In Asylum, only the courageous survive. The Trials will weed out the weak.
Willow doesn’t remember dying, and subjected to the wrath of a constantly moving wall of flame, she doesn’t have much time to think about it. Willow must flee from the all-consuming fire while contending with the mystical forces of Asylum, an artificial string of islands created by a dwindling race of humans with extraordinary abilities.
Willow soon discovers that she, too, possesses a wondrous ability, and that it comes with a great cost. The Deities, those responsible for Asylum’s creation, crave the power that she holds. Willow finds that she is a subject of the Trials, the last-ditch effort by the Deities to preserve their dying culture. As she and her new companion, Kleo, desperately flee from the firewall, they quickly discover the twisted truth of their world.

Awesome book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book It is a fantasy Which is something I don't normally read but I'm so glad I did. The beginning was a little slow but once I got into the story line I was hooked. Couldn't put the book down.the ending was areal surprise not what I was expecting at all..can't wait for the next book in this Series
