This was seriously adorable and cute and I am LOVING this series so far. Please ignore the troublesome title, this is not what it sounds like. It is serious at moments, but it is a sweet, slow romance as the MCs get to know one another. I am honestly loving it and recommend it heartily if you enjoy sweet and slow romances with a bit of the supernatural and coincidence thrown in. I love the artwork, I LOVE the MC H (SUCH a CinnaRoll) and the storyline is progressing nicely, not too quickly or too slowly.

5, I am down with this series so far, stars.

My thanks to NetGalley and VIZ Media LLC for an eARC of this book to read and review.

Thanks to NetGalley and VIZ Media for the ARC.

An omnibus edition of volumes 5 and 6. By this point, Hades is finally admitting to himself that he has feelings for Colette, and has to handle his jealousy over her. I was unashamedly giddy over that part. It's still very cute, and I like the direction that all the characters are heading, even minor ones.

This series just continues to get better and remains my favourite manga series to date!
I love how I am invested in every God's backstory and I feel like they're all relatable and sweet. What the God of wine said did hurt my heart though. Like one day Colette's gonna forget about Hades.... NO. I really hope she becomes a God or something because I can't bear for them to be apart one day-like that genuinely hurts me. Like Hades and colette and maomao and jinshi are two favourite ships, like it's genuinely so cute. And I feel like even though its only been 6 volumes but I feel like I can genuinely "buy" the romance if that makes sense. Like it wasn't like Insta Love or anything-like they genuinely just love each other for who they are as A PERSON. AHHHH!!!
I found the scene where Colette felt insecure about the STUPID goddess swarming Hades so sad. And I was so happy when Hades STOOD UP FOR HIS WOMAN. WHAT A MAN.
I am also definitely invested in the romance between colette's eldest brother and eldest sister (THEY'RE ORPHANS FROM DIFFERENT FAMILIES OKAY!?!?!?) I will admit though, kind of questionable so I'm hesitantly following along I guess.
The only reason why I didn't rate this 5 stars is because I found that the 6th volume didn't quite reach that level for me but the last part of the fifth volume was TEA. It was genuinely amazing and i loved every single interaction between Colette and Hades.
ALSOOO the character development in each character is so peak. I also love how much Cera loves Itan... its so cute!

I received an ARC copy via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

First major story arc is Colette tending to Dionysus, who has fallen ill with a cold and more or less forced to stay in the Underworld until he recovers. While doing that, Colette gets to the bottom of why one of the village elders refuses her help. Dionysus insists on throwing a banquet in celebration of his recovery, which quickly turns into an all out party. Colette and Hades slip out of when a karaoke contest becomes a thing.

Colette decides to go on a journey to see Mary, an older orphan she grew up with who was a lot like and older sister and mentor. While traveling she meets a lost noble woman, she offers her food an drink while they wait out the rain together. When the lady’s serving women finally find them, they part ways and readers learn that this woman is a lot more then she appeared to be to Colette.

Well Colette is on her journey we get to see a short story about some of the village kiddos interacting with the apprentices and her ‘big brother,” Itan. We also get a quick story about Lord Hades servants and the small ways he expresses his appreciation for the work they do with his words.

All in all it was super cute and things seem to be progressing with their relationship, even if Colette seems to be a bit oblivious at times. Lol

Highlights: Meeting more of the Olympian gods! This time we get a few chapters with Dionysus. Colette has to nurse him back to health and as a reward he throws a banquet for Colette and Hades. This was so cute because I love when those two have the chance to sit and just be together. Especially Hades confessing to a sleeping Colette that he loves her *squee*

Colette's big brother Itan is visiting too and getting to see what he brings to Colette and her apprentices dynamic is great. I liked seeing Cera bond with him doing house calls.

I *love* Harry the skeleton oh so very much and the matching outfits he made for Colette and Hades were so pretty! I also loved seeing him care for Colette when she hurt her feet.

I'm excited to see what happens next with Itan, Colette's visit home, and of course the growing romance~

This series just keeps getting better and better. Lord Hades finally realized his feelings for her and started making some moves to reel her in. She's so oblivious but he seems to enjoy that part of her as well.

They had so many cute moments in this volume. I think my favorite is the side story with Zeus as a cat. He deserves to be flung back into the underworld.

The lore behind the skeletons keeps getting more detailed. They love Lord Hades so much and the slightest praise makes them blush. It's cute to see him interact with them. The underworld is slowly getting more livelier thanks to Colette.

Also ...don't tell me Itan is in love with Colette? We do not need a 3rd wheeler!!

Thanks to NetGalley and Viz Media for the DRC.

Colette is a very charming and good series. Colette herself is an endearing heroine. The art is cute. It’s different. I found the pages of Colette and Hades realizing their feelings to be the best of the volume. Harry and the rest of the skeleton crew continue to be the stand outs for me. I found the side stories at the end to be cute but unnecessary. Overall if you’re looking for a cute shojo with Greek gods and goddesses in it this is the manga for you. I’m really underselling it but trust me you won’t regret it if you pick this series up, at least I haven’t.

One of my favorite volumes because this time Colette and Hades' relationship progressed a lot. But compared to that, there are many memorable stories, such as Collette who works hard as an apothecary, the presence of Itan and his mysterious woman, the case of the Wine God who likes to party to the chapter about Pola. The side stories in this volume are also funny. Can't wait to read the next volume.

This manga series flows really well and is easy to follow. The characters are very playful and cute, and I'm intrigued by the appearance of a specific goddess and what her role in this series might become. Colette and Hades are as sweet together as always, and Dionysus was a fun addition throughout this volume. It's not exactly riveting, but it's very cozy and easy to read and brings about a sense of genuine pleasantness.

We’re introduced to more celestial realm (Greek) gods as Hades and Colette fall more and more in love with each other. But it’s a slow burn romance so despite some steamy looks and nudges from others, they’ve yet to admit their true feelings.

But by far, the best characters are still the skeletons. I want a Harry in my life; I’m not fashionable at all.

This omnibus contains volumes 5-6.
This series has 20 volumes.

Hades is really everything. He accepts his feelings even though he has fears around them (wow I almost cried a second time reading this series) Collette is once again never taking a day off and very selfless. I like that her selflessness is not only towards Hades though, it’s towards all the people and things in her life. I want volume four now.

This is my favorite 2-in-1 volume so far. It's so cute, heartwarming, and is quite engaging.

The chapters that have the POV of the other characters don't stray from the overall plot and still feel cohesive with their world. Ah, I think I've also become a new Itan fan just because of how mature and good-natured character he is.
