Strip Teaser

Rate this book
When investigative reporter Sally Evans receives her latest assignment to uncover the naked truth, she gets more than she bargained for.

Eight weeks on tour with the Naked Nights male stripper troupe to expose all their dirty secrets, is this serious reporter's worst nightmare. She'd rather a man keep his clothes on. For Sally, sex is only a consideration if it happens in the dark, not that she can remember the last time she had a reason to turn the lights off.

With over-eager, over-sexed female fans in abundance and baby oil by the gallon, the guys are looking forward to some fun.... Sally's inhibitions are not.

I'm afraid this book & I didn't really play nicely.

The premise seemed different, & it was, but I felt it was more the authors voice for me. I found it abundantly cheesy, with a layer of cringe.

The title, Strip Teaser, puts a certain image or two in the readers’ minds and sets up every preconceived notion out there of what goes on in that line of work. It’s a brilliant way for Ava Manello to lure readers to her text and then shatter some of the stereotypes once they get into the storyline. Manello uses her heroine, Sally, as our set of eyes – the one who goes into the trenches for eight weeks as The Naked Night’s men take their show on the road, and she comes out of the experience with a new appreciation for the work that goes into being a male stripper and the men behind their stage personas.

As an investigative reporter, Sally is not used to being around people; in fact, she’s really not a people person. She keeps to herself because being around people forces her to try to meet their expectations and not let them down. She’s a behind the scenes kind of girl, so when her boss gives her her new assignment, she feels like it’s going to be eight weeks of hell – eight weeks of dealing with oversexed male strippers, awkward and inappropriate situations, and an audience full of women who want a piece of them, and while those circumstances do occur and some of the male strippers are the stereotypical characters, others are so much more than the pieces of meat they are perceived to be. Sally realizes these men form a family; they have each other’s backs, and slowly but surely, she becomes a part of their group and fits in way more than she could have ever imagined.

But there’s so much more to this story than just Sally’s new perspective. She’s not the only one telling readers her insights and feelings; readers also get to experience Alex’s viewpoint; he’s one of the strippers in the show, and he definitely has a demeanor and a lifestyle way outside the stereotypical one. Slowly over the course of their eight weeks together, Alex develops feelings for Sally, but with Tiny’s dictate that Sally is off limits during the tour, he’s not sure how to move forward. There’s definitely a whole will they or won’t they feel to their relationship, and I loved experiencing it from both sides because it made it so much easier to understand what’s at stake for both of them.

Ava Manello’s first solo book is a sweet and quirky tale that’s written extremely well. Her descriptions of the dance scenes during the guys’ performances allow readers to get a clear image of what’s happening, and the one liners and witty banter amongst the guys and Sally illustrate the rapport that exists throughout this small group of men. Sally is a heroine that readers can relate to – her shyness, her love of books, and her fear of relationships are all aspects of Sally’s personality that will resonate with them. There’s also a sensual aspect imbedded into the writing through the descriptions of the dances and body movements involved, which only further draws readers into the story, and while there are a few raunchier parts, that’s also a necessary aspect due to the nature of the job explored. I definitely enjoyed this story and would recommend it to readers.

FIVE FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC STARS

Kindle Friends Forever

Firstly, the title is deceiving! I imagined this short read was going to be about a female strip tease artist and certainly not a classy troupe of gorgeous men titillating an audience of women night in, night out to earn a living. This little book is huge! Even though it’s not my kind of read, I found it unputdownable, engrossing and it definitely opened my eyes regarding their profession. Yes, I say profession because what they do needs extremely fit and agile men that know how to work together, know how to choreograph to perfection and enjoy a camaraderie built up through hours and hours of training and living together in a tight-knit group.

Sally Evans is an investigative reporter for a newspaper that’s not exactly the Times and having financial problems, too! She’s ambitious, not very sociable, likes what she does but can’t stand working alongside one of her co-workers who she considers a jerk. Why didn't her boss, Eric, give him or her other companions the assignment to tour with Naked Night’s when it’s not what she does? You will see. Caught between a rock and a hard place, she resignedly takes it on.

The next eight weeks touring around England with these five ravishing performers and their manager will change her way of thinking, help her open up and form a strong bond with Tiny and the rest of guys who become overly protective of her for a good reason. But more importantly, her relationship with Alex will flourish regardless of the confusion she has as to whether or not he is who his friends make him out to be. Alex is attracted to Sally but keeps arm’s length because they've all had strict orders that she’s off limits. However, that doesn't stop him wishing there could be more.

There is no doubt that the author knows what she is talking about when describing the dance scenes. They are Hot with a capital H! And Alex, oh my God! Can this horrendously attractive man know how to move seductively around the stage and drive the ladies wild! Innuendos are rife throughout the book, humour abounds and the banter between all the characters is nothing less than outstanding. I especially liked the way they were always having a dig at Guido, the Italian stallion who has probably never set foot in Italy! This love story which doesn't have a lot of sex, builds up to an incredible crescendo that's worth waiting for.

A word to Ms Manello. You have written an impeccable story with a highly feasible and solid plot; all your characters’ personality traits are exquisitely described keep the reader glued to the pages and I, for one, can’t wait for the next instalment. Simply bravo!

Wow, I loved this book and devoured it in one sitting!!!! I love the way Ava Manello writes; she has a natural talent as a writer and storyteller.

This book tells the story of a group of male strippers and, more importantly, who they are behind the scenes. Alex is not your typical stripper. He's not bulky but simply toned and he doesn't lust after the fans, unlike his rather more promiscuous co-performers. Alex is the strong, silent member of the group and preferring his own company is wrongly presumed to be gay, much to Sally's disappointment.

The guys aren't what I expected. Well, mostly. Alex and Tiny are the total opposite of who and what I thought they'd be. The other four are slightly more stereotypical with their fake tans and larger than life egos, yet most of the time they're pleasant and polite.

Sally is a journalist who, reluctantly, agrees to spend 8 weeks touring with the group to tell their story but upon meeting the men she soon realises that they are so different to their performing personas. It's not long before Sally falls for Alex's charms but assuming that he is gay doesn't act on her lustful thoughts.

He lays down flat to the stage, humping up and down suggestively with his groin. I can't help but wonder how that would feel if he was in bed with me.

I really enjoyed that this story is set in the UK and for once speaks my language! Ava has written a delightful love story and I really enjoyed the "will they, won't they" theme which ran throughout. The characters were lovable rogues and you can't help but become attached to each one especially when they protect Sally like big brothers.

Strippers are not my thing but I would pay good money to witness this group of hearthrobs in the "flesh"!!!

“Strip Teaser” was a fun and quick read. I had expected more of a sex driven storyline but it was really actually very sweet and funny book.

Sally wants to be a serious journalist. So when her boss gives her the assignment to go on tour for 8 weeks with the Naked Nights male strip show, she is less than pleased! A self-proclaimed homebody and loner, she would much rather read a book than watch a sleazy strip show!

Alex never envisioned himself as a stripper. But there is not much work out there for dancers and Naked Nights is excellent pay. As long as he keeps his head down and stays focused on the dancing he will stay out of trouble.

Sally is surprised by Alex’s talent and as she learns more about him her attraction grows! But with the guy’s managers giving a “hands off” rule when it comes to Sally as well as a big misunderstanding on Sally’s part, they may never get a chance to see where things can go!

The more time Sally spends with the sexy men of Naked Nights, the more she realizes that they are a group of great guys and when she ends up getting into some trouble they are all there to have her back.

I enjoyed the banter between Sally and all the guys and especially loved the friendship that developed between Sally and Tiny. This being book one of the Naked Nights series I imagine we will get to learn more about the other members and hopefully tie up a few loose ends that were left out of this story. I personally would have liked this book to be a little steamier but overall it was an entertaining read.

Going on tour with a group of male strippers - that's got to be any girls dream - right? Not for
shy girl Sally, she couldn't think of anything worse but it's take this assignment or lose your job
so off she goes.

Turns out that getting to know these guys is not so bad after all as everlasting friendships are
made and the most unlikely of couples fall head over heals for each other.
This book has some really great characters, they are a lovely bunch of guys not your
stereotypical male strippers, all muscle and fake-tan, well not all of them. I feel like I made
friends with them all along with Sally. Sally herself is awesome too. The sexual chemistry build
up between Sally and Alex was amazing to watch. < yes watch I had all the images in my head
as I was reading. It was lovely to see her come out of her shell as the tour progressed and to
watch the self confessed "prude" open up to her desires and fall in love.

For me, I felt like it was rushed a little towards the end and wished that their time together as a
couple was more detailed. As soon as they admitted their feelings and got together it was all over
in a flash. I really hope that this means Sally and Alex are going to get a follow up story I would
love to hear more from them.
Saying that I hope all the lads get to tell their own awesome stories too.
A great start to what I think will be another great series.

This is an awesome story! It is not just a love story, it is a back stage look at a male strip tease show. I really liked the characters. Alex and Tiny became like friends to me as the story unfolded. The other guys on the team were not mentioned as much, but I look forward to their stories. The suspense that is included kept me on the edge of my seat! Be sure to give this book a try!

What an awesome surprise! I was so not expecting this story! And I LOVED it!

So when you read the blurb about a reporter and male strippers, you don’t expect a heartwarming and wonderful storyline! Don’t get me wrong, there is heat and squirming involved, but the story was brilliant too!

Alex and Sally, a most unlikely couple on the surface, are so well written you can’t help but root for them to get naked already! The tension between these two comes from a misunderstanding and a rule that no one fools around with her. The band of boys become very protective of Sally when a threat comes to light. It shows that even though they may take their clothes off, they are still people. Darn it! Now I almost feel bad for objectifying them…almost.

This is one you won’t want to miss. I found it hard to put down, and now I can’t wait for more!!! ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars

I really enjoyed this story! It was such a different twist on a male stripper story! It was a fun, suspenseful, sexy read!

We meet Sally, a newspaper reporter who is forced into going on tour for 8 weeks with a group of male strippers in order to write an article. We also meet the strippers who make up the Naked Nights tour: Tiny, Alex, Jackal, Guido, Rick, Jonny, and Eric (the manager). Sally is a bit of a prude and is really uncomfortable around the guys. However, this group of guys, for the most part, are not your typical strippers.

“On tour artificial and over made up women constantly surround me. They say what they think we had to hear in order to get into our beds. This isn’t how I like my sex. I need a connection, not just some quick grope in a corridor or bathroom stall.”

We watch as Sally gets more comfortable with the boys and really learns what goes into being a stripper; the dedication at the gym and rehearsals, not to mention all the traveling and putting up with horny women. Of course, one stripper in particular catches her attention, Alex. The scene where he pulls her on stage was HOT!

“I can feel the length of him through his boxers. He uses my hand to caress it. F--k, this is so erotic. I’m so turned on right now I’m pretty sure my knickers are drenched.”

This story is told in both Sally and Alex’s point-of-views; I enjoyed seeing how the same scene was different through the others eyes. I really liked the connection Sally formed with Tiny and how protective all the guys were of Sally, especially when crazy came to town. I really liked how this story flowed. It read quickly and easily. I enjoyed the twist on the male stripper and look forward to the next book in this series. ~ Tiffany, 4 stars

I read this book as a Beta reader for Ava Manello.

Whilst there are numerous books about stripes and even ones about male strippers. This is a book about hot, male British strippers!! They are not your average strippers, they are more like dancers, who just happen to shed some clothing as they go along. Ava uses music throughout the book during the stripping scenes and this I think helps set the mood as you groove along in your head to the moves the guys are doing in the book.

To the plot... Sally is a local investigative reporter and takes umbrage at being sent to cover a "fluff" piece, covering the tour of the local male stripper group, Naked Nights. However, as she sets off on tour with the boys, she leaves her preconceived ideas about them behind and learns that they all have a heart of gold and a very protective bunch - which comes in handy later - no spoilers in this review!!!!

Alex is the best dancer of the troupe and his solos blew me away. His interaction with Sally is sweet but the steam fairly builds up and the first passionate scene between them is AWESOME!!!!

I loved all the guys especially, Tiny. Would never tire of slapping Guido - but that just shows how great the character development was. I have read many books were the characters were just blah but never got het up over any of them.

A well deserved 5 stars and can wait for the next book in what I hope becomes a series!!!!!

I was so thrilled to read this book.

I thought it was going to be full on raunchy, sex all the time at every chance they could get, but no. {not that I would have minded that] but it was refreshing to read a book on this subject but 'behind the scenes'.

Sally is a journalist in a small company, she wants to be picked up by the larger firms and 'make it big time' however, her boss has a job for her. She's shocked when he tells her, she keeps telling him she's a journalist not an interviewer.

She has to take this lead or fear being made redundant as people want to read more than just everyday news that they can find anywhere. So off she goes......reluctantly.

On the coach that she has to share with the male strippers is their leader, he gives her a book, its like a profile of each of the male strippers, she's amazed so far that they just seem ordinary, OK some pecs of them and well proportioned! and certainly bodies and looks to die for, but sat like anyone, travelling along chatting or playing on their mobile phones.

Alex is the quieter one in the group. You can see straight away there is going to be a connection.

What I loved too was that this book was based in the UK and I knew some of the places mentioned which again brought it to life for me.

My hat goes off to Ava Manello as this is a superbly told story with a great incite.

I felt I was part of the audience at times!

My Rating:

4.5

Favorite Quotes:

“I can’t say that becoming a male stripper is really how I envisaged my career path when I was asked what I wanted to do by the school careers officer.”

“Look, I never said I was a happy morning person now did I. Until I’ve had a least my second cup of coffee I am best left alone; actually I’m probably best left alone most of the time.”

“I sit up straighter on him, licking my lips. My god, I’ve turned into a hussy!”

“Don’t you dare choose to judge me you sour faced old cow. And don’t you dare judge my friends.”

My Review:

I had fun reading this book but am shocked – and thoroughly scandalized to inform you that there was no sexual activity between the two main characters until 90% into the book – and I still liked it anyway! I know! And in a book about male strippers no less… However, it is consistent with the title of the book being “tease,” as Ms. Manello certainly did tease me the entire way through her entertaining story with tantalizing details of their dance routines, mouth-watering physical appearances, work-outs, and inner thoughts… oh my. I definitely will have extra laundry this week.

The first half of this book was just great. A young journalist, trying to save her job with a newspaper (slowly going out of business like every other newspaper) takes on an assignment she really doesn't want. She agrees to go out on tour with a Chippendales like male strip act to write a feature story. She finds her stereotypes of what the guys would be like to be totally mistaken and that the amount of work and practice needed to make the group a success is phenomenal. And, she falls for one of the guys but mistakenly thinks he's gay.

The last half of the book really bogged down. She is assigned another stupid story about a dating service which she reluctantly accepts (while still on tour with the guys). She sees that the husband of her best girlfriend is on the dating site and she agonizes (stupidly, in my opinion) whether to tell her best friend or not. And then this guy becomes a stalker and the stripper guys try to protect her and the book totally lost focus.

If the story had just stuck with the tour I think this would have been a 5 star read.

I absolutely freaking loved this book. unlike a lot of books this one grabs you from the first page and you don't have to wait till your 3 chapters in before it gets interesting.
The story is brilliantly written, and you can feel the chemistry with the characters bouncing of the pages.

This Ava's first solo book and what a book it is. be prepared to have your pulses racing and need a really cold shower after you finished it. You will love alex and the Naked Nights .

Reading the way alex is thinking about sally made me feel all gooey inside. IT is a Real melting the heart moment. There are a few Lol moments to.

Highly recommend this FANTASTIC book you will not be disappointed.

Sally, a journalist is given an assignment to go on tour for 8 weeks with a group of male strippers. Now, Sally came across as a bit of a prude at times, but i've got to admit i did come to love her. This book is filled with great characters and some very funny moments. Although this book isn't filled with non stop sex, Ava Manello does an absolutely brilliant job of building the sexual tension and chemistry between Sally and Alex, to the point you're just willing them to get it on. And i've got to mention the attention to detail the author shows. Dance routines and exercises are described in such a way i ended up been able to picture it (which is rare for me). Oh and that epilogue *fans self* WOW!!!

Strip teaser is my first experience by Ava Manello and what a tease it is, definitely not what expected and absolutely fantastic in audible version.

Queue Sally a journalist who just wants to be taken seriously but her boss decides her next assignment is to go on tour for 8 weeks with the Naked Nights Strip show, she is less than amused to think she will need to be with these men constantly for the next 8 weeks.

Alex is not the normal guy who wanted to get into this line of work but his talent is definitely visable and Sally knows this for sure, when them sparks start to develop.

Is Sally cut out to last the 8 weeks? Or is the job just not worth it.

A really great book leaving you wanting more.

I was not sure what I was going to find when I signed on for this tour , but I have to say I genuinely loved this story. It was funny , sexy and a great read. No cliffhanger and the drama was minimal. I enjoyed the storyline and loved all the characters.

Sally is an investigative reporter , she is pulled off a story she has been enjoying and sent on tour for 8 weeks with the guys dancing the Naked Nights shows across the UK area. She has no clue what she will be witnessing but she is horrified to think of it. Her life is pretty simple and mundane , her sex life non existent so the thought of being around guys stripping and girls swarming has her nervous. Come to find out in a short amount of time it is not what she thought and she actually ends up enjoying the way this group presents themselves and sets up their shows. Don't get me wrong a few of the guys do whore around and love the female attention , but a few of them actually enjoy their job and have no interest in the women throwing themselves at them. In the end Sally makes some great friends and truly enjoys her time on the road despite the hiccups along the way.

Alex is one of the lead guys in the group. He is a great dancer and a mastermind when it comes to planning the sets and the shows. He is smitten by Sally as she is him. He is one of the guys that never takes part in the crazy fan drama , he is quiet and keeps to himself. Ironically this leads many people to think of him as "not into women" !! Have no fear , by the end of the story everyone knows just how into women , or one woman he really is !!

Sally is hysterical , the things she says about sex made me laugh so much. It is so true , I know I wonder if book sex is even possible !! I love some of her one liners , I highlighted quite a bit so I could share them with my husband !! During the 8 week journey we get to meet the guys and really connect with them and Sally , I truly enjoyed them all , they are great. I loved feeling like part of the audience and getting the play by play of the shows through Sally's POV. The few little bumps on the way added to the excitement of the story without taking away from anything. I loved the ending and of course the epilogue !!

Hahahaaa I really, really loved this book. This was perfect light entertainment with a topping of sexy to boot. What more can a girl ask for – eh? ;-)

Now seriously, Strip Teaser wasn’t actually what I was expecting at all. It was sooo much better than what I was expecting! I loved Sally, she was ‘normal’ a bit prudish and had that annoying habit like the masses of the rest of the population of labelling something without ever really knowing anything about it. I loved her personality though, I loved her wit and I loved her sarcasm. And that scene on the bus (say no more) I laughed and was horrified at the same time thanks to J and his reaction too.

And as for Alex…. Well Alex is not your typical flirty, man-whore stripper. He’s quite a catch but so completely not into screaming hoards of woman that chuck themselves at them, he has more class ;-) And I have to agree that yes indeedy he does ;0)

If you go into Strip Teaser thinking it is all about page after page of sex then well you would be WRONG! And I think that’s what I loved about it the most. The excellent wit coupled with a decent storyline and not fluffed out with page after page of lusty sex but still deliver a hot read – then well – it ticked all the boxes for me for a really brilliant piece of escapism that made my cheeks hurt from smiling ;-)

I know wit and humour is a personal experience, what some may find funny, others may not, but Ava really, truly hit my funny bone with this and she and I were definitely on the same wavelength, which just gave me the best read in Strip Teaser. I frickin' love books that have such a feel good factor! I am soooo looking forward to reading more of Ava's work as after this I am a 100% fan for sure. I also need to say its soooo refreshing to come across a star British writer too and please, please, please don’t lose yourself to American euphemisms, stay rocking the British vernacular, its perfect!

I received a copy of Strip Teaser in return for an honest review. My reviews are my own and are 100% honest.

*** REVIEWED BY FRANCESSCA'S ROMANCE REVIEWS ***

I think Ava nearly had a heart attack when she heard I hadn't read strip teaser, ava has been a dear friend to me during my time setting up my blog and she kind of would have kicked my butt if I hadn't reviewed her book!

So let's get down and dirty like the lovely Alex does in this book! So Sally is a reporter been given the job of going on tour with a bunch of strippers around the UK, who wouldn't want a job like that I hear you ask. Well Sally sure doesn't (me I couldn't think of anything more entertaining!) I love Sally's character and actually feel like there's a lot of the authors characteristics in there, she's independent, feisty and initially reserved. Ha ha the reserved but this isn't the Ava I have come to know and love **Winks**.

Alex isn't your typical stripper he's not interested in the one night stands or the women who throw themselves at him which makes everyone believe he's gay. Well they couldn't be further from the truth. I love this couple they both have the complete hots for each other but are both to blind to see it!

Ava has done a fantastic job at keeping you engaged with the story giving it just the right amount of drama! I personally would have liked a little bit more down and dirty but what can I say I'm a perv! This is a well written story that relates to it's readers and engages with them on a different level than most romance novels. Ava makes you feel as though you know all of her characters like you would know a friend, especially Tiny, So sweet the typical father figure! It's an easy read and isn't the type of story where you need to concentrate to understand exactly what's going on, which really appeals to me currently with having the family to chase around after.

Well this was an unusual take on a story following a group of strippers!

Firstly I have to explain that I very rarely read all the blurb on a book. I`m shallow....I look at the cover and if it's got a semi naked person on it them I'll read it cos chances are its going to be a hot read lol. The title also drew me in!

This is a story about a girl called Sally trying to stay professional when she is sent on the road with a group of male strippers to do a story on them. I say trying, because from day one she lusts after Alex and spends most of the book with damp panties! Sadly for Sally it seems like an unrequited love as she's told Alex is gay!

Alex is the quiet type, preferring his own company rather than cavorting with the bold and brash fans chucking themselves at the other members of the group. But he starts tenting for Sally and can't really fathom why she's the way she is towards him!

The banter between the guys was laugh out loud at times. The `brown bag scale` literally made me spit coffee across the room! That is the sort of things guys do actually say when they talk about conquests so that made it all very realistic.

Each guy had his own personality but the one I found the funniest was Guido, the Italian stallion, who actually came from Cleethorpes! His escapades in the bogs was class especially the chat between him and the girl!

This was a will they, won't they story and was very well written. I thought there would be a lot more sex in it than there actually was, I thought it would be a very hot sexy read, but it wasn't for me. I enjoyed it for the characters and the banter. I would imagine women would find it hotter than me because of the descriptions of their performances!

I've got to give this full marks for the writing style, the editing, the comedy, the realistic man-chat and the great characters.

5 shirt-ripping stars from me!

I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t wait to see what craziness was in store next for Sally and the men of Naked Nights.
This book is a funny, sweet, and sexy read… This is a girls dream come true, spending eight weeks with gorgeous guys who dance and strip for a living. The Naked Nights group is an upscale group of strippers who work very hard to put on a great show for their followers. The group has quite the eclectic collection of men; from Tiny the kindhearted giant, Alex the sweet heart who doesn’t fall for all of the sex-crazed harlots at their shows, to Guido the man-whore who will be happy to take any girls up on an offer for a quickie.
Throughout this book we have the fun stories of the outings that Sally has with Tiny and Alex. They have her doing things she never dreamed of: like working out in a gym with them training her. Sally does begin to open up more and the guys definitely grow on her. She discovers how important it is to not judge a book by its cover, because you might miss out on some really great experiences. Some of the things that Sally would say just cracked me up, (Sally says this after watching Alex practice a routine prior to a show):
‘Watching Alex on that stage sure as hell made my foo foo clench. It was sensual and erotic.’
Yes this book has some amazingly sexy guys, but it doesn’t focus on sex. It is a story told from the point of view of Sally and Alex, we get to experience their escapades on the road, at the shows, at the gyms and in their hotels. We also experience some increased drama that comes into Sally’s life and she quickly learns just how much she has grown to love this group of men. I am so happy to see that this is Naked Nights book 1; I want to read more about this group of guys. I can’t wait to see what Ava Manello is going to give us in the future books of Naked Nights….

Sally has just been given a tough choice. She must give up the reporting assignment she has been working on to go on the road for 8 weeks with a team of “dancers”. Dancers, what a joke. They are a bunch of muscle head stripers and she has to do this fluff piece for the paper because of the huge advertising account that will happen when this feature is written. These days, advertising is the only thing keeping the paper afloat. If she doesn’t take the reporting job, she is out of work.
Now most single women would welcome the chance to spend eight weeks, watching these men workout, practice and “dance” each night. It’s not that, but how will she ever be taken seriously if she writes fluff pieces like this. She wants a real writing career. But when she looks at the stack of bills on her table and the rent due at the end of the month, she has little choice.
Sally is introduced to all the men. She is surprised by the rigorous workout routines they must do to keep in shape for on the stage. She finds Tiny, a huge, well-built man to be very easy to talk to and Alex, by far the most handsome. Then someone clues her in, Alex is gay. Of course he is, the first time in years she is attracted to a man, his personality and then there is his body, gah, so not fair. So for several weeks they are close friends, spending time together, in between shows and workouts. She is happy for his friendship, but it is not helping the physical need she feels, the sexual frustration building with each day together. When an investigative assignment Sally had been working on puts her in danger, Alex is right there to help. How does she move on from this friendship when the 8 weeks end and does she even wants to?
Good story and loved the descriptions and the level of detail. 4 stars.

Sally considers herself to be a serious investigative reporter so being asked to go on tour with a group of male strippers is a massive step down for her. With great reluctance she agrees and goes expecting the worse of the men of Naked Nights. What she quickly realises is that their act is just that, an act. While a couple of the group relish the attention it brings them and takes advantage of it, they are all a great bunch of guys. Sally finds herself spending a lot of her time with Tiny and Alex as they are the quieter and more down to earth of the group and finds herself so attracted to Alex. He's off limits though, or so she thinks.

Alex is probably the quietest and most thoughtful of the group, taking what he does very seriously and is very good at what he does. It is more art than tack - the motorcycle routine is just so hawt!! Unfortunately because he doesn't take advantage of the many women on offer, the rest of the group has the misguided misconception that he is gay.

Alex and Sally both feel the attraction to the other but both fight it for different reasons. Sally, being quite and preferring her own company, is still very much struggling, not with the behaviour of Naked Nights but rather, with the behaviour of the women that come to watch the show.

There is much hilarity here and I just loved it. It is told from Sally and Alex's POV and their voices come through loud and clear in their uniqueness. Whilst it doesn't take itself too serious, this is a light read that is great and a must read. I devoured it in one sitting and can't wait for the next instalment. I need more Naked Nights!

Want to know what life as a stripper is really like, then take a trip with the Naked Nights boys !!
For the next eight weeks you will be entainted by their amazing routines, perfected bodies and back stage antics.
I know I've been with them, well it feels like I have thanks to Ava's highly entertaining story of a group of talented strippers and what happens when a shy newspaper reported goes on tour with them.
Sally wants to be a respected investigative reporter but her next assignment is to tour with the Naked Nights Dance ( Stripper) group, an assignment she is not happy about. She has preconceived ideas about how strippers are, but will eights weeks on the road change her take on the men from Naked Nights?
I had been eagerly awaiting this book for some time and I really did enjoy it reading it late into the night.
Sally and Alex are likeable charathers, even though Alex is a hot stripper he's not arrogant or cocky in fact he comes across as a little shy and unsure of himself espically around Sally which endear him to me . Of course there are the other members of the dance troop that make up for Alex's shyness and it's their backstage behaviour that makes this story so funny . I particularly like the charather of Tiny, the father figure who everyone looks up to and takes notices of. My one slight disappointment in this book - the SEX !!!! There wasn't enough of it but hey that's just me !!
Don't let it put you off an otherwise fab read, hope there are more storiesto come from these fine men
If you are looking for a quick, funny, angst free book spend the evening with The Naked Nights Dance Troop

I really really enjoyed this book; it was a fast paced easy read which I devoured in a few hours.
Sally is a reporter and given the assignment of joining naked nights on their eight week tour… for most women the chance to spend up close and personal time with hot male strippers for eight weeks would be heaven but Sally isn’t most women… She is a shy, quiet, reserved book worm so spending eight weeks stuck on a mini bus with dirty, raunchy strippers is hell on earth…
How will she survive so far out of her comfort zone for eight weeks???
Only way to know is to open up strip teaser and dive right in…. this book will draw you into the male stripper world as these guys turn Sally’s perceived ideas of a stripper underside down and inside out as they take her in as one of them…
Alex is the quieter of the guys and the one they all believe to be gay….but also the one who gets Sally all hot and bothered… and makes her wonder if maybe book sex does really happen in the real world….
This book is sweet yet hot, seedy yet loving, sexy yet fun….as Sally’s eight weeks of hell become some of her best as she starts to see past the stereo-typical image of male strippers and finds she has gained her very own personal army for when times get rough…
This story will make you all want your own gang of strippers in your friend list… I was so pleased this book never took the path of cheesy, trashy, tacky but it was made into a sweet, loving story filled with characters we can relate too….. Personally the only thing I wished for was raunchier scenes as it left me wanting more not wet….. But I am excited to get more from the naked night’s boys in the future.

A gifted copy was provided by the author for an honest review.

Strip Teaser took me for a raunchy ride! This is the second book I've read by Ava Manello. The first I found I just didn't like her writing nor did I like the flow of that book. This one felt like I was reading a book by a completely different author. I don't know what happened, but I'm so happy with how well written this book is versus her other book.

Sally Evans takes a risque job. Well, actually, she's basically forced to take this scandalous job since she's the only female journalist on staff and her career depends on this story: Getting up close and personal with the Naked Nights stripper tour! Who could say no to that. What Sally wasn't expecting were the feelings she'd start feeling for these boys.

Overall, I thought this was a sexy read with a whole lot of hot men. This book made me look at Ava Manello's writing in a different way. I liked the flow of the story and how the characters were portrayed. I'm giving this book 4 STARS out of 5 STARS.

4.5 SEXY STARS!

This book was sweet, full of humor, sexy moments, dirty talk, laugh out loud moments, male strippers that could rival the Thunder from Down Under, one tour bus with too much testosterone, and one reporter who is determined to keep her job no matter what she has to do.

This is Sally and Alex's story. Sally is a reporter and she has a new job assignment that has to do and her job depends on it. When Sally is assigned to tour with a 6 male traveling strip show, she is not happy though anyone else would be. I mean HELLO! Nonetheless, while on tour, she begins to realize she has prejudged these guys and forms a bond with them. She likes them each on their own way but Alex really sticks out to her. With misunderstandings and one internet friend, life is about to get crazy for Sally!

Ok so I totally expected this book to be raunchy and full of sex- WRONG! This book was actually really funny and did not focus on the romance until closer to the end. I loved this book. It did have some suspense. I loved Alex. Hell I loved all of them but I really loved Alex. He was so sweet, gentle, and genuine. I loved how patient he was. I also like Alex though she seems to like keeping her head in the sand most of the time.

I wish the ending would have been more but this is the first in a series. The book does not end on a cliffhanger... I just want more. I am excited for the next book in this series!

I was provided a copy of the book by the Author for an honest review.

Wow I just finish reading this book, and let me say that I love it, love the characters, and love how the book turn out to be, this book had me laughing at some point, and I have to say that this is the right name for this book, because it really is a strip teaser, and I love it, I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.

The story begging with Sally, she is a reporter, she's a loner, and she have couple of friends, she loves her job and what she does, but all that changes the moment that her boss gave her a new assignment. When her boss told her that she was going on tour for eight weeks, with a bunch of male striper, she was not that happy about it, but that change when she met them specially Alex, with the first weeks she got to see how the guys are, and she start to realized that they are not what she though they where, the more time she spend with Alex the more her feelings grow for him, the same goes for Alex the more time that he spend with her the more he wants her, will they get together.

I really love and enjoy reading this book, I love the way how Alex and Sally are with each other, I love it how comfortable they are with one another from the start, and how the chemistry is their, I love how Tiny see her as a sister, and how the rest of the guys become over protected of her.

I just love the book Author Ava Manello THANK YOU for introducing me to another great awesome book and characters love them.
