she has her dream job—finding new songs for singers in the booming country music industry—music executive Christine Matthews lives an unexciting life. That is, until a broken shoe sends her sprawling on the street right in front of Nashville singing sensation Austin Garrett’s tour bus, and Austin himself comes to her aid.
When Austin recognizes Christine as the woman who pitched him his recent number one hit, he invites her to be his date at the CMT Awards that night, and like that, Christine is catapulted from a life of solitude to the spotlight. Suddenly, she’s the subject of much speculation—and criticism. Some jealous fans think she’s not pretty or thin enough, and they begin to cyber-bully and body shame her.
But that’s not the only reason Christine thinks accepting Austin’s invitation to join him on tour and help him find another big hit might be a bad idea. She’s also developing feelings for his tour manager, Matt. And one of her online bullies has turned threatening, bringing up trauma from Christine’s past. Is the turmoil worth it? Or is her only real solution to walk away from all of it—even the man who might just be the love of her life?
This was a cute, likeable read about Christine, a song plugger (someone who finds songs for artists) and her involvement with Austin, a rising male country star and his tour entourage, including the tour manager, Matt. The author has worked in the country music industry for years and her familiarity with the topic really shows. I found the behind the scenes elements very interesting. So many moving parts in pulling a tour together!
While the country music industry was the foundation of the novel, the author wove several relevant and relatable issues into the story such as self-doubt, bullying, the insidiousness and negativity of social media, friendship, healing, and love. Both of the male characters that Christine becomes involved with are likeable and kind-hearted. There was some miscommunication in the relationship between Christine and Matt that went on a bit too long, in my view, but I was rooting for them. I also liked the positive platonic relationship between Christine and Austin.

3.25 out of 5 stars (rounded down) | Love on Tour by Lee Adams has my favorite trope - rockstar romance but with a twist! I loved this unique take as it is based in the country music industry but the love interest(s) are truly a moving target. On top of that, what I didn't expect, was to be invested in the suspense elements of this romance as the FMC is being targeted and stalked.
I had a great time reading this book but at times I did feel disconnected to the main character due to her "hot and cold" dynamics with both MMCs. In addition, I feel like the reader is thrown into these two circles that come together and because of that are lost on the existing dynamics and back stories.
I would be interested in additional books (which I think the ending lent itself too) to learn more about the additional friends.
I felt honored to have received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review!
Where do I even begin except to say that I am in love with this book!! From the very first pages this light-hearted and fun book grabbed my attention and made me smile.
While I figured out the "who done it" early on, that didn't matter one bit because that was only a tiny piece of a much larger story about so much more. It is a story of love, friendship, self-worth, healing, finding yourself and second chances, all wrapped up with moments that will make you laugh and feel warm and happy inside.
Set in Nashville, Love on Tour is the story of Christine, a song plugger who has a chance run in with Austin, an up-and-coming country music star. He recognizes her as the girl who pitched the song that has become his chart-topping hit. The two become fast friends, and as she searches for the next perfect song to pitch him, Austin invites her to join him on tour where she will have all access to him and the band...and the band manager Matt who she is crushing on. As Christine is thrust into the limelight, she is forced to fast her past as well as current threats from a stalker.
This book is a truly wonderful read, It was fast and fun. One I could not put down. I fell head over heels for the different characters who were so well developed that I felt like I was right there on the pages with them. The witty banter had me laughing out loud. While I loved the relationships between Christine and Matt and Christine and Juliana, it was "Chrissy" and Austin that stole the show!
For those that require trigger warnings, there is reference to bullying, sexual assault and rehab but nothing graphic.
This swoon worthy debut novel by author Lee Adams is the perfect summer read and. I can't wait to see what she has in store for readers next!
Thank you to Booksparks for the ARC of this book to read and review. It was the perfect way to kick off the summer!
Love On Tour, by Lee Adams, has romance, mystery, and adventure woven into its pages. The main character, Christine, finds herself in a love triangle torn between an uprising country music star (Austin) or his manager (Matt). The story turns suspenseful when someone starts threatening Christine to stop her involvement with the country music star or her life is in danger. Adventure is written throughout the novel as Christine travels on the tour bus with Austin’s band, and manager. Lee brings her knowledge and experience of the country music industry to produce an intriguing, unforgettable book. You will enjoy reading it.
I’m very conflicted about this book: If I had read this as fan fiction in 2012, I would have definitely appreciated it. But, honestly, I think that as a book in 2025 it doesn't work: maybe as a YA it could find its target, but at the moment I don't think it falls into the adult romance category.
The beginning was too fast paced and very unrealistic: Do we really believe it's possible for a music star to pick up a semi-unknown girl off the side of the road and take her to an awards show? Or that a thirty-year-old falls in love at first sight with a handsome man, experiencing the typical reactions of a teenager? The insta connection is kinda weird and inexplicable, as it’s the whole relationship between the FMC and the tour manager: how could they fall in love if their interactions are very limited and… flat? There’s no chemistry behind the lust filled one.
On the unrealistic note, I need to mention the fact that the first time Austin kisses Christine, he does so without her having actually expressed her consent or shown interest and she doesn't have any kind of negative reaction, which would have been justified given her past: a past that, in the last 10% of the book, influences the relationship with the man she claims to love.
Overall I found the characters to be quite stereotypical and full of clichés, without any deep characterization that made it possible to identify with them or find a connection.
The plot also presents, in my opinion, several critical issues: identifying and solving "the mystery" is quite simple and, honestly, from the very beginning it would have been quite solvable with surveillance cameras that however nobody thinks of installing, finding it easier to move condos and start a self-defense course. It’s just too forced to be the life of a grown woman!
In short, I appreciate the author for wanting to bring a novel based heavily on the music industry and life on the road, but I think it needs some deep editing work.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
If you are looking for a fun book that cannot be put down, Love on Tour is the perfect read for you. Adams, with her abundant knowledge of the country music industry, captures her audience with love triangle AND a mystery, making it a read you can't forget.
Even though ordinary people are not finding "love on tour," the characters are relatable and have experiences that make the reader feel connected to book. You will fall in love with even the worst of characters!
Thank you, Lee Adams, for the ARC! Such a good read!
Christine Matthews prides herself on being a matchmaker. Only her talent doesn’t involve romance as much as it brings together the right musician with just the right song. And she’s damn good at it. If only her success in the music industry could mend her broken spirit, brought on by childhood traumas and the loss of the man she loved.
A broken heel, prompting a stumble on the side of the road, creates an opportunity for Christine to come face-to-face with Austin Garrett, one of Nashville’s hottest new stars. Austin sees something special in Christine, and a friendship blossoms.
With her head still spinning, Christine is thrust into a world of celebrity and all the glamour that comes with it. Not only that, but Matt, Austin’s tour manager, stirs something within Christine that may just mend her broken heart.
It isn’t long before Christine encounters the negative side of fame as possessive fans seek to discredit her presence within Austin’s life, something they see as romantic, regardless of the truth. But how far will these fans take their jealousy?
Life for Christine becomes a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs throughout this fun and often nail-biting story. I loved this book. Lee Adams did a great job bringing her expertise into this industry, creating endearing characters and a story that was hard to put down.
I had such a fantastic time reading Love on Tour. Adams uses her truly remarkable and landscape-changing career as a record promoter to bring us all into the vibrant world of country music. It is clear reading the novel that Adams knows the industry like the back of her hand, and loves it with all her heart. Love on Tour kept me on the edge of my seat, especially towards the end. Without giving too much away, this novel is as much a romance novel as it is a gripping mystery. Having the opportunity to read an ARC was an immense honor and I’m grateful to have read this story before the world falls in love with it. Thank you to Adams and to SheWritesPress for the ARC!
I loved this book! It was a fun, easy, and lighthearted read. I read it in one day and it captured me from the first page. I appreciated the fact that Lee got “right to it”. I sometimes think that it takes so long to build characters but, Lee found great ways to tell Christine’s backstory throughout the book without wasting too much time at the beginning. Think of it this way:sometimes movies start in what seems like the middle and use flashbacks to explain certain situations. Lee does this beautifully by introducing Christine in the present and weaving in her past to explain her current behaviors. This book would be appropriate for teens as Lee uses very little profanity. My only complaint is that it ended and I was left wanting more.
Great job on your first novel, Lee! I hope we see Christine and the gang again!!
What I like: From seat fillers to how exactly tour buses work, I can tell Lee knows the ins and out of the music scene. Including what exactly a song plugger is (apparently, they discover songwriters and match their songs to artists who can sing them). Forced proximity is also always a fun trope.
What I don't: Austin is not my favorite, with his womanizing and refusal to call Christine by her preferred name. But I'm not a huge fan of Matt either and the insta-love that seems to be happening there.
Once I started reading, I couldn’t put this book down! The writing is very witty and I was invested in the plot from the very first chapters. I fell in love with the characters and the author had a very knowledge insight into the country music industry. Overall, I felt this was an easy read and a PERFECT book to put on your summer reading list.
Loved this book! I've been following Lee Adams from the beginning, and this is her best work yet! Great plotting, interesting characters, and pacing that keeps you wanting to keep going. Loved the insights into the music industry.
What a strange way to end the book, but still I really enjoyed it. It was a solid read with an interesting look into the songwriting industry, offering some real insight into what it might look like behind the scenes.
There was something that annoyed me though. Christine is a grown woman, yet she struggles so much with expressing her romantic feelings and taking action. I get that past trauma can affect communication, but still, it was frustrating at times.
And don’t even get me started on Phoebe. I think the author tried to give her redeeming qualities but the harsh stuff she said and the way she acted around Christine outweighed those moments. I just couldn’t warm up to her. Truthfully speaking, I couldn’t stand her.
Overall it’s a nice read. Definitely one for readers who enjoy music industry based stories.
Ever wonder what it’s like to be on tour with a major recording artist? This book’s got you covered. Christine, running late for a music awards show, does a face plant in front of Austin, a rising star in country music. Which leads to him inviting her to be his date for the evening. Soon Christine is joining the tour bus to help Austin find his next hit song…and falling in love with the tour manager! I loved all of the insider details into life on tour and also the fact that our heroine’s love interest was actually the manager and not the mega star. And who knew that it is actually someone’s job to help singers pick the songs they’re going to record? (It’s called being a song plugger). A fun read for country music fans. I received an advanced copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
Who doesn’t love a Country Music Romance? I was excited to get an ARC of Love on Tour via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed the behind-the-scenes look at the country music industry and you can tell the author has plenty of experience (she’s been active in the industry since the 1980s and VP of Promotion at Broken Bow Records since 2007).
I like the FMC, Christine, she’s relatable and I think her job as a song plugger sounds interesting. I respected how she didn’t try and use her friendship with Austin to further her career even though her boss was trying to encourage her to.
Austin’s really fun and it would be great for him to get his own HEA although it’ll take one helluva woman to tame him. I was rooting for Christine and Matt from the very beginning, there’s a definite chemistry between them.
The mystery of Christine’s stalker kept me engaged but I felt like it was resolved a little too quickly which is why I gave Love on Tour 4 x Stars.
This is a good choice for someone who wants a fast, “celeb” romance with drama sprinkled in.
I enjoyed the musical/Nashville aspects of this story, but I think my favorite part of this entire story was the relationship between “Don’t call me Chrissy” Christine and Austin. He helped her see herself in a different light and that was refreshing (even though Austin is portrayed for a good portion of this story as the stereotypical drunken frat boy musician on the rise). Other than that though, all of the character “miscommunication” in this story started to drive me nuts towards the end. I found myself saying out loud multiple times, “just talk to him already ffs!” I was glad there was at least the start of character growth by the end of the story for some of the characters. Phoebe, however, I think was a terrible character with no redeeming qualities. Even when she was “vulnerable” she was still unlikeable.
Not a bad story overall, just slightly frustrating at times. It is still worth a read if you’re just looking for a quick “dramatic” romance.
Thank you to NetGalley and She Writes Press for the eARC for my honest opinion.
ARC Review – Thank you Book Sparks for the gifted ARC of Love on Tour
I read two books about country music stars back to back. I don’t even know who I am anymore. 😂 However, this one had a very different vibe from Sing Me Home. The country music star, Austin, in this book is a lot more wild. He is kind of your stereotypical superstar who parties a lot and gets himself into trouble, but he has the sweetest heart.
I liked that Austin was not Christine’s love interest even though he kept trying to get her to fall for him. Christine was actually crushing on Austin’s manager Matt, which was a fun twist. It did feel like she crushed on him for a long time though before acting on it, and it was borderline too long for me. We are talking super slow burn here!
It was really interesting to follow them on a tour and see everything that goes into performing concerts. The author, Lee Adams, spent many years in the music industry and her expertise really shines through in this book. I feel like I learned a lot of new things while reading this one. For instance, I didn’t know there was a job where someone was basically a matchmaker for songs and singers. It is called a song plugger and it is the FMC’s job.
This book was a little on the slow side for me and I struggled reading. I wish we had gotten to see more of Christine and Matt because the few interactions we did get were so good. There was a little bit of suspense with a crazed fan harassing Christine. Nothing too crazy happens though, so don’t worry about the book being scary.
Love on Tour was able to incorporate real life issues (cyber bullying, body shaming, self-esteem issues, and a past trauma) and bring them to light, which is something I love seeing in books. I think it helps people to learn more about these issues and realize how they can affect other people. However, I felt like it was almost focused on too much in this book to the point that it bordered on annoying. I tried to look at it from the flip side and see if the character would have it be such a large portion of their life and it is definitely a possibility, but it was a lot for me in a romance book.
*Read if you love*

Who knew a broken heel and bad fall would result in falling in love?
Though she has her dream job—finding new songs for singers in the booming country music industry—music executive Christine Matthews lives an unexciting life. The pacing took a moment to get used to but overall this was a fun, summer read and I liked the tie to the music industry and Nashville.
The chemistry was there for me with Austin and Matt and the ending took me by surprise a little but overall, I enjoyed this book and think it's a cute addition to the summer TBR.
💭 ⓂⓎ ⓉⒽⓄⓊⒼⒽⓉⓈ I had fun reading Love on Tour! As a country music fan, I loved the behind the scenes look at the industry and really enjoyed the witty banter between Christine and Austin. The story had a little mystery woven in and I appreciated the focus on trauma healing toward the end. I also really liked Matt’s character. He added such a steady, supportive presence to the story. It was not your typical celeb romance where the FMC falls head over heels for the star, which I liked, and the friendships throughout the book were a nice touch. Some parts did feel a bit repetitive and there was more miscommunication than I usually enjoy. It also leaned a little too insta love for me. But overall it was an entertaining read with some refreshing angles for this trope.

Thank you to Booksparks, She Writes Press, and the author for the copy in exchange for an honest review!
This book was very entertaining. It had its moments where I was loving it, and others where I was rolling my eyes, but overall it was fun. And it was mostly saved by country music star/himbo Austin Garrett.
The first 2/3rds were solid and had me struggling to put it down. There was a point where it lost steam, and the slow burn felt a bit too slow.
It follows Christine, who is a song plugger, someone who finds songs for musicians to perform. She meets Austin outside an award show after she arrives late and the doors are locked, and he invites her to go with him. He recognizes her from a meeting where she plugged a song for him. She meets his team including his tour manager, Matt, who Christine instantly feels a connection with. She is invited to go on tour for a few days. This opens the door for cyber bullying, and reinforces her self esteem and body issues, and opens back up trauma from her youth.
While I think most of this was handled well, there were times Christine veered into “I’m not like the other girls” territory, which was a bit of a let down. The romance was so slow it was almost non existent. But there was more to the story than just the romance. Mostly what stalking does to a person, and finding out who’s doing it. I don’t know if Austin really counts as a side character, but he was the best part of this book.
✨️Thank you so much to Booksparks for sending me a gifted copy of this book as part of the Summer Reading Challenge! #SRC2025
This was a fun peek into the world of country music!
Christine discovered the number 1 song for country singer Austin Garrett, and they strike up a friendship. He even invites her on tour with him. But internet fans are vicious and their nasty comments about Christine take a dark turn when a stalker leaves her threatening messages. Christine ultimately has to decide what's most important: her friendship with Austin and the feelings she's developing for his tour manager, or taking the safe route and distancing herself from him altogether.
I enjoyed the fact that the romance in this book centered around Christine's feelings for Matt the tour manager instead of Austin the star. It was a refreshing take on a celebrity romance. The stalker plot kept me flipping pages fast, to figure out who it was. I had so many outlandish ideas about who it could be!
There was definitely a lot of miscommunication in the book, between Christine and Matt but also with Phoebe, Christine's friend who began dating Austin. She was mean, and not a good friend to Christine. Austin was a little childish, but showed a lot of growth throughout the book. And Christine showed the most character growth as she dealt with issues she had been fighting with since High School. I was so proud of her by the end of the book, and her sweet friendship with Austin stole the show.
If you like celebrity romance with a bit of mystery, this would be a good one to pick up! Thank you to Booksparks for gifting me a copy as part of their Summer Reading Challenge!
Love on Tour is a heartwarming tale of Christine, a determined song plugger, and Austin, a rising country music star, who form an unlikely friendship after he recognizes her as the girl who pitched his chart-topping hit. As Christine joins Austin on tour, she must navigate her growing feelings for the band manager, Matt, all while confronting her past and dealing with a stalker.
This book is a must-read! From start to finish, it's a wild ride filled with lovable characters, and hilarious dialogue. The author's talent for crafting relatable characters and witty banter is on full display, making this a truly unforgettable read.
I appreciate Christine's character, particularly her relatability and intriguing profession as a song plugger. Her refusal to leverage her friendship with Austin for career advancement, even when her boss suggested it, demonstrates her integrity and strong personal values.
Austin's charming personality makes him an ideal candidate for his own HEA, but he'll need someone extraordinary to complement him. Meanwhile, Christine and Matt's connection was palpable from the beginning, making them a compelling couple to root for.
Please check trigger warnings: we discuss bullying, sexual assault, and rehab, but handle these subjects with care and sensitivity.
I chose LOVE ON TOUR because of the blurb I read on NetGalley – comparing a story to Jennifer Weiner’s books is a no-brainer for me. OF COURSE I’m going to request it. That comparison set up expectations that couldn’t be fulfilled. I believe this is classified as a rom-com but honestly it was more of a new adult story. I really, really wanted to love this story. For me, it was a 3 star read. Christine (not Chrissy) deserves to find her path and to be rewarded for it. What happened instead is that she doesn’t know how to effectively communicate, she allows past hurts to fester and then invites those people to wound her again, her friendships are NOT healthy ANDDDDDDDD she can’t be honest with the guy she really really likes. All very new adult. Would I recommend this book to someone who is a fan of country music? Absolutely. The behind the scenes look is amazing. Would I recommend this to someone who is a fan of one woman who is interested in two men? Of course! Would I recommend this book to someone who is looking for a light, easy read? INDEED. Again, I think it was the set up and expectations that fogged up my view of the book.
Did I request this book because the title is the same as Harry Styles’ last major tour? Yes. Yes I did. And honestly no regrets. In reading a different review before starting this book, I saw someone describe this as fan fiction that was not particularly well written. While I agree that it gave me fan fic vibes, but in a good way, a nostalgic way, I disagree that it wasn’t well written. I thought it was average. That sounds so mean to say, but it wasn’t bad writing, but it wasn’t particularly amazing writing either. It was a pretty easy read. Reading this gave me the feeling that I was back in high school reading Harry Styles/1D fan fic and texting my friends about it. I was never sad or cranky or not actually wanting to read when I was reading this book. But I chalk a lot of that up to the nostalgia. If you weren’t reading fics when you were younger/now, you might not feel the same way. I can understand how others were feeling about this one not reading well/like someone would expect it to. I enjoyed the story. There were times I was wanting a little more, but overall it was good. I enjoyed the characters and connected with them. Really our FMC is living everyone’s dream. She gets to go on tour with an up and coming artist and is surrounded by hot men? Sign me up. The twist was totally unexpected, I definitely did not see it coming. Which is good! The expected villain was set up so well. I tend to not want to let stories go, and as such usually go for longer books. But I think this one was the perfect length. I didn’t feel like we were missing anything, or like it drug on unnecessarily. I’d give this book a solid 2.75-3 stars. It is a low level spice book/mostly closed door.
I did receive a review copy of Love on Tour, and am leaving this review honestly and voluntarily.
Unfortunately this is one of those instances where the description of the book is better than the actual book itself. It had so much promise but the writing in this one seemed a bit off. It didn't really flow properly and came off a little clunky. The pacing threw me off also, it kind of felt like you were dropped in the middle of a story and things were moving so quickly, especially in the first few chapters, that it didn't seem natural or believable in the slightest. I also dislike when things are overly explained for the audience's benefit disguised as dialogue between characters.
None of the characters are particularly likable and I didn't find myself rooting for any of them. I hated all of Christine's friends (one even says to her at one point "safety is sometimes overrated" which... what??"), and I felt zero connection to her, Matt or Austin, nor did I feel her connection with either one of them.
This book had so much potential. To tie in a love story with the workings of the music industry. It could have been really great. But it was just really disappointing.
Love on tour is that perfect escape when you need a fast, fun romance with music, friends, and a twist of mystery. It was a delightful distraction that whisked me away from my worries - just what I needed and a whole lot of fun!
What a blast I had with Christine, Austin, Matt, and Julianna! Set against the dazzling backdrop of Nashville, this book is a country music lover’s dream. But even if country music isn't your jam, you'll be charmed by the witty banter and the strong bonds of friendship. The slow-burning romance, which felt authentic even in the music industry setting, and the intriguing mystery came together to make a highly entertaining read.
Fun Fact: Author Lee Adams works in the Country Music world. In fact, she is a member of the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.
Thank you @Booksparks and @leeadamsbbr for this gifted book. This is my third book in the Booksparks Summer Reading Challenge, and I loved it! #SRC2025 #saddleupwithbooksparks
This debut blew me away! It takes off from the very first chapter and really doesn’t slow down. I read it so quickly! Christine is a song plugger (I honestly didn’t know this existed, but of course now that I do, makes total sense 😁), who has a high-heel mishap out the CMAs. When the man that comes to her rescue is none other than country superstar Austin Garrett, her life is changed in some pretty awesome ways. Unfortunately, it ends up being changed in some not-great ways as well. I’m not going to mention these because I don’t want to give anything away, as is definitely a huge piece of the story.
Love on Tour is written by a country music exec, so there is so much back stage knowledge filtered throughout the story, which made the story so much richer.
I loved the dynamic between Christine and Austin, and the dynamic between Christine and Matt even more. Christine’s friends, as well as Austin’s band, play a big role in the story as well which I loved. This was such a great read. I hope we get lots more from Lee Adams!
Love on Tour by Lee Adams is a sparkling and emotionally rich debut that hits all the right notes—romance, resilience, and real-life vulnerability. Set against the glitz and chaos of the country music world, it follows Christine Matthews, a relatable heroine who finds herself thrust into fame, heartbreak, and self-discovery after one unexpected moment on a Nashville street.
Adams beautifully captures the highs and lows of modern womanhood balancing ambition, self-worth, and the complicated search for love. Christine’s journey through body shaming, online bullying, and the pressure of public scrutiny is both timely and empowering, while the chemistry between her and the charming tour manager, Matt, will have readers rooting for her happiness until the final page.
Filled with humor, heart, and hope, Love on Tour is an inspiring reminder that sometimes life’s detours lead you exactly where you’re meant to be. Perfect for fans of Jennifer Weiner, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and anyone who believes in second chances and finding your voice.
Huge thanks to Lee Adams and She Writes Press/S&S for the early ARC! 💌
Christine Matthews is a music executive whose chance fall in front of rising star Austin Garrett lands her in the world of a major country music tour. Throw in cyberbullying, past trauma, identity struggles, and a complicated crush on his tour manager and you’ve got a fast-paced, emotional trip through fame’s highs and pitfalls. 🎤💔
The concept career woman catapulted into the spotlight is fun and energetic, and the industry insights felt real and refreshing. But I fully expected to feel a deeper connection with the central romance, and the love triangle and speed of emotional arcs sometimes undercut the chemistry for me.
That said, it’s still a smart, heartfelt ride with a lot of emotional moments and a hopeful ending. 🌟
A solid 3.5 stars worth your checkout if you love stories about music, trauma, growth, and grit.
🎵 Love On Tour hits all the right notes with its vibrant depiction of the Nashville music scene, offering an enjoyable blend of romance, industry drama, and suspense. Christine’s journey from low-profile music executive to unexpected tabloid sensation makes for a compelling premise, and the added stalker subplot adds an intriguing edge.
While the celebrity romance is fun, the plot relies heavily on the miscommunication trope, which made the relationship drama feel a bit drawn out. I also wished for a clearer narrative direction beyond Christine’s romantic entanglements. Still, the lively country music backdrop and the touch of celebrity glamour make this an entertaining read for fans of music-themed romances.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 stars) – A light, enjoyable romance with a Nashville twist, perfect for readers who love a little star-studded drama with their love stories.
