Turns out that burning down your married lover’s beach house is a felony in California–one that even my rich stepdad, Dale, can’t get me out of. Six months of community service it is. Guess yo boy just gotta put on his big boy panties and suck it up. Not ready to get Boris the Beast as a prison boyfriend just yet.
I didn’t see him coming though. Mitch. My new parole officer aka the man who broke my heart at the age of 13, when he divorced my mom. The guy I used to call dad, before he left me, breaking all his promises. My Mitch who’s…
… Married. To a guy. Mitch is gay. And his husband, Cal, is this hot baker dude that I’m supposed to work with as part of my community service. And Mitch wants to make amends. But no way am I ever gonna forgive him for bailing on me. He can just take his stupidly hot baker husband, and his stupid traitor soup and his stupid excuses and tell them to someone who gives a damn.
Because I definitely don’t want to call Mitch Daddy and climb Cal like a tree. Nope. No way. That’s absolutely not going through my mind as I punish Cal’s stupid traitor dough. Nope. Their dog is cute though. Maybe I’ll steal it…
Taming Tyler is a sweet and steamy MMM Thanksgiving novella about a bratty, but mostly just lonely, boy finding his two forever daddies where he least expects it.
This is just a preference thing but I don't like when characters break the 4th wall and start speaking to the reader. And I especially don't like it when it's done so the character can really dumb it down and spell everything out (ie "I put this in italics so you can understand how much I really mean it")
Łatwe, szybkie i przyjemne, i równocześnie szybkie do zapomnienia.
Trochę więcej fabuły by nie zaszkodziło.
Tyler Carter is a twenty-one year old brat, who thinks everyone is out the get him. He is in somewhat of a mess in his life, being one step away from prison, unless he completes community service. Mitch is his parole officer, but he is also the man he called dad for years when he dated Ty’s mom.
Mitch always regretted leaving ‘his Tyler’ behind when he split from his mom. When Ty walks into his office, for community service, he knows he has to help and care for him once again.
Callum is Mitch’s husband and the light and love of his life. He owns a ‘Bake My Day’ a beautiful bakery. Mitch asks Callum to agree to help Ty by making him work in his bakery, to pay his debt to society.
Mitch and Cal want to help Ty get back on the straight and narrow. What they don’t bargain for is the feelings they both have towards Ty. Ty is also starting to have feelings for his two ‘daddies’.
A. E. Jensen and E. L. Ough are both such incredible authors and have written yet another first class book together. Their first book Christmas is Heaven was amazing too, please read it if you have not yet. I have read everything they have written together and independently and I have never been disappointed. This book is a wonderful discovery of love and acceptance, and a realisation that love comes in many different ways. I fell totally in love with Ty after initially wanting to knock some sense into him, but this was down to the way Anja and Emma have written him. He is just a scared boy with a heart of gold, wanting someone to cherish and love him, without questions. Mitch and Cal have so much love for each other, that they trust implicitly, and want to give some love to their boy. I loved their conversations about inviting Ty into their relationship, they were open and honest. Bree is also top class. I loved the chemistry between all three of them, it was scorching.
I adored this age gap MMM book. Please read it, it is honestly first class.
“With both my Daddies looking at me like that, I feel an overwhelming sense of contentment. Of being loved. Adored. Of belonging”.
Tyler has reached his last stop before going to far and going to jail for his impulsive decisions. What he least expects is his parole officer to be none other than Mitch, the stepdad who was supposed to love him, yet after the divorce, he never came back for him. Mitch regrets his life choices in hurting this beautiful boy, and with the help of his now husband, Cal wants to find a place once again in Tyler's heart. What none of these men forsee is the undeniable attraction they all now have for one another. Each man learns to open up and accept their new normal in this unique take of ex step dad trope. Cal is a sweet soul who will do anything for his husband and now Tyler he can immediately see Tyler is a good person just been put 9r ley down one too many times by the people who were supposed to love him including Mitch. An emotionally charged story of three men finding a way to make it work in their new dynamics to show they will be there for one another .
This book passed all my expectations. It was the most perfect love story you could ask for. ❤️
Tyler had me laughing, crying, and getting emotional with him. He was definitely the perfect boy!
Mitch and Cal-Bear were the best couple. Their relationship made me feel all warm and fuzzy. They were the perfect Daddies ever.
I loved every part of this book. I laughed at Tyler's antics and bratty attitude, but I also cried with him too. Mitch, I felt it all the way inside my heart. Cal, well, he was just the most beautiful person.
Bree was the best doggy ever. She was everything ❤️
Definitely recommend this book. If you love 2 daddies and a perfect good boy. This is for you.
3 stars I didn't want to rate this book so low because these two authors are really really good (I adored Christmas In Heaven). But I'm always honest in my reviews, so this is what I think about this story.
The three MCs are amazing and I liked them all. Mitch and Callum are relationship goals: devoted to each other, supportive, caring, they love deeply, they both could see beyond Tyler's facade of a bratty young man who doesn't care about anything and takes everything lightly. They saw him for what he really is, a broken guy who's been emotionally negletted for a long time, the young man who felt like he wasn't enough for the man he loved to stay.
In the first part of the story, their feelings are all over the place: Callum is scared to lose his husband by admitting his attraction to Tyler, Mitch feels like he's not allowed to think about Tyler in a sexual way, while Tyler is sure he doesn't deserve neither of them because he knows he's not worth their love.
What didn't really work for me was Mitch and Tyler's relationship development: they had loved each other for too long and too deeply to get over their father/son feelings and dive into a sexual relationship just a few weeks after meeting again. The parts from the past, when we can see all the things they did together, how Mitch took care of him, how he loved him like a son, how Tyler was in awe of his dad... all of them didn't help me to see them as lovers. Moreover, Callum and Mitch have a strong and solid relationship, they're mature and accomplished men and I can't picture Tyler as an equal in that relationship. I think this story would have worked beautifully with Mitch and Tyler reunited and the two husbands adopting the boy for real. For me, Mitch and Callum aren't Daddies, but real Dads.
There are also a couple of plot holes that bothered me, for exemple the explanation about Mitch abandoning Tyler that was very much glossed over: Mitch said very superficially that Dale threatened him with a restraining order, but when? How long has passed since Catarina divorcing Mitch and her starting dating Dale? Why Mitch didn't keep in touch with Tyler in that time? Why Mitch didn't reach out to him when he was 18?
I also didn't like at all that Mitch kept saying that Tyler came back to him, because it should have been him the first to reach out to his son. Not waiting to him to fall on his lap. Callum says more than once that Tyler was like a ghost between them, that Mitch was broken over the loss of his son, but it's very much clear that Mitch didn't do anything at all about that, he didn't even check if his son was doing well.
Lastly, it didn't seem too much of a concern that Mitch was Tyler's parole officer and that their relationship during the six months of community service was very forbidden.
So, I'm a little bummed this story didn't work for me, but I'm sure other readers will appreciate it more.
Hm. Well. I didn’t dislike this. For the first like 45% I actually really enjoyed it. But then it got kind of repetitive and boring and the dialogue got kind of awkward and I kind of sped through to the end. Also I found the spice scenes kind of bleh and skimmed a lot of them. Exhibit A: “With a growl, Cal claims my mouth, sucking my lips into his.”
Why would you describe a kiss like this??? ‘Sucking my lips into his’??? Ewwww.
I loved the voice of Tyler’s POV. He was so funny and enjoyable to follow through the story. And the hurt/comfort and possessive/protectiveness was generally good, especially in the ways Mitch and Cal never took Tyler’s aggression or rudeness too seriously and saw how it was just a defense mechanism even from the beginning.
That being said, Tyler was wayyy too bratty for my taste. It felt like his only mode was sarcasm or humor, and every time he called one of them “Daddy” it felt more like a joke or attempt to sound sexy than a sweet endearment. I love a good daddy kink book, but when it feels like the MCs are just using it as a silly way to sound seductive, it ends up feeling like a bad porno instead of a romance. Exhibit B: “Feed me, Daddies. Make me choke on them, on your big, fat Daddy c*cks.”
I’m rolling my eyes instead of feeling all warm and fuzzy, and that is not a good sign.
And Mitch was so anxious and uncertain and awkward so much of the time, which I really didn’t enjoy and made the daddy kink even more awkward. Because Mitch felt weird about it a lot of the time, I felt weird about it a lot of the time, and now no one’s having fun :(
Anyway, all that to say this wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t great. So 3.2 ✨ feels good to me.
Oh. My. God. My heart! This book! Aughhhh! This has turned me into a puddle of goo! I am now a puddle of goo at the feet of Emma and Anja.
I can't praise them and this incredible book they've created enough. I fell in love with Tyler, Mitch, and Callum from the beginning. My heart broke for Tyler seeing how he was treated and the destruction he created because of that. I just wanted to shake everyone and scream at them to just love him! And then we meet Mitch and learn the heartbreak he has gone through about losing his boy and his husband, Callum, who knows how much Tyler meant to him. Callum never judged Mitch for that. Or for wanting Tyler back in his life. The communication between them when they started to realize Tyler meant more to them was so good to see. Instead of having the characters feel guilt for a few weeks/months and then have something bad happen to get them to talk.
I absolutely love Tyler. He's so adorable. And he isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. No matter how much trouble he gets in with his Daddies.
The scene I loved the most was with Cal and Tyler but Mitch's POV. In the cabin when Cal and Tyler were making dough. The patience and love that Cal had as Tyler was beating himself up, seeing that from Mitch's POV was everything.
If I could change anything, it would be that either Mitch or Cal got to punch Dale (Dave? Dan? He's so insignificant I don't even remember his name) in the face. I know we had that scene with Mitch and him. But a good punch would have made my day.
If you love MM/MMM romance, PLEASE give this a try It's so worth it, and I promise you'll love it just as much as I do.
I've been seeing this circling around my socials for a while now and phew I'm so glad I picked it up 🔥🫠.
This book was the perfect blend of sweet, spice and everything nice. I mean what's not to love? A bratty boy finding himself by meeting his two bear daddies 🥵. The Daddy trope is definitely a favourite of mine and this did not disappoint 💯.
Daddy/Boy? ✔️ Hurt/Comfort? ✔️ Hardworking 'Blue Collar' Bear Daddies? ✔️ MMM? ✔️ Bratty Boy? ✔️ Dirty Talking MCs? ✔️ A Happily Marries Couple Meets Their Match? ✔️ Found Family? ✔️
Seriously though, the spicy scenes were EVERYTHING I needed 🥵. When Mitch and Cal finally give in and all three come together? *chef's kiss 💋* PERFECTION. I'm so glad our sweet, defiant, bratty boy found his home 💜😍.
Ty was also hilarious and everything I love in a boy! I mean his inner dialogue had me cackling like a man woman 😂. So happy that our protective, possessive, dominant daddies saw through his poor angry, misunderstood and lonely heart and helped him find his way into his lovely, bratty self😈 💯.
The authors did an amazing job at mixing spice with romance, and blended them seamlessly. I mean I swooned so much during this book 🥹 I wish I was a fly on the wall to see their amazing love for years to come! They also did an amazing job at making this happily married couple into an extraordinarily happy throuple 💜. They mixed so beautifully and it didn't feel forced or like anyone was left out either❤️.
I devoured this book so fast and can't wait to look into what else these authors have wrote 🥰.
I really enjoyed this book a lot and I am so happy I was able to receive an ARC for the book! One of my favorite parts was the build up showing how Tyler was struggling and some causes of his issues but then how they were gradually resolved. These issues turned out to be his step dad but also his previous stepdad Mitch. Once Tyler was Able to face his past with Mitch, that really changed the story when it all came together.
I loved how Tyler was able to eventually tolerate Mitch and get to know him after everything went down in the past. I feel Mitch’s husband Cal was very helpful to get the two back to talking terms and become close again.
I also enjoyed how the 3 of them were able to have a connection that was beyond just Mitch and Tyler. Cal brought forth a presence for them both to piece together what was missing from the past. I think Cal was the missing piece of glue that was needed to bring these 2 back into each other’s lives.
I think the one reason that I’m giving it a 4 vs a 5 star was because I wanted more of a gradual build up to them being Daddies vs one day Tyler just stating they were his daddies. I feel this aspect was thrown in vs having it be brought on even after a few days. While I loved the daddy aspect, I just was hoping for more of a build up to it.
Overall, this book was a great, low angst, spicy book with two daddies that loved their boy. The book was a medium slow burn I would say because it took until about half the book for everything to start falling into place for the 3 of them. I highly recommend this book!

3.5 ⭐️ Quick read. Wanted it to be spicer. There were a few things I didn’t like such as Tyler talking directly to the readers in the first chapter along with the word ‘wee-wee’. It also felt a little bland. I did still like the relationship between Tyler, Mitch and Cal though.
This had potential, but nothing was fleshed out except in the bedroom, and even that's a stretch.. I want some actual character building. Give the characters a story. I know nothing about Ty, Mitch or Cal that I didn't learn in a combined paragraph. The book is called Taming Tyler, but Tyler is just as childish (not even in a cute way) at the end of the 2nd prologue 4 years later. Obnoxious and disrespectful with zero character arc..
I was generous by giving 3 stars. The writing itself was decent and readable and I always enjoy more than one POV.
However, the style is a bit off-putting for me as it was written as if it were speaking to the reader, and everything was an accounting of previous hours, days, weeks etc instead of an active account.
3.5 ⭐️ Taming Tyler is a quick, steamy holiday romance that brings together an intriguing mix of age-gap dynamics and a bit of a forbidden love story.
While the novella is entertaining and emotionally charged, there are moments where the rushed plot causes some confusion. However, it’s clear that the authors wanted to create a satisfying and fulfilling romance, and they succeed in delivering a heartwarming, albeit imperfect, story.
This book contained two conflicting story ideas, both of which might have worked under the right circumstances: Either this could have been a MM romance in which the couple literally sees Tyler as a son, shows him what love and family can be like, and decides to adopt him; or a MMM romance where Mitch was was only Tyler’s step-dad for a brief time when he was an infant but doesn’t recognize him as an adult, and the three develop strong connections while discussing their taboo history and dynamic. This story was neither of those things.
Tyler’s inner monologue does attempt to convince the reader that he never viewed Mitch sexually or romantically until now, as an adult. “He was only ever just Mitch. Mitch, the caretaker. Mitch, the father figure. Mitch, the best person I knew. But not hot. Never hot. Because I was a kid.” (Tyler POV, p.74) This quote may have fit under different circumstances, but everything else in this story completely counteracts this notion, past the point of taboo. Mitch was Tyler’s step-dad for eight years, and young Tyler called Mitch ‘Dad’ for years. The term ‘Dad’ (as in father, not daddy) is mentioned 16 times. This was too long of a time and too much of a father/son bond to be undone with a few short sentences about ‘never seeing him that way.’ Also, Mitch’s inner monologue continues to remind the readers that up until their present circumstance, he saw Tyler as his own son and no amount of retconning can undo that.
Actual quotes from the book: “This kid is not the boy I loved like a son for eight years and a couple of measly months. He’s not the boy I called mine, and he called me Dad in return…” (Mitch POV, p.17) “...My Tyler. The boy I used to love like he was my own.” (Mitch POV, p.34) “...Ty. My Ty. The boy that I loved and lost, no longer a kid, but a man.” (Mitch POV, p.123)
To be clear, I am not shaming the Daddy/boy dynamic in and of itself. I am shaming the established dynamic between a father and a person he referred to as his own son. With this in mind, the continual infantilization (which becomes Tyler’s entire personality for 75% of the book) leaps over the line of Taboo into true and proper ick territory. The word 'boy' is mentioned 116 times and ‘kid’ 101.
Quotes include: “Little boys belong in their bed at night and not God knows where with God knows whom.” (Cal about Tyler, p.42) “F*** my little boy hole.” (p.158) “I’ve-had-my-little-boy-hole-wrecked-by-a-midsize-anaconda-kind.” (p.163) “...afterward, Cal always rubs my little boy hole with his miracle balm.” (p.196)
So, why did I read this entire book? Why not DNF? Honestly, because this book was just so deeply terrible and the writing truly baffling from start to finish that I stubbornly trudged through it in order to share all of the most unhinged banana-pants quotes with my best friend. And now, whomever reads this review.
TLDR: I read this book so you don’t have to. Please enjoy these absolutely mind-boggling quotes:
“Dale positively shakes, and although the guy has no soul, he kinda looks hurt.” “A deep voice that sounded like a mixture of tires on gravel and a melancholic sax in a sweaty jazz club at 2 am engulfed me.” “...scrunching his nose, the sprinkling of freckles glowing in the brightness of the overhead lights.” “I don’t think I’ve ever seen hair this color, and we get a lot of Latino kids coming through. It’s not jet black. There’s no blue tint to it. But it’s not brown, either.” “I lean in and wipe his cheek carefully. His skin vibrates beneath my fingers as he stays motionless.” “I gulp once before gulping some more.” “...my dick trying to drill a hole through my shorts.” (p.73) and “...my cock is trying to drill a tunnel through my shorts.” (different character, p.83) “...his hairy chest tickling my nose, his nipples just there, right in front of me, ready to breakfast on.” “I just gobble it up like one of those kids who aren’t allowed sugar and nearly O.D. on it at a birthday party.” “Shit, he smells good. Like all musky and manly and… like top-tier potent pheromones. His scent is like crack and it’s doing stuff to my body, to my dick. To my hole. It’s full-on clenching and unclenching, almost like it’s trying to clap some horny-ass tune.” “Mitch groans into my mouth, interrupting my butthole serenading his dick.” “Shut up, traitor heart! Go drown in the traitor soup!” “He jammed his cock so far inside me that I swear my one crooked front tooth is now straight.” “It smells sterile, of nothing but cleanliness, and I wish I had my face buried deeply in a sweaty Daddy pit instead.”
Taming Tyler is a standalone romance from authors A.E. Jensen and E.L. Ough. Here's what you can expect from Tyler, Mitch, and Cal:
🥐 MMM contemporary romance 🥐 First person triple point of view 🥐 Guaranteed happily ever after 🥐 Established couple (no cheating) 🥐 Daddy kink (no age play) 🥐 Hurt/comfort 🥐 Former step-dad/step-son (no blood relation) 🥐 Kink exploration
As always, ensure you review the content and trigger warnings to decide if this book is right for you. Note that this list of warnings and triggers may be incomplete. Please take care of yourself while reading.
Taming Tyler was my first story by both E.L. Ough and A.E. Jensen (I haven't read Christmas in Heaven yet but it's on my list for this holiday season). I really wanted to love it, and I think there was some great foundation there but overall, the book didn't quite work for me.
I loved the premise of the book, but I did struggle with Mitch and Tyler moving from that step-parent relationship to lovers. I loved the flashbacks from when Tyler was a kid and Mitch was his step-dad though, and I think it built a strong foundation for them as their relationship pivoted as adults. I also found Tyler a difficult character to like, and I think that's something that's totally on me. I definitely sympathized with him, though. He had a tough childhood, and his current step-dad was absolutely awful to him, with his mother doing nothing to protect him from the abuse. I did like Mitch and Cal as an established, married couple and I would've liked to get to know them better. All that being said, I really enjoyed the spice and kink in this book as well as the quaint setting of Mitch and Cal's little cottage in the woods (and their adorable dog was such a fun addition to the story, and I loved how she connected to Tyler almost instantly). In that aspect, Mitch, Cal, and Tyler were all very compatible and the Daddy kink was done well.
Overall, I think this story just didn't work for me, personally but there were still different elements I enjoyed. It was a relatively quick read (under 200 pages I think), and an easy read despite the pieces of hurt/comfort. I still look forward to reading Christmas in Heaven and seeing what else these authors come up with.
Tyler, at twenty-one, landed on the wrong side of the law, after being caught more than once, he got one chance left, the last one. If he doesn’t make it work he’ll end up in jail. That will be the end of him. Acting up as a little brat is just the outside, covering up his hurt and loneliness. Wait until we get to know the real him!
His new parole officer is none other than his ex-stepdad. The man he adored and who broke his heart. They were so close, and the man promised to come back to him but never did. No way Tyler will work with him.
Mitch is ‘the one’ for Callum, from first sight he was all in sharing a future with this man. They are the sweetest together, there’s a deep loving bond between them.
Meeting his favorite boy after all these years, and under these horrible circumstances, Mitch’s heart shattered. It was all his fault!! Tyler doesn’t want to work with Mitch, so he hands him over to his husband Callum. Tyler has to work for six months with Cal at his bakery.
“He hates me,” “That’s not hate, babe. That’s hurt,”
Having Tyler around is something special, when he shows his true self he’s the sweetest. Running around with their rescue dog Bree (looooooove). Bree worshipped and adopted Tyler as his! Mitch is happy with Tyler in his life again, Callum opened his heart for Tyler at first sight. Tyler is the biggest bratty pouting flirt, spreading innuendos around, underneath all this there’s a bunch of hurt.
“One. Two. Three. One is always alone, right? Two are company. What are three then? Family?”
With the three of them at Mitch and Cal’s secluded cabin, the sexual tension is reaching sky-high, the earth under them is moving and shifting, reorganizing a future dynamic you could only dream of, one where all three are happy!
Gosh, I loved this narrative, my heart melted watching them, and reading their emotional journey. A threesome in a story can be tricky, to make it work I want to feel it, the connection, the right balance, and the dynamic. These authors did a great job. Separate the three already are amazing, imagine them together! The story was full of everything: many many precious moments, fun, seriousness, sexiness, dirty talk, warmth, and love so much love!! Overall, a captivatingly written story, excellently balanced and with super duper lovable characters.

Talk about reading the right book at the right time. Taming Tyler was a sweet, funny, and slightly kinky story of unconventional love. Tyler is a bratty young man one strike away from doing serious time. His inner dialogues are hysterical. And his self-destructive streak is a cry for love and acceptance. Mitch is his new parole officer - and the man Tyler used to love when Mitch was his stepfather. Mitch regrets losing touch with Tyler - even if he had no choice. And Cal is Mitch’s husband who runs the bakery where Tyler is doing community service. How can you not fall for a man so kind and decent? I loved how, even with Mitch and Tyler’s history, Cal is the one who brings them all together. And how organic their attraction felt. Their love may be non-traditional, but it is no less worthy. And how it’s not just about the sex - although that is really, really well done. 😉 What makes MMM work for me is the connection all the men share. The intimacy -emotional and physical. The little ways they show they care. Even with Two Daddys, they were all equal partners. Plus the way they communicated was a huge green flag for me. Mitch and Caleb were happy, satisfied with their life. Loving Tyler didn’t diminish that love, just made it grow larger. Love and care and family. What Tyler needed the most. It was kind. Healing. And dare I say, hot! Three didn’t even enter Cal and Mitch’s minds until an adorable, broken former stepson entered their lives and their bond grew. The love they all shared was deep, meaningful. “Weird how love can just grow if you let it, ain’t it M? It just wants to grow so bad all on its own.” And the epilogue? Wonderful. Seeing Tyler’s growth and their beautiful family was perfect. Thank you Emma and Anja. Because love is beautiful in all its forms and should celebrated. And this book showed me I still had the capacity for things I was worried I’d lost: laughter, happiness, and the belief in the goodness of man.
Taming Tyler by E.L. Ough and A.E. Jensen delivers a deeply emotional, captivating story about love, redemption, and second chances.
At 21, Tyler’s rebellious streak has landed him on thin ice with the law. With one last chance to avoid jail, he’s forced to confront his past wounds and loneliness. Beneath his bratty, flirtatious exterior lies a young man craving connection and belonging.
Tyler’s new parole officer is Mitch—his former stepdad and childhood hero, who broke his heart by disappearing years ago. Their reunion under these strained circumstances forces Mitch to confront his guilt, but Tyler refuses to work with him. Instead, he’s assigned to Callum, Mitch’s husband, for six months at Callum’s bakery.
Callum and Mitch’s relationship is rock solid, their bond deeply loving. However, Tyler’s reappearance stirs everything up. As Tyler integrates into their lives, his true self emerges: sweet, vulnerable, and utterly endearing. Bree, their rescue dog, quickly adopts Tyler as her favourite, and Callum’s open-hearted kindness begins to heal Tyler’s defences.
At their secluded cabin, the trio’s simmering chemistry ignites, creating a powerful, dynamic connection. Their journey to becoming a family is full of emotional highs and lows, as Tyler, Mitch, and Callum navigate their feelings and build something extraordinary.
This beautifully written story strikes the perfect balance of fun, seriousness, and sizzling romance. The authors masterfully create a believable and heartfelt threesome dynamic, packed with love, warmth, and unforgettable moments. Taming Tyler is a deeply moving and sensual story that will leave your heart full. Highly recommended!
First I want to say thanks to Emma & Anna for letting me ARC this gem.
Let me tell you I went on a small 🎢 of emotions with this one. One big one was the 🤏🏼 of communication between Mitch & Tyler but I understood it.
The relationship between Mitch & Callum was nothing but couple goals. The way they love each other and communicate in their relationship even when scared to voice something. The way they finished each other sentences and just knew what the other was thinking at almost all times had me 🫠 hard.
When Tyler was added to this amazing couples relationship is the time when the book went to another amazing level. I loved how Mitch & Callum truly took care of Tyler with no hesitation. They would do everything in their power to have Tyler feel // know he is amazing and very cared for.
These 3 are nothing but perfect together and I loved their HEA along with not wanting there story to end at all. Anja & Emma truly gave us an amazing story that y’all just HAVE to read.
Please ✔️ TRIGGER WARNINGS before jumping in. If you have none then just jump in 😉.

Tyler is the cutest little twink I have read about! On the outside he is trying to be the bad boy causing lots of trouble but on the inside he is just a hurt lost little boy who needs his daddies.
Tyler is on his last chance before prison. His is sentenced to 6 months parole/community service. (which I find extremely weird because that seems more like something teens experience, not 21 year olds) Anywho, when he arrives to meet his parole office and get his assignment, it is his ex stepdad Mitch holding his file. Tyler is extremely pissed off at him because he left 8 years earlier and never looked back, so he thinks.
Mitch takes him to his house and introduces him to his husband, Callum. He will be working with him in his bakery during his 6 months of community service. Tyler hates everything about it and them. But he arrives at work the next morning after no sleep and a night of partying. Tyler seems very excited to learn something new and be helpful. That’s all Tyler wants. To be wanted, needed, loved. Him and Callum become close quickly.
They invite Tyler for a weekend away at their cabin. To straighten out the misunderstanding of their past and reacquaint themselves. It becomes quite apparent with all Tyler’s “daddy” teasing that lines are becoming blurred.
Mitch and Callum have a frank discussion about where they want Tyler to fit in with them. Neither thought they could ever want anyone else because they love each other very much. But Tyler just fits with them. It’s like he was always supposed to be there in between them. They confess this to Tyler, who is extremely happy that someone actually finally wants him.

[I received an advanced copy of this book. All reviews and ratings are my own.]
Tyler is bratty 21-year-old, Mitch is his former stepfather who's now married to a man, Cal, who is the baker Tyler is assigned to for community service when he burns down his married lover's beach house.
Tyler is capital-A Angry at Mitch who, it turns out, is his probation officer, but it's pretty clear that his anger and his acting out are all to cover up the hurt he's been carrying because he thinks he was abandoned by the stepfather he called Dad. Of course, there's more to it than that, though Tyler never could have known it. Still, he refuses to cut Mitch any slack, though he does start letting Cal in.
The first half of the book feels so complete, and so well developed. There's the angst of Cal's guilt for falling for a man who isn't his husband. There's Mitch's hesitation and fear because he's fallen for a man he used to think of as a son. And there's Tyler's struggle with being abandoned and believing he's worthy of their love.
The second half of the book feels less developed and more rushed. The spice is great, but I found Tyler's bratty side to be a little grating the more he embraced the Daddy/boy dynamic. And for three men who'd never been in that kind of dynamic before, their acceptance of it felt a little too easy.
That said, this was a quick read and a cute story. Though there were some parts I felt could have been developed a bit more (ie. what happened to Mitch when he left Tyler's mom?), I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a light read.
When Mitch gets divorced from Tyler’s Mom, Tyler is heartbroken at losing his Step Dad and loses his way, getting into trouble with the law who now have a ‘Red File’ on him.
Eight years later and now faced with jail time as a 21 year old, his file is handed to a Parole Officer, who turns out to be his ex- Step Dad Mitch.
Mitch has been married to Callum for 6 years and they are blissfully happy together. Their relationship is beautiful on its own, but when Tyler becomes Mitch’s case he places him in Community Service, at Callum’s Bakery.
That’s when things really start steaming up the kitchen in the Bakery. Callum falls first and feels so guilty but he shares his feelings with Mitch, they have no secrets between them. Now, Mitch is rethinking his feelings towards Tyler. But Tyler is being such a brat, lashing out and trying to hurt Mitch for leaving him when he was just a kid, but there’s more to that than meets the eye. Tyler also falls in love with Bree, Callum’s half blind rescued pouch and it’s mutual.
‘Daddies’ are not my favourite trope whether it’s MM or MMM but somehow these 3 just drew me into their little cocoon and I enjoyed the telling.
Love author A.E. Jensen books and this one is a bit of a departure from her usual works, plus it’s co-authored by another authorI like, E.L.Ough. I’d read more of their collaborations if they produce any more in the future.
This was difficult for me to get into at first. Especially with Tyler breaking the fourth wall in the first chapter and addressing readers. Yeah, that almost made me DNf this, but I didn’t because I was honestly interested and I wanted to read Tyler’s story and I love forbidden romance.🥰
This turned out to be more cute than I expected and that just made it better. Tyler is a brat whose mother barely exists in his life, she’s alive but she’s not involved his life and might as well just be dead. He’s a boy who is attention and loved starved and he finally found that completion with Micah and Cal.
Micah was once Tyler’s step-dad but divorced his mom and remarried to Cal. Micah and Cal were perfect for Tyler, at first I wasn’t sure if these three would make sense but they ended up fitting so perfectly into each other’s life.
Something I appreciated most in this book was how no one was left out in the throuple. Most MMM books someone sometimes gets pushed into the background, but this, they were all present. Cal and Micah’s love for each other didn’t wane for a second and it only seemed to intensify after accepting their affection and attraction to Tyler. As mouthy and bratty as he was, Micah and Cal were the right daddies for Tyler and they really did tame him.
If you’re looking for a fluffy forbidden MMM romance then this is right up your alley.🥰
Tyler doesn't need to be tamed just loved, desired and cared for, so thank goodness he found 2 Daddies to fulfill this every wish. Tyler is trouble with a capital T. He's been acting out but he gets his emotions overtake him completely and he burns down a house which gets him basically one strike away from some real deal trouble. His rich but spiteful stepfather can't totally save him so he comes face to face with the last man he called dad, Mitch. But Mitch left and left him and he certainly has not forgotten that. But when Mitch introduces Tyler to his husband Cal, Tyler is in awe in more ways than one. But could Mitch have the boy he has always loved as the man he wants to cherish? Cal gives the go ahead and the throuple is born. Mitch fights hard for his men and when his gives Tyler his all it is beautiful. This story is full of love and devotion and that an addition to a loving relationship can be beautiful and fruitful. Tyler is bratty which is. It my cup of tea, however in this context and with 2 established Daddies it actually works well and it would be weird if he wasn't a little bratty. This was a awesome collab and a perfect holiday read without aggressive holiday themes oozing out of the seams.
I was provided with an ARC for Taming Tyler and was quite intrigued to read this. The cover definitely caught my eye and he’s a baker.. 😍 ok now for the story lol Tyler has issues with his current step dad and his mother and is running their patience low. Tyler is unexpectedly reunited with his former step dad and this is when our story truly begins. I really enjoyed the first half of this book; the pain and love between Mitch and Tyler was evident. There are many issues mentioned throughout this so check your TW. The love and trust between Mitch and Cal was beautiful and seeing how all these relationships evolved and crossed was done well. I struggled a bit with the second half though, Tyler is quite bratty and I don’t normally like this kind of character/behavior. Things do become spicy; and this becomes the focus for the second half of the book. The spice scenes were done well and with care to the overall story. Check this out for a an interesting story, redemption, spice and baking! This will be available starting 11/21! Thank you Anja & Emma for allowing me to check this out!

As with all MMM books, I just found it so full of love. Absolutely more than enough to go around the three of them. When we first meet Ty, he is angry, scared and just feels lonely and lost. Funny how emptiness leads you to do foolish things. Ty gets himself in bigger trouble this time, but it's actually his saving grace. It brings him back to Mitch. Mitch and Cal don't even know they have a Ty shaped gap in their heart but when he slots straight in they all just feel complete. Cal gives off this growly personality, but he is also the sweetest of men, how lucky Mitch and Ty are to be loved by such a caring man. Once Ty lets his guard down and finds his standing, he is so much fun. His relationship with Bree, the dog, just shows how kind he is, the dog figured him out straightaway. We watch as love and fun creates a strong unit, and the epilogue gives us the advantage of seeing how amazing Ty is and how much fun and love these three create. Such a lovely book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
What's better than a Daddy/boy story? TWO daddies and a boy!!
To say I was excited for this book is an understatement. I do love a good Daddy/boy story, and the authors did not disappoint! I was surprised at how well they did with the character building in such a short book.
Tyler has unresolved Daddy issues. He's a brat and acts out in the most destructive ways. When he gets in trouble with the law and has to do community service, he comes face to face with his ex step-dad, a large part of his unresolved issues.
Cal and Mitch, both 40 somethings, happily married, are completely blindsided when Tyler, a 21 year old from Mitch's past, is thrown into their lives. They quickly realize that they need and want Tyler as much as Tyler needs and wants them. They decide together to make Tyler theirs.
Taming Tyler is a fun short read. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the Daddy/boy trope.
This is the kind of story where you feel all the characters, if that makes sense. It has a great build up and background story 💛
Ty is the brattiest brat, but he’s a bit broken. I love broken characters… He deserves to be loved and treasured. His Daddies probably needed him in his life more than they knew. And he definitely needs them
Cal is my absolute favourite. Calm and collected, but even he looses a bit control when Ty is around with his teasing.
Mitch has carried Ty in his heart for years, even though he’s happily married with his man. And of course he needs to come to terms with the fact that the boy he once knew is now a man… and he wants him!
I love Cal and Mitch’s relationship. They read each other perfectly, words aren’t always necessary. The love they have for each is beautiful.
This is a fun, easy read with some feels. And definitely some kinks 🔥
