This story pulls you into the different world of horror where a girl named prachi who was going for her MBBS study to russia comes in
control of a ghost named "ifrit" who starts torturing her by giving her severe stomach pains and when that pain crosses the limits.
She has to come back to her home in Delhi. Her parents take her to several doctors to find out what is happening to her. she always
felt thats somebody was calling her but there was no one. Nobody was able to confirm what was happening to her. she keeps getting weak. Suddenly there was someone who was able to understand what was happening to her
and from there book keeps the curiosity alive.
This book keeps getting interesting with every turn of page, it has 8 parts and every part brings thrills, fear, shock and mystery.
It also ends in a way that it will keep you questioning that there is something else and it is not the end.
I really hope there will be a second part of it.
Readers are going to love it for sure.

यह वाकई सराहनीय है कि लेखक ने रोमांटिक कहानी "इशरा" लिखने के बाद शैली बदली और उसी ऊंचाई को बनाए रखा।
इफ्रिट एक ऐसी किताब है जो रहस्य, रोमांच और अद्भुत कल्पना से भरी है। कहानी की मुख्य पात्र प्राची और उसके परिवार के संघर्षों को इस तरह बुना गया है कि यह पाठक को गहराई से जोड़ता है। खासकर "इफ्रिट" नामक शक्तिशाली शैतान का शानदार चित्रण इस किताब को उसकी असाधारण शक्ति और प्रभाव को समझने के लिए अवश्य पढ़ने योग्य बनाता है।
कहानी भ्रम, भ्रांतियों और गहरे रहस्यों से भरी है, जो हर पन्ने पर पाठक को हैरान करती है। आठ भागों में विभाजित इस किताब का हर भाग आपको कहानी से बांधे रखेगा और इसमें दिए गए दिलचस्प मोड़ इसे और भी रोमांचक बनाते हैं।
मैंने इसे सिर्फ़ दो दिनों में ही पढ़ लिया। इसकी दिलचस्प कहानी ने मुझे किताब छोड़ने का मौका ही नहीं दिया, हालाँकि अन्य काम भी ज़रूरी थे। अगर इस कहानी का दूसरा भाग आता है तो खुशी होगी, ताकि पाठक इस अद्भुत यात्रा का फिर से आनंद ले सकें।
साथ ही, मैं लेखक से यह भी जानना चाहूंगा कि उनका इ ' अक्षर से क्या संबंध है कि उन्होंने दोनों पुस्तकों का नाम एक ही अक्षर से रखा, जबकि दोनों बिल्कुल अलग-अलग विधाओं की हैं।

मैंने लेखक की पिछली किताबें भी पढ़ी हैं, लेकिन इफ़रित मुझे सबसे अलग और बेहतर लगी। इसमें सस्पेंस, हॉरर और थ्रिल का अच्छा-खासा मेल है और सच कहूं तो शुरुआत से ही कहानी ने मुझे बांधे रखा। कहानी प्राची नाम की एक मेडिकल स्टूडेंट और उसके परिवार की है, जिनके जीवन में एक रहस्यमयी और डरावनी शक्ति इफ़रित की एंट्री होती है।
ये इफ़रित आखिर चाहता क्या है?
क्या ये बस यूं ही डराने आया है या इसके पीछे कोई गहरी वजह है?
ऐसे ही सवाल मेरे मन में आते रहे और कहानी जैसे-जैसे आगे बढ़ी, सस्पेंस और भी गहराता गया। मुझे सच में लगता है कि लेखक ने इस बार बेहतर काम किया है ये उनकी पहले की किताबों से ज्यादा अच्छी है हालांकि मुझे लगता है कि वो और भी बेहतर लिख सकते हैं।
कुल मिलाकर,इफ़रित एक डरावनी, थ्रिल से भरपूर कहानी है जो आपको आख़िर तक बांधे रखेगी। अगर आप हॉरर और मिस्ट्री वाली किताबें पसंद करते हैं, तो ये ज़रूर पढ़ें।

Definitely an interesting read (errors in editing but the story is damn interesting)
So lemme first start with what an ifrit is.... Basically it's a kind of bad soul... The most powerful and smartest one. It plays with your mind and makes you do things that you as yourself would never do. In simple words, it survives on your soul and energy.
In this book, Prachi, the main character, is in control of the Ifrit and the entire book is a journey of how she faces troubles due to the ifrit, how he's controlled her life and why he even emerged.
Characters are well presented and have had a great growth as well. It's a short and interesting read.
