Okay, okay, I’ll admit it—I’m the worst Wolfennite ever.
I’m not truly one of the devout, bonneted brides who traveled to my sister’s wedding in Scotland hoping to find a pious mate in her adopted kingdom pack. Honestly, I only signed up for the free plane ticket and a place to lay low until I could sneak off and start the academic life I’ve been secretly planning for years.
But my nerdy new life plans are shattered when I—along with all the other potential Wolfennite brides—get kidnapped by our Scottish hosts’ oldest and bitterest enemies: the Irish Wolves.
These ruthless (and super not pious) wolves are led by two Irish kings whose real names no one is allowed to know. The Wild King acts like an animal, sniffing at me and whispering filthy things every time we meet. The Sea King is covered in Viking tattoos—and clearly hiding something behind his unfairly devastating smile.
Neither of them care that they’ve snatched me from the life I had planned. According to them, I’m their prophesied queen, destined to unite the three Irish kingdoms.
Wait, did they say three???
Look, I might not be devout, but I’m completely innocent. So, you won’t believe what happens when I meet the third Irish King… Her Irish Wolves is a knotty 5-fire-emoji heat-level, why choose romance.
Warning: This scorching hot romance contains…
• Ruthless kidnapping of sheltered, innocent brides • Dubious heat consent • Seven Brides for Seven Brothers energy • Lots and lots of deflowering • A City King who’s reluctant to share (and will have to be mercilessly convinced) • A secret kingdom you’ll wish you could visit • The kind of spice scenes you’ll be embarrassed to tell your friends about

This book was such a struggle for me to read. I found Naomi a very irritating character from the start, which is hard considering she’s the FMC. Throughout the book, I found her more and more irritating and was quite tempted on multiple occasions to DNF this. What kept me going were the POVs of the MMCs. Things started to get better starting around the 65-70% mark. From there things were all good. The ending, however, left little to be desired. This being the case, I don’t think I would read the second book coming out next spring.
Before the 65-70% mark, I was quite annoyed by the writing style of the author from the perspective of Naomi. The writing seems forced when it comes to Naomi, who the author kept having drop internet slang and also used references like SIMs but at the same time is so clueless and naive about the world. Also, her using the word “forbidden” so much is something I found unnecessary when describing things like cuss words, internet, etc. (e.g. "the forbidden internet", "the forbidden curse words"). The writing style with Naomi felt quite basic compared to the 3 MMCs that it felt like something written not by a seasoned author.
The character shift of Naomi pre and post-heat was quite drastic and too quick in my opinion. It seemed rushed, especially for all the trouble and escape attempts she had been doing prior to the heat. Same with her acceptance of her carefully planned future being destroyed.
The FMC's personality was just about intolerable to me until like 60% into the book. Also, the ending was weirdly abrupt and made little sense. I don't understand how the curse was over just because she said so.
Lastly, when it comes to reverse harem, I personally don't like it when ALL the sexual encounters are an orgy. It gets boring, and it keeps the author from being able to showcase the real intimacy that the FMC has with each individual MMC. It just devolves into a p*rno. I always like to see how the FMC interacts with each different MMC in a reverse harem and how the different personalities come together in the relationship and in the bedroom.
But when it’s an orgy every time and no one gets personal time because the other MMCs smell or sense two MCs getting romantic and here come the other 2 to stick their 🐓s in (🙄) it takes away from the scene for me.
This was my first why choose book. Whiplash is the best way I can describe this novel. Felt like Naomi gave up on her dreams way too easily and that heat was the macguffin to get them all to accept the bond that 1/2 the polycule was originally against. Finally got good around 60% but the book ends abruptly at 80%, with the rest being previews of two other books. I get wanting to end on a cliffhanger, but I didn’t feel like any of the love was truly earned, she was just dickmatized and they were all cumdrunk. You’ve gotta suspend a lot of disbelief to get through this, imo. Don’t think I’ll be reading the next installment despite loosely wanting to know what happened to poor Sadie.
I was waiting for this book for so long, and let me tell you...the wait was worth it 😍.
"Her Scottish Hero" finished with all the she-wolf women from the exchange program being kidnapped by the Irish wolves. In this story, we get to see what exactly happened and if every single one of these ladies will have a happy ending. The one particular heroine is Naomi, the Scottish queen's sister.
She was different from the other girls. She never wanted to obey the strange religious laws in Canada and only agreed to this program so she could have some freedom and go to university. Well, her plans are interrupted when she is taken to a secret Irish kingdom. It turns out that there are 3 candidates that want to mate with her. I can definitely say that she was the fiesty one. Every single time Sea tried wooing her or Wild doing something according to his character, she tried to run. If I have to be honest, at one point she irritated me because she wants to escape so badly and never stops trying. The two kings never did anything to hurt her, on the contrary. Thankfully, she did start having feelings for both of them, but it took time for her to admit. There was still something missing within the link between Sea, Wild, and Naomi, and that was Dublin.
That man is stubborn as hell. He didn't agree with the plan because he never wanted to accept his fate of sharing a queen with the other two. But then again, when one of the times Naomi seemed to escape, she ran right into him outside the kingdom. Then the connection between those three finally formed. When Sea and Wild found her, he went into her, just right according to plan. Because Dublin was not missing anymore. It took a little bit of time for them to convince him, but everything worked perfectly in the end. He just couldn't deny the prophecy anymore.
When the plan for the kidnapping was put in motion, the three Irish kings - Sea, Wild, and Dublin had a meeting. Sadly, Dublin didn't agree with the plan, and this is the reason why he came in the picture much later.
Wild is the Feral king. He is very impulsive, sometimes angry and grumpy. He is the main organizer of the kidnapping operation. Because he is a true believer in prophecy. A prophecy that says that the kingdoms will be united thanks to a beautiful queen. And that future queen is Naomi. Even though I wasn't a fan of him at first, I have to admit that he was the one who believed in the other kings and Naomi. Yes, he was wild, but he never wanted her only for himself; he wanted her also for Sea and Dublin. He didn't have any problem for sharing her with the other two. To me he became a true king through the story.
Sea was the sea king. He was the diplomatic one. Thanks to Wild, he started believing the prophecy very early within the story. He actually wanted to give Naomi enough time so they could get to know each other. He was definitely trying to woo her. Not that her character allowed him to do much of that. She was still against everything related to him and Wild taking her freedom away.
I am really thrilled that Theodora Taylor took that much time writing this story. Her imagination regarding the secret kingdom was amazing.
All the waiting for those sexy, smuty, and kinky scenes was worth it. As soon as Dublin came into the picture, their mate bond was formed. It was so damn hot reading all of that spice thrown around. I didn't expect to be that good. But then again, with the why choose trope, we always have good writing.
The ending...OMG...it was like a cliffhanger. Well, not completely, but I was so surprised. I can wait until May next year for Sadie's story, where everything related to the ending will be explained.
I received an ARC from Valentine PR and my review is given voluntarily.
I have recently become a huge fan of shifter romances. I have always been a fan of omegaverses, but recently I’ve read more shifter romances and have very much enjoyed them. When I first started this book, I was nervous because there was definitely some world building that I was afraid I would not be able to follow. Immediately, we meet three Irish wolf kings known as Wild, Sea, and Dublin. I was slightly confused about what was going on, but I kept reading in hopes I would grasp this world. I am so glad I kept reading because I was so drawn in by this book. It is long at over 500 pages, yet I read it in one day. I really did not want to put it down. I loved the characters, I loved the back stories, and I loved the world that they all lived in. This book was written so well and I felt that once I got into it, it read very quickly.
The story of the she-wolves was such a different take on things. The she-wolves came from what was basically a group of wolves that was kicked out of amish and Mennonite groups because they shifted. They lived without any technology and were so in the dark about everything. The only one with any knowledge was Naomi, because she broke the rules of their group by going on the internet and having a phone. This is a world where the population of wolves is diminishing, and the different groups have arranged to try to set she-wolves up with their mates. But while the Canadian she-wolves were visiting the Scottish wolves looking for mates, the Irish wolves kidnapped them. I just enjoyed the whole way this played out because while they were kidnapped, the Irish wolves cared for the she-wolves. I loved the three Irish kings. They were all so different, but each one made up the group. Naomi was so interesting because she was the most knowledgeable of the she-wolves but was still so naive.
Other than the plot, the thing I really loved about this book was all of the representation. Naomi is a POC, the Irish wolves allow same sex couples (there is even a moment where this creates some drama), and Naomi even mentions that she wonders if someone is non-binary. The author did an amazing job creating this world, and even though they seem to be a little behind the times, they are open and accepting. This book had some great spicy scenes between the MCs as well as some side characters. I was such a huge fan of this book. It was a great shifter, why choose story.
This is a new to me author and shifter romance is not something I have much experience with. But I love why choose and I really enjoyed this story! We have a confident heroine who knows what she wants and is trying to break free and follow her dreams. And then we have three Irish wolf kings who couldn’t be more different. There’s a prophecy that involves all four of them and that threatens Naomi’s plans. I loved the setting and enjoyed the plot as much as the characters. I didn’t know this would be ending with a cliffhanger though, so I think I have to wait for the next book in the series to see how everything will work out 😄
Honestly, the only character that made sense to me was Wild... the rest... yeaaa naa
Naomi was so poorly constructed that it made me angry, she went for the nonchalant/I only care about myself to I the chosen one to save everyone! The way she made stupid decisions based on nothing but stupid assumptions was critical!
The plot and the characters don't have the same energy as Theodora's other books, it feels very half done, half there... the pace wasn't very good either! Things took ages to develop and then suddenly they were over!
Not a good book! The next one looks more promising, especially as the FMC seems less annoying...! Well, we'll see... until February
As far as a why choose shifter Romance this really hit differently. I enjoyed it so much. This was a new to me author, and I cannot wait to read the books that came before this one in this world.
Shifter romance for me tends to be corny and not enjoyable. They feel very juvenile or just outlandish. This does not have that and I loved it so much especially for that reason. This one belongs in a class all its own, and I cannot wait to jump into the other books in this world!!!
It’s not too often I can say that I’ve read a book centred around Mennonites who are wolves so they’re call Wolfennites. But I enjoyed this! I felt like after the 60% mark the storyline and plot immediately went out the window and it was just focused on their mating. So I’ll say if I was in an entirely different mood this would’ve gotten 2 stars cause I didn’t like that it did. But I’m curious to see how book 2 goes with the Scottish wolves.
Her Irish Wolves Theodora Taylor 532 Pages 3.5 stars
“I wonder, does any of this reach your heart, or do my words fall away like waves upon the shore, unable to touch the depths of you?”
Her Irish Wolves is a book that surprised me at the beginning and didn’t stop throughout the entirety of the book. Naomi is a reluctant Wolfennite( a shifter lifestyle I think is similar to Mennonites or Amish) who was flown to Scotland to attend her sister’s wedding to the shifter king and, in exchange for travel, will be looking for a wolf mate before they start back home. Naomi and her she-wolves aren’t there for very long before two male wolves, the wild king and sea king, kidnap the marriageable females for reaping in hopes they’ll find their mates and have a chance at stopping the dwindling wolf population. After a boat ride where most of the ladies are unconscious, they all arrive at the secret kingdom where the male wolves can pick a bride.
“Do me a favor, will you, my Nothing Queen?”
One thing that stood out was how strong and specific Naomi was in who she was and what she wanted. She wasn’t afraid to stand up to the wolf kings for her fellow she-wolves when she thought they were in danger, despite her naïveté to the real world and how things with the shifters worked. Her ultra-conservative upbringing was a detriment to understanding the new world around her despite her rebellious actions back in Canada. Despite their initial actions in kidnapping the she-wolves, the Sea King and Wild King are kind and somewhat understanding men. They feel desperate in their search for mates, but everyone is respectful once the women are in their secret kingdom. My favorite character was quickly Dublin. He was worlds apart from Sea and Wild in his actions and was more level-headed. Overall, Her Irish Wolves was an entertaining read and unique in the Wolfennite storyline. However, the many POVs in one chapter made it difficult for me to enjoy the last portion of the story, and I had a hard time following the inconsistency in the characters. Occasionally, the dialogue didn’t feel like it flowed organically, but that’s how I felt. Someone else may feel differently!
Thank you so much to Theodora Taylor for providing me with this book to read and review. This werewolf why choose romance was spicy and full of asventure.
Naomi, Sea, Wild, and Dublin. Naomi is from a shifter community that doesn’t believe in technology. Women are also suppressed and not given an education or other opportunities. Naomi is extremely smart and has always wanted more out of life. Determined to become something more than a breeding machine, she signs up for the wolve exchange program to see her sisters wedding before she escapes to go to school. She ends up kidnapped for the second reaping when wolves from an Irish community grab her and the other omega from her terrority and the Scottish territory. There she finds out her fated mates are the three kings of Ireland. They are determined to make her theirs.
I really enjoyed this book. It definitely was open ended in the sense that not every thing was finalized in the book because I’m dying to get some answers and learn more about the world. This is my first book by this author and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I definitely enjoyed all the characters and world in this book. The spice was also really good especially when the random omega went into spontaneous heat.
I enjoyed this book. Naomi was staying in her sisters wolf village and wanted to leave to better her education. Sea and Wild come up with a plan to populate their packs but Dublin wants no part of it. Sea and Wild run in to Naomi and the sparks start to fly. She is 100% a hand full and cannot accept she is their Queen. The rest of she-wolves are taken to a secret place and all of what she knew..went out the window. Amanda and Sadie gotbtheir happily ever after. I loved how she tested her King's patience and became friends with their sister. When the "Heat" came full force it was AWESOME!! The ceremony making them 4 was True and Bonded Love. Wild thought he could RUN but Naomi wasn't having it.The golf cart arrival was SO FUNNY!! How this ends made me mad since I have to wait for the next book to see what happens.
The overall book was okay, but Naomi, the main FMC was so annoying for about 90% of the book. Loved Sea and Wild....Dublin was okay, more so at the end, hopefully we get more of him and his character grows in the next book. I'm fascinated to learn more about the secret kingdom and see how our quartet make it out of the upcoming battle.
I've read quite a few shifter books. the phenomenal world-building of the characters and enigmatic grabbed my attention from the start I loved how Naomi had some backbone and stood up to the kings. it was the perfect amount of spice and sass!
i dnf’d i just cant her lack of knowledge of her own kind is killing me i just dont understand how she got this far in life or even how she started to understand what was happening then did a whole 180 as if she wasnt watching her friend the whole time enjoy having sex i just hate when the characters have no common sense
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
DNF'd - I just couldn't get into this book unfortunately. I received an ARC copy and am honored to have been selected. I know I am the odd ball out because others have enjoyed this book. Hopefully I can pick it back up later on and try again.
I was skeptical, and I'm glad because of course she ends up heavily pregnant by the end. Please authors please stop using "I don't want children" as a character growth device just to have them happily breeding by the end of the book. It's overdone and tired.
Unfortunately, I did not finish this book. After avoiding anything written by TT since the Victor series, I decided to check out this new series and quickly found it to have the same strange and disparaging descriptions of dark skin female characters as opposed to the light skinned, biracial female characters. This is very much a turn-off for me, especially as TT is a dark skinned black woman. Why does she do this? Is there some kind of unresolved internal conflict she has that she puts into her characters? I read the first three chapters several times because the dialogue felt choppy and confusing. I quickly gave up after reading how the characters were written and was disappointed. Why are they always written so negatively (overweight, smelling different, self-esteem issues), is this how TT sees herself?
I’ve been reading TT for several years now and enjoy her earlier work and as an avid reader, I am always excited to come across books by black female authors that centre black characters, especially when those characters are dark skinned. We see so much erasure of dark skinned black women in media, and when they are cast or written, they’re often so steeped in stereotypes and overused tropes that one is hard pressed to see anything positive. Again, why does TT do this? There are enough Caucasian authors that are quite happy to write black women this way, but there are also a small group of Caucasian authors that actually do the research and manage to write fully fleshed out black characters that aren’t stereotypical or that feel negative. It makes me wonder whether TT has a clause somewhere stating she must write characters in this way or it could simply be that she has some unresolved internal conflicts about dark skinned black women herself.
I recently read and enjoyed TT’s shorter Bear Mountain series, and she managed not to write the characters so negatively but again, there were some of the same themes - overweight, self-esteem issues etc.
Overall, though I came away feeling rather sad. It’s so difficult to find well-written books that feature women that look like me, who not only have an author that writes them lovingly, but also doesn’t reduce them down to stereotypes and allows the reader to truly immerse themselves in something beautiful for a change. If I wanted overweight, downtrodden, nobody likes her and she’s on her own struggling stories, I can watch Tyler Perry films!
Picking up the story that began at the end of the Scottish Wolves trilogy, Her Irish Wolves opens with distinct vibes of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers as the marauding Irish Wolves led by The Sea King and The Wild King kidnap the Wolfennite brides and any available single Scottish female wolves for good measure and carry them off to their secret lair. Honestly, I had Howard Keel singing Sobbin’ Women in my head as I was reading this book. Their main target was Naomi who had only went to Scotland to escape her whole Mennonite like background. She dreamt of academia so you imagine her surprise and lack of enthusiasm when not one but two wolves lay claim to her as their destined queen, yeah the Irish are a little more exotic than the Scots when it comes to their mating endeavours and believe two mates are better than one, this could be down to a lack in suitable female wolves but I prefer to believe they’re just more kinky. Although in Naomi’s case she’s yet to find out she’s intended for a triumvirate of kings, and she’ll be the one to unite their three kingdoms.
This was a slow burn, why choose romance not only for Naomi but the women taken with her especially her fellow Wolfennite brides who know little of life outside their secular upbringing and their shock and reactions to the antics of the Irish contingency brings a lot of humour to the story. Each of the Kings were completely different, Sea was barely in control with his wolf fighting him for dominance but wooed Naomi with letters, while Wild, well he was the dirty boy of the three and bringing up the rear was Dublin, a businessman more at home in the human world and totally against the actions of his fellow kings. For me while I enjoyed this book the overall story was a little hard going. The writing is very details but also very slow, I was halfway through the book and there had been little action between Naomi and her two men, her third mate while part of the story had yet to make an appearance at their hideaway, so I did feel myself skimming through parts although once Dublin did make an appearance, the brakes did come off and things soon heated up. I do feel at over 500 pages this book could’ve been condensed a bit
I love a good shifter, why choose romance! This one I felt was especially unique given the setting (Europe - mostly Ireland) and the world building aspect. I enjoyed the spice (quite a few spicy scenes, but mind the trigger warnings) and personalities of each character. There was an overarching story, back stories, and some character development as well. The potential was definitely there and that kept me engaged until the end.
That being said, it did take me until about 10% into the book to start getting invested and understand where the story was going. The potential was there for great world building, but it ended up being a bit convoluted in my opinion. There was a lot going on and it felt like the order some of the items were introduced in led to a bit of confusion on my part. At times there was so much going on, that the details just weren't there to give that extra attention the story needed for it all to come together and make sense as you were reading - especially at the end when it seemed a bit rushed to get the characters into the roles they needed to be in.
The epilogue also did not answer all the questions or wrap up this book entirely and was really more of a lead in into the next book (I think).
It's a solid 3 star book in my opinion. I really did like the premise and the characters, there was just a little bit more editing (better flow mostly) that was needed to bring it to the next level and make the overall story great! It could have almost been a duet to help flesh everything out.
I actually usually love TT books (well when they used to be on KU), however this one was hard to process and fully enjoy. It is a long one, which I usually love BUT the content so jarring upsetting for me. The forced sex/rigged consent books are VERY problematic for me. This reverse harem take gives sex trafficked with rigged consent because the FMC (Naomi) has no idea what to expect with sex as she is a virgin and naive to anything relates to sex, going into heat bc she had a very sheltered upbringing and has no other escape options available...and she despises her captors, as she should. Stockholm syndrome "love" is the overarching theme with Naomi and the 2 MMCs -Wild and Sea. The storytelling in the first 20% or so is very confusing and overwhelming keeping up with all the different characters, transitions and different storylines. The dynamics between Naomi/Wild/Sea was so disconcerting for most of the book, like the “good cop/bad cop” captors trying to woo/coerce their victim/FMC and she keeps trying to escape, as expected, no matter the consequences. I didnt like Wild AT ALL!!! Did appreciate the reminders of social issues like racism and slavery that Naomi tries to teach everyone around her that none of the white characters was aware of at all 🙄, but it didnt seem to make a big impact or difference in the story sadly. But then the glorification of the "biracial beauties" put me back at annoyed. That is a pet peeve...which is why Sadie (one of the many characters/semi storylines going on) also being the "different smelling" shifter that happened to be dark skinned, tall with kinky hair and low self esteem sent me over the edge. The weird fixation some authors have with it is annoying and telling even in their description of the biracial vs dark skinned characters -its always negative connotations with dark skinned characters vs how beautiful/alluring/confident the biracial is...as seen with Sadie bs Naomi, respectively. You get clues of the 3 MMCs back stories through out the book, but mostly at the very end, after they are coupled up with Naomi, which would have helped earlier in the book for you to understand them and maybe connect better to Wild/Sea that take up majority of the book along. The only connection and characters that made sense to me were Naomi and Aiden. You get to see spots of him connecting with Naomi, but not as much as I would have liked. The pacing of the storylines was kind of disjointed, there were too many characters to keep up with that made the book hard to follow. Then just as you start to connect with MCs and story- it abruptly ends. The end was rushed with minimal transition to allow the reader to get that good epilogue or get to see them living life and grow together as a RH situation...but then we get 40 pages of the authors other books🙄. Annoying!!!! You will get a lot of spicy scenes once they come together as a group😜 for those that like that part and am HEA.
I've read this author before, years ago, and remember enjoying most of what I read so gave this a shot. This just didn't do it for me. I feel like the start was pretty strong and I wanted to know more and see where the story went but at like the 45% mark I was kind of over it. I finished it but at some point I was skimming. This book was just too all over the place. And for it to be as long as it was, things seemed to happen too rapidly to make much sense. I get these are wolves & how heats typically work...but it was all so much so fast and just too much back to back. The length of the book didn't allow for readers to really get to know the 4 MC's like we should - I can give Naomi some grace for how she was because of her age & her upbringing but she was still annoying. I didn't care for any of the MMC's - Wild especially was aggravating.
Majority of this was a struggle to read. From the writing style to the dialogue and the Irish words...I had a hard time following along. Also, just because they're wolves and have mates doesn't mean building their relationships should be done so poorly. I'm lowkey interested in Sadie's story but the ending made a poor story even worse for me personally so Idk if I'll read the next one.
I adored this book! It had so many of my favourite things in one place. Irishmen, folklore, shifters, why choose and an awakening moment. Oh my heart! I loved the complexity of our MMCs and how they each brought their own trauma to the mix and needed to work through it for the HEA. Watching our FMC get over the vestiges of her religious conditioning and see the world through a different lens was fantastic. The world building was also fantastic. The author created this world so similar to ours in many ways, but the differences were so interesting and I can't wait to learn more. The slow burn was a smidge slower than I normally enjoy, but it was kind of necessary for the flow of the story so I get it and it didn't take away any of the enjoyment. I loved all of the characters and need more from them. Cannot wait for the next book in the series! That cliffhanger ending is going to stick with me for a while yet and I'll be waiting impatiently for the next installment to see how it plays out. I enjoyed this authors writing style so will be adding the rest of her books to my TBR. I received a digital advanced copy and the review above is my honest opinion.
Wow. Now, I am just jumping in to this series but I'm not mad about it. I loved each MMC so much. Like, seriously. They each met her needs in a different way. Naomi was awesome as well. I loved how independent she was. She was incredibly smart and strong. She wanted a different life for herself from what she was raised to want. She wanted to go to school. She wanted her own life and to make her own future. I loved that about her. Did I still get annoyed at how many times she tries to escape? Yeah, I did. 🤣 I couldn't help it. Their chemistry was fire. I wouldn't be running away from that! But I did understand her and I liked her. But these men were swoon worthy and super dreamy. They were completely taken with her. I am fresh into this series with this book and I didn't feel like I had to go back and read anything else first. It was explained enough that I understood what had happened already. All of this to say, this book was awesome!
I received a complimentary copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
The great part is I don’t need to sign up for the mailing list, I already have it. The funny part is I have The Viking Wolf in my Barnes & Noble app, but when I started my Kindle app after a while I didn’t fill like going back and forth to re-read it over so I purchased it in the Kindle app. I am truly happy to say I have a very awesome collection of your stories and really happy to add Her Irish Wolves. I’m never disappointed when it comes to reading Theodora Taylor books. This was great Naomi had the sass to make this Three Kings pay attention, the description of each King had me laughing at the visual that popped in my head. Sea looking like a pirate and Wild, well his name says it all. The 3rd King was a nerd, they balanced each other, to me. My emotions were everywhere with these 4 but I had a smile on my face, for some reason I couldn’t stop smiling at them coming together and make their union work. This is a must read. I’m on to read Her Irish Bears
Yes Please! This “Why Choose” werewolf romance is a whole new take on werewolves and fated mates. Naomi is in a strict religious society that has brainwashed the women to believe that they should accept the fates that the men in their society tell them they should. Naomi has her sights set on a different life that includes going to college and living her life without being controlled until she and her fellow female wolves are stolen by the Irish wolves from a wedding and mating opportunity they agreed to attend in Scotland. As much as she tries to resist her fated mate bonds she finds that once her heat hits she won’t be able to resist. This isn’t one of the shifter books where the FMC hates the MMC until he touches her and she give in to the bond. Naomi actually makes her alpha kings work for her. They have to open up to her and show their softer side before she fully accepts them. Love this werewolf world and will be diving in to the next book to see what happens next.
