This is the fourth book in the best-selling Catherine Kimbridge series. This book picks up the story immediately following book 3. The GCP is facing an adversary called the Syndicate that has no respect for freedom or life. Even worse... the Syndicate may not be the ultimate power behind their empire. If you like fast-action SCIFI with a heart then give Admiral "Cat" Kimbridge a chance to become a part of your universe. This volume contains TWO special surprises at the end of the book. Both are sure to please fans of hardcore science fiction!
I am a geek with a passion for God [I am a fulltime Presbyterian Pastor/Retired computer programmer.]
I'm an unrepentant technologist with over 25 years in the "Information Technology" field -much of it as a Senior Manager of Research and Development.
I have a wonderful wife named Lori, and two fantastic daughters... CJ and Jackie. CJ is ten years the elder and is in college (Muskingum University, New Concord Ohio).
All four of us love Science Fiction, Scuba Diving and good food. Lori and the girls share a passion for music and the piano - regrettably I have absolutely no skills in this area. I do have a passion for Notre Dame and Green Bay Packer Football.
About my writing...
My current passion is a pure Science Fiction series following the adventures of a future "Horatio Hornblower" style character called "Admiral Catherine Kimbridge". I have also co-authored a fantasy series with my eldest daughter (CJ) called "The Ways of Mages"
PLEASE NOTE: All of the proceeds from the first book in each series goes to funding food banks and homeless ministries... So enjoy an inexpensive read and know that you are helping someone else in the process!
I enjoyed this fourth novel highlighting the continuation of Catherine Kimbridge’s stories! I would recommend reading this accounting of the continuing adventures of the heroine, if you wish to be entertained!
I finished the story, but just felt there was too much fighting going on, hard to get into and hard to like. The story had some potential but the lack of clarity and flow killed it for me.
I've binged on this series (man, you've GOT to love Kindle Unlimited ;), but found it hard to keep focused on this one, until about 3/4's into the book. Then the twists and turns started kicking in.
