Amazing tale of people becoming the family they need

In a strange fantasy frontier after the cataclysmic war against the demon lord, a strange group of solo misfits come together to build the family they most desire. With quirky kids in a destitute orphanage, they set out to change their corner of the world for the better and eventually all of it.

Excellent character development and relationships that draw reader into the story line and relate to the characters. The relationships keep you enthralled as the story line develops and you relate to the characters feelings and actions. Looking forward to books 4 and 5 and other books by author and co-author.

Thoroughly entertaining

I have already purchased the next two books in this series to find out what happens to Eli, his female companions, the children of his orphanage and the town of Last Stop. I can hardly wait to see what trials will await these fine people.
