As much as she desired it to be true, the phrase “Time Heals All” was not factual in the life of Dana Miller. Years had passed, and yet tormenting memories had a way of disrupting her everyday life. Embarrassment and humiliation over bad decisions, flagrant sins, and broken relationships continued to raise their ugly heads of accusation at the most inopportune times. In her mind, she knew she was forgiven and no longer the person her accuser said she was, but memories had a way of pointing an ugly finger of indictment. Sadly, willpower hadn’t been strong enough to keep the depression from plaguing her, even after she had relocated hundreds of miles from her past. Realizing she couldn’t outrun her previous life was not a lesson easily learned, but God had a plan for restoration, healing, blessings, and an answer beyond her wildest imagination.
