**Please note that this is a novella to Where I Need to Be and should be read after. Finding Spencer is through the male’s point of view and doesn’t cover every detail of the story.**
With a crazy ex-girlfriend who won’t leave him alone, Brandon Montgomery is determined to move on to the brunette hottie who caught his eye at the gym he owns. Things start out slowly with Brandon and Spencer, since neither one can find the courage to speak to one another until they both happen to be in Vegas for a weekend.
It’s not true. Things don’t always stay in Vegas, and lucky for Brandon, the girl he wants to be with lives in his town. Now if his crazy ex-girlfriend, Christy, would leave him alone, Brandon could move on to where he needs to be.
Brandon and Spencer’s story is already written. You know Spencer’s side of it. Now find out what Brandon was really thinking from the moment Spencer walked into Club 24.

ANYONE who knows me.. knows that I adore alternative POV's. also that I think most books should be written from the guys POV. I love the directness of it. The fact that guys gossip as much as girls. All the dirty thoughts running through their heads. Sigh.. I just love it!
So when I found out this was a guys POV I was alll over it! Couldn't wait to read it.. Just had to read book 1 first! lol
Ok so this is the Novella of book 1 told in Brandon's POV about the girl of his dreams Spencer. Nothing new is discovered in this book. It's literally just his side of the story. From the gym meeting, to Vegas, the car, the game, everything!
The thoughts running through his head about his pyscho ex. The way he is with Spencer. How his life was before and after her. I'm not telling the storyline in case you haven't read book 1. If you haven't.. then you should!
It was just as I said. sigh. awesome.
Kimberley is one of those truly talented author's that can write from the female and the male POV and make them "different."
As in one scene. Spencer is thinking Brandon is being all sweet and she is over analysing everything as girls do. Where as Brandon is being sweet as shit but its really because of the dirty thoughts running through his head.
So Yes. You do need to read the first book before you can read this. As it leaves some of the story out and you will be confused as all shiz!
This is the Point of view of Brandon from book one. I loved Brandon’s POV. It gave you more of a idea of what was going on in his point of view. When he first seen Spencer. Brandon was loss from words. He couldn’t find the words to even approach her. It was great to see a guy speechless from a girl. This was the first point of view I actually enjoyed reading. The first time Brandon seen Spencer. Gave me one of my favorite quotes from the book.
“Have you seen her before?” I Asked Jason “Who?” jason responded “Her” I pointed to the brunette I’d never seen before, running on the treadmill. “No, Never seen her before. Why?” “Because, I’m Going to marry her” I said, walking away without waiting for him to respond. This is a short novella in the Mind of Brandon. What happen on his end. It offers you laughs, spice, and sizzling hot sex. Go pick up B&S Series” Definitely worth the buy. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Even reading Book 1 I was super excited to see what was going to happen next!
This book offered me another view of the book which I loved. Because at first I thought something strange was up with Brandon. But after reading this part of the book. It all made more sense. I didn’t see him as sincere before I read this POV. I did after reading. I loved book #1 & Book 1.5 Can’t wait to read the others
Really enjoyed Brandon's POV, more so than reading it from Spencer's view. It's refreshing to read from the guy's view and that he's not the smooth player one might think, especially when Brandon talks about how nervous he was to first speak to Spencer. This was pretty easy and quick to read through, especially since I'd just finished Where I Need to Be. I just need to read Wanted and Anything Like Me so I can find out how much crazy Christy has yet to unleash.
I won an ARC and agreed to drop reviews so here goes...
First i am not a fan of alternative pov books once i've read a story i move along and really don't have any desire to read from another pov. If its all done in one book i have no problem that being said.... CONGRATULATIONS Kimberly you wrote the first alternative pov book i have ever finished. Brandon's story was sweet and made me love him a little bit more than i had before. I loved reading his side of the treadmill episode, and the las vegas encounter. I felt sorry for him dealing with his psycho ex while trying to build a new relationship with someone he felt was the one. I just loved being pulled into Brandon's world. I will be checking out the next to from Brandon's view. 4 STARS. Very well written and captivating.
I love reading Brandon's POV of meeting Spencer and seeing his side of things. I wish all the books were dual POV and we could see more of Brandon's side. I love the instant connection he felt with Spencer and seeing how he felt about things and what was going through his mind. Reading his POV and seeing things all over again was even hotter than the first time.
If you have not read Where I Need to Be, then it is highly recommended that you read it prior to reading Finding Spencer, as this novella is told from Brandon’s point of view and stops exactly where the first installment ends. In Finding Spencer, Brandon Montgomery is in a failing, one-sided relationship with a crazy girl named Christy. He constantly makes himself clear that he doesn't want to be with her any more, yet she just doesn't get the hint. In a partnership with his best friends Jason and Becca, the three own a chain of state-of-the-art clubs with sights set on adding more. As a means to let off steam from not getting through to Christy, he decides to work out because he sees a new brunette on the treadmill. The only problem is that he wants to make sure he is totally finished with Christy before he talks to the new girl. Christy has always thought he was cheating on her, so he doesn't want to do anything that might come back to haunt him later. I know, what a gentleman!
After seeing the new girl several times at the gym, Brandon still hasn't approached her. A weekend trip to Vegas changes everything between the two when they spot each other in the airport walking toward the same flight. Brandon is headed to Vegas with Jason and Becca, and the girl, whom he later discovers is named Spencer Marshall, and her friend Ryan, just so happen to be headed that way, too. They see each other in a club, and after Brandon buys the ladies a drink, he and Spencer share a very intimate dance. The next day they see each other again in the high roller room while playing cards, and Spencer loses to Brandon. From then on, Brandon cannot get Spencer out of his head and plans to do what it takes to get to know her more.
Everyone who knows me in the reading capacity knows how much I love Kimberly Knight’s B&S Series. Brandon Montgomery has always been one of my favorite male characters, and to get into his head in this novella was definitely a plus. I loved reading the witty banter between Jason, Becca, and Brandon that leads up to Brandon finally talking to Spencer. Of course, Christy’s role in this novella is more detailed since we get her relationship with Brandon prior to him meeting Spencer, and she is still just as manipulative as she is in Where I Need to Be. The reader just gets more of her stalker side. For a quick, great read for Kimberly Knight fans, this is a must and knowing that all three books in the series are releasing in Brandon’s point of view makes it that much better!
This the other half of the first book in the " B&S " series from author Kimberly Knight . Think this one is my favorite so far in the series . I think author Kimberly Knight hit this one out of the park.
Warning this book is "HIGHLY ADDIVTIVE "
I Love this book
As soon as I sat down I was so drawled into this book because you get to see the male side of the story in this book. I just blow me away see it in his eyes and not hers. This book full to fill in some of the question I had after reading the first book. I think with this book it made me fall more in love with Brandon than I already had This book was full of so much more roller coaster of emotions. This book kept me hooked all the way through and on the edge of my seat . I fell more in love with most of the character in this book . The sexual chemistry in this book is so hot at times I thought the book was going to combust. This book was so very full of Alpha men in it that I all most need to take a cold shower.
Brandon Montgomery is trying to move on from his ex crazy girlfriend . He try's to move on from this ex and when he see a sexy brunette with killer legs . He find his sexy brunette at one of the gyms he and his best friend own together .But be for he can go after her he need to make sure every thing is done and over with his ex . But this will be easier said then done. He and his best friend decide to take a trip to Vegas the last person he thought he would see at the airport would be the sexy brunette form his gym but be for he can work his self up to say any thing to her she gone. But luck would have it he see her at a club that him and his friend are at . He know after one very sexy dance she will be his very soon. But lady luck is not done with him yet . Because while he is playing poker who would seat beside him but his sexy brunette. He find out all whole lot about her from her and her friend Ryan. He tell her e for she leave the table he will see her at the gym Monday and she agree with him. When Monday comes he make sure she get every thing she needs and after he help her work out he ask her out for dinner . After one very one dinner date he cant get her out of his mind. But this ex is not ready to let him go with out a fight . But will his ex cause him to lose Spencer forever or can they over come his ex or will the ex get what she wants.
Their is so very more juicy hotness in this story I did not share . I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.
“Finding Spencer," told from Brandon’s POV was incredible. I LOVED the entire series, but getting insight as to what Brandon was thinking and how he felt about Spencer from the first moment he saw her, made me fall-in love with him even more (which I didn’t think was possible). Then, Kimberly goes and updates her series covers and has the incredibly sexy, Dave Santa Lucia as Brandon. O.M.G…can he get any more delicious?!? He’s completely SWOON worthy and is definitely a top contender for Most Awesome Book Boyfriend.
From the moment I began reading “Finding Spencer,” I was hooked! The banter between Brandon and Jason was so freakin’ hilarious, I couldn’t stop chuckling throughout the book. I adored Brandon’s friendship with Jason and Becca and loved that they respected one another and had each other’s back.
In “Where I Need To Be,” we got Spencer’s account of Brandon’s and Christy’s relationship, but actually getting it from Brandon’s POV proved to be very entertaining and disturbing, at the same time. Her antics were out of this world, but his description of how she reeled him back in each time, made me laugh my ass off and felt the need to smack him upside the head! (SMDH..Men, always thinking with the wrong head)
Brandon did make up for this slight flaw by how he treated Spencer. His initial shyness and smiles was so endearing and sexy, and the way he approached her and danced with her in Vegas…OH MY! It was smoking HOT! He was so incredibly sweet, thoughtful and wonderful to her; he just melted my heart, especially when he approached Trav-Ass.
“Hey, I said, getting his attention….” “A few weeks ago, I met this girl, I said, pointing to where Spencer and Ryan were sitting….” “She’s Fucking amazing, she has killer legs, can shake her ass to the beat of music I don’t quite understand, and when she screams my name and not yours, I thank the lord up above for making you a complete douche bag that Fucks whores on his desk at work.” “So man, thank you. Thank you for being a Fucking idiot and letting me treat Spencer the way she is supposed to be treated.” - Brandon
Excellent job to Kimberly for making us swoon over Brandon, more than we already have! I highly recommend the B&S series!! I can’t wait to get more Brandon sexiness with the upcoming novellas, told from his POV.
When I heard that Kimberly was adding a series of novellas to the fantastic B&S Series I was over the moon. Then to hear that they were going to be from Brandon's perspective, well that made my heart soar!
I loved the story from Spencer's point of view in Where I Need To Be but to be treated to a big glimpse of the story from within Brandon's mind has been a real treat. I have just finished reading my review copy of Finding Spencer and have utterly fallen in love again with Brandon. He fights hard and loves harder and to see what we see through his eyes has reaffirmed and reinvented the story for me!
I love that we see a lot of the key scenes between him and Spencer in Finding Spencer but it is refreshing to see how he reacted and felt. there are also gaps in the original story that are filled too as we get t see what happens when Brandon is away. I melted at times listening to his side of things and just how he felt about Spencer seriously had me in puddles! Don't get me wrong, he's sweet and caring but hot as hell too! I must admit this novella comes with its fair share of steamy scenes too and oh my god if I didn't love him just that bit more for trying to hold out and keep to the three date rule. You just feel for the poor guy and his sexual frustrations in the beginning!
I love the man banter with Jason too and his relationship with Becca in particular was very sweet. And his take on Christy, well all I will say is that if you hated her before, then you'll absolutely loathe her after this!
One other thing I really liked was that, although we know the story already, Kimberly has highlighted the major scenes in Brandon's POV but in no way does she totally re-write the entire book. Its not needed but what you do get is a glimpse of the man himself that will make you fall hard again!
And just to top it off, the new covers for the series are just perfect too!
I cannot wait for the next novella in this series and well done Kimberly on an amazing addition to the series.
Five stars doesn't seem to be enough to truly appreciate being in Brandon's head for a time!
So Finding Spencer was, well ummmm??? Fucking HOT!!! I may be a little biased because I am Brandons secret lover. No really I am. LOL!!
After reading Where I Need To Be I needed more of Brandon and oh boy did author Kimberly Knight delivered in Finding Spencer. Although this is the telling of Where I Need To Be from Brandon's POV you get an entirely different story. I love to see into the mind of the males POV. So this was a win for me because I am already a Brandon stalker. See I told you I was his secret lover. Not even he know how much he loves me.
Brandon's and Spencer's relationship may have a few bumps in the road, but I have never seen two characters more devoted to each other. Their story is passionate, emotional and at one point life threatening. Seeing how much Brandon loves Spencer and knew from the moment he first saw her that she would be his. The one he would spend forever with, his one. Brandon did more than just sweep Spencer off her feet. He took me right along with her. There is nothing more sweeter and Alpha male then when he put the ex in his place.
BEST BOOK MOMENT EVER: “Hey, I said, getting his attention….” “A few weeks ago, I met this girl, I said, pointing to where Spencer and Ryan were sitting….” “She’s Fucking amazing, she has killer legs, can shake her ass to the beat of music I don’t quite understand, and when she screams my name and not yours, I thank the lord up above for making you a complete douche bag that Fucks whores on his desk at work.” “So man, thank you. Thank you for being a Fucking idiot and letting me treat Spencer the way she is supposed to be treated.” - Brandon
I just lost it after I read this in Where I Need To Be but to get it first hand from Brandon’s POV just ROCKED. Talk about a swoon worthy moment. Hell I melted in my panties.
I am so lucky that I started reading this series when I did because I didn’t have to wait for Brandon’s side of the story after I read the entire series. I got to read it right after finishing Where I Need To Be. Which let me just mention is awesome. Now I am off to the next book in the series Wanted.
*Received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I am a huge Kimberly Knight fan. I will read any book she publishes. Forever and ever, amen. And if you haven’t read Where I Need to Be yet, I’m don't know what you’re waiting for!
If I loved Brandon before I'm officially incurably obsessed. There are no words for him. I was so excited to read his POV even though I knew the story already. We learn more about his crazy ex, Christy and how he deals with her. We also get a depth view of Brandon's friendship with Jason and Becca.
"I'm dating this chick who I have nothing in common with."
Kimberly has blown my mind once again with her amazing writing. I finished Finding Spencer in one night! It was just so good. I mean so so good!! I am very much looking forward to the next novella in this series.
Read Finding Spencer and try not to melt into a puddle while you’re reading it! You just need to read it. You really, really do. So, please listen to me and go get it!
"Watching Spencer sleep was like watching an angel sleep."
Finding Spencer is a novella written from Brandon's point of view. It is quick read that recaps the events that occurred in Where I Need to Be. The reader is given a front seat to Brandon's thoughts and feelings as he relentlessly pursues Spencer. I loved reading how he felt when he first laid eyes on her in Club 24. He knew she was the one for him, but couldn't bring himself to talk to her. He was tongue tied - so adorable. Another reason to love him.
Brandon and Spencer are perfect together. Even with Christy (the crazy ex-girlfriend), their relationship continues to flourish. They were meant for each other. He is extremely protective of her and vows daily to make her happy. Hello! Who in their right mind wouldn't want a man like that?!
Even knowing the outcome of this saga, I was blissfully happy reading Brandon's perspective. It was sensually erotic and stimulating. It is a wonderful addition to their story and I highly recommend that you read this along with the other novels.
Would you recommend this book: Yes. Brandon and Spencer's romance is an exceptional story about meeting your true love and conquering adversity to overcome the obstacles in their way.
Would you recommend this author: Yes. As always, Kimberly Knight conveys a sexy seductive drama that leaves you hot as hell and wanting.
This is the story of Spencer and Brandon told from Brandon’s point of view. Where I Need To Be is book one in the B&S series and is told entirely from Spencer’s POV, so for someone like me who read Where I Need To Be back in December 2013 it was great to hear the story from Brandon.
Brandon and Spencer first catch sight of each other when Spencer starts attending the Gym Brandon owns as a part of her job. On first sight there was an attraction but not a word is spoken between the pair for some time. It’s not until a chance meeting in Vegas that the two finally speak and act of the attracting they feel towards each other. But when they are back home they have Brandon’s crazy ex to contend with and she has no intention of making it easy for Brandon to move on to a new relationship with Spencer.
I really liked reading the story from Brandon’s POV as a separate book. In Where I Need To Be you get to know Spencer’s best friend Ryan and her boyfriend/fiancé Max well and see how supportive her friends are of her life and her growing relationship with Brandon. You can see in that book that Brandon also has close friends in Jason and Becca but in Finding Spencer you get to see exactly how supportive they are of Brandon. Because this is told from Brandon’s POV there are scenes that are not in Where I Need To Be because they are scenes that don’t involve Spencer so the story is not exactly the same as Book 1.
If you have read books one, two and three in the B&S series I totally recommend reading Finding Spencer and if you haven’t read any of the books make sure you #OneClickIt
****Copy received in return for a honest review****
Anyone who knows me knows that Brandon Montgomery is one of my top five book boyfriends. I mean really...it just doesn't get much better than him. So naturally, when i found out that Kimberly was releasing novellas in the B&S series that were going to be told from Brandon's POV I was over the moon excited. I do recommend that before reading Finding Spencer you read Where I Need to Be first.
Finding Spencer did not disappoint. Kimberly nailed Brandon's POV!!! If even possible, it made me fall in love with Brandon just a little bit more. There were so many scenes from WINTB that I couldn't wait to read from his POV, but two of my favorite were the gambling scene in Vegas and of course their first dance. That dance scene is even better from Brandon's POV. And can i just add that the fist time Brandon sees Spencer on the treadmill...I think I melted reading that scene.
I like that we get to see a different side to Brandon. Many of the scenes in Finding Spencer were important scenes in WINTB, but being told from Brandon's POV puts a new light on things. Kimberly filled in some gaps and also added new material that explained a little more about why Brandon was the way he was. The relationship that he shares with Jason and Becca is so heartwarming. And Christy, wow! She is a whole new level of crazy!
Finding Spencer is a great addition to the B&S series and the new covers make it that much better! I would recommend that everyone who loved the B&S series read the novellas too. I can guarantee that you will fall for Brandon harder than ever before.
Finding Spencer is a novella that should be read after the first book in this series, Where I need To Be. This book tells their story from the first book in Brandon's point of view. While Spencer's book told the story and everything that happened, Brandon's book is more about how his life has been and what happens after he meets what he feels is the girl of "his dreams".
The author portrayed Brandon so well in the first book, it is refreshing to see his thought processes about what had happened, and I think she did an excellent job. The characters in both of these books are well developed, the plot is good, and the book goes by really fast and leaves you wanting to read the next part just to see what happens.
In this book we see how Brandon is transformed overnight from meeting Spencer, and how everyone who knows him can't believe how he is acting. The sad part is he has a big problem he needs to take care of that I won't mention, (you have to read to find out), and it is hard reading about how much torment he is being put through before he can go on with a new chapter in his life! Once things are going well for him and Spencer, he is hit again with a serious issue, but this book shows that when you feel like you are where you are supposed to be, you have to give it everything you have sometimes, and then a little bit more to get the life you want and you know in your heart you are meant to have.
I gave this book a 4 star**** rating as it was well written and I really like the way the author portrayed Brandon's story. Now I am ready to read the next part to see how it all ends up!
Brandon Montgomery is trying to end his relationship with Christy. Over and over - he lets her know that he does not want to be in a relationship anymore. Christy never can seem to take the hint. Brandon is determined to get through to Christy that they are over. Deciding that a little workout is in order, Brandon heads to the gym.
At the gym, Brandon finds a brunette on the treadmill that catches his eye. Wanting to make sure that things are clear between he and Christy, Brandon doesn’t pursue the captivating brunette. Christy has always accused Brandon of cheating, so making sure the relationship has ended is foremost in his mind.
Brandon is in a partnership with his friends Jason and Becca. The three own a chain of clubs and hope to add more. They plan a weekend trip to Vegas that ends up being anything but ‘ordinary’ for Brandon. Brandon notices the brunette headed towards the same flight he is taking to Vegas. Brandon discovers the brunette - Spencer - and her friend Ryan are headed to Vegas as well. At the club, Brandon buys the two ladies a drink and shares a dance with Spencer. Later in the trip, Spencer and Brandon participate in a game of high roller cards. Brandon finds himself losing to Spencer, and cannot get the beauty out of his mind.
Fans of Kimberly Knight will enjoy this story from Brandon’s POV. There is more insight into Christy’s relationship with Brandon. The banter between the characters is engaging and entertaining. Readers will find themselves swooning over Brandon, and coveting this novella in the series!!
First.... if you haven't read Where I Need To Be..... stop now and go buy it! You definitely need to read it before fully enjoying Finding Spencer!
Finding Spencer is the same story as Where I Need To Be but told from Brandon's POV. Is it worth it to purchase if you have already read Where I Need To Be???? YES, YES and more YES! There is just something about reading the main guy's POV that makes a book so much better! I love getting into guy's heads and knowing what they are thinking.... probably because otherwise I am completely clueless.
I loved Brandon and got a better view of his intentions and how he felt about Spencer. I knew he truly cared/loved her but I felt his intensity and learned at exactly which point for Brandon that his switch was flipped for his love of Spencer. My favorite part was reading the club/bar scene where they dance together in Vegas... learning how he approached her, what his thoughts were while they were dancing! AMAZING! I think I fell even more in love with Brandon! You also get the inside scoop of what all was going through his head with the CRAZY and I mean CRAZY ex!
The story flowed well and added so much more to the B&S Series! I am so glad that Kimberly Knight decided to write the stories from his POV! I think when I first found out that this was being written I did a little dance because I was so excited! THANK YOU Kimberly for writing this awesome story for us to enjoy!
Finding Spencer is the companion novella to Where I Need To Be in Brandon’s point of view. Of course, the story is the same but we learn so much about Brandon and his side of things throughout the book.
From Brandon’s POV, we truly see how much his distaste for Christy really is and the struggle he has had to get her out of his life once and for all. In the first book, we already hate her but I found a newfound level of disgust with her. We also learn more about Jason and Becca. They are married and long time best friends to Brandon. Jason and Becca love to mess around and tease Brandon. It’s a great relationship to read about.
In this book, we can see that the instant magnetic pull that Spencer had for Brandon was also the exact same for Brandon when he lays eyes upon Spencer for the first time.
“Have you seen her before?” I asked Jason. “Who?” “Her.” I pointed to a brunette I’d never seen before, running on the treadmill. “No, never seen her before. Why?” “Because-I’m going to marry her.” I said, walking away without waiting for him to respond.
It was really great to read Brandon’s side of the story. It added so much for me. I highly recommend this book after reading Where I Need To Be. I am in love with these characters and Kimberly Knight leaves me wanting more and more! Go 1-click today!
I am a huge fan of the male POV !! If i have read books in female POV that I didn't care for and the guys POV comes out I will read it and most times love it !! Love getting inside their thoughts and feeling their emotions.
Finding Spencer was great. I am not a big fan of insta love but it seems to happen alot. Reading about it through Brandon's POV was so much more fun for me !! We get to know his true feelings for Christy , his thoughts at the gym when he first sees Spencer and all his attempts to be near her while working out. It is cute and charming to follow his journey into love.
After reading his POV I can see the chemistry and the feelings were genuine from both sides so even though they fell in love so fast it was easier to see it happening now knowing his side of the story. I loved the infamous leg scene in Vegas from his POV !! Of course the treadmill scene when he can't even run straight !! My favorite though was at the bar when he is out with Spencer and her roommate and the ex comes in with the new chick. When Brandon goes over and talks to him now you find out what he says and it was priceless !! I also loved the dynamic of his friendships.
I will definitely read the other books from Brandon's POV
4.5 out of 5 stars <3 I fell in love with Brandon and Spencer in Where I Need to be, from Spencer’s POV, but as you know there are two sides to every story. To be able to gain insight through Brandon’ s POV was great, to be able to hear what he is thinking after already knowing what Spencer’s thoughts were puts a whole new spin on the story. Brandon is an amazing, strong, intelligent, gorgeous man, who has a crazy ex-girlfriend that he can’t seem to get rid of and a new girl (Spencer) that has caught his eye at the gym. The problem is just like Spencer; Brandon can’t seem to find the right time or the courage to speak to Spencer. Finally fate steps in during the weekend trip to Vegas. The love exhibited between Brandon and Spencer is amazing and electric. I have only read this book and book one in the series. I can’t wait to read Wanted to see what is to come with Brandon’s and Spencer’s growing relationship. How they move on from Spencer being attacked, are they going to move forward with moving in together? These books are a wonderful start to Series for Brandon and Spencer and I can’t wait to experience more of their life, love and I’m sure drama in the upcoming books.
I love reading books that are from the Male POV, it gives us the WTF was he thinking moments we wish we had. We also get to really get into the authors head, right? I mean they have the story from all POV's in their head speaking to them at the same time. I don't know what I would do with all those characters talking to me at the same time. But, hey that's just me! Any way.... Back to Finding Spencer. As I stated before I love to read the male POV's, and in this one we really get to see that Brandon was smitten from the beginning! I mean when you have a HOT guy that gets so tongue tied he can't speak to the woman he is interested it .... SWOON! Brandon is so not the typical bastard that would kick a girl to the curb and treat her badly, I mean it took him forever to finally break up with the crazy ex and make it stick(some what stick). His instant attraction to Spencer, declaring that he had found his one before even speaking to her makes him ten times more attractive! Kimberly wrote a story that was suspenseful, exciting and most of all SMEXY!!!! The way Brandon takes control of there time together was smoldering. Ladies make sure you have ice cold water while you are reading this enticing book. I am on a Kimberly Knight marathon!!!
Yes, this is a novella but jam packed with Brandon’s point of view and it was HOT!!! I sometimes skip novellas in series but I was anxious to hear more from Brandon. This should be read after Where I Need to Be as it doesn’t give the whole story, it just hits on the highlights and you would be missing out.
The novella focuses on the initial encounter with Spencer and their budding romance. All it took was one look at Spencer to see him thrown for an emotional loop. Causing feelings aside from the one’s he’s experienced with Christy, Brandon knows he will do anything he can to have Spencer in his life.
We get some more of Jason and Becca too. The banter between these 3 regarding “Crazy” Christy and he’s pursuit of Spencer was sometimes comical, but you couldn’t ask for better friends.
If you fell in love with Brandon in Where I Need to Be you will be in for a treat. Kimberly will turn you into a gushing puddle of “OH MY” and have you falling at Brandon’s feet. I particularly enjoyed his “thank you” to Spencer’s ex, Travis.
So if the series is new to you go grab Where I Need to Be and start the B & S Series. Then jump right into Finding Spencer. A series not to be missed, and with more novellas on the way, stay tuned.
I was lucky enough to win an ARC of Finding Spencer from Kimberly Knight. As soon as I received it I started reading and I couldn't put it down until I was done.
OMG!!! Reading Brandon's POV was AMAZING. I already loved him in Where I Need To Be, but hearing his thoughts and feelings about Spencer made me fall deeper for him. He is a lover, a protector, and an overall great guy who is also HOT, HOT, HOT.
I am happy we saw a more in-depth view of Brandon's friendship with Jason and Becca. They are so fun and it was great to see that they had his back no matter what. Seeing how crazy Christy really was, was an eye opener; Brandon is a saint for not going ballistic on her earlier.
If you are a fan of Brandon and Spencer, YOU MUST READ THIS. You will not be disappointed. The steamy scenes are just as hot, and getting Brandon's POV made me melt.
I wish I had 2 kindles so I could read Where I Need To Be and Finding Spencer side by side.
I cannot wait for the next novella in this series; Kimberly did a great job and I am sure that Wanting Spencer (B&S 2.5) will be just as good.
I was provide a copy of the book by the Author for an honest review.
WOW I just finish reading this book, and I love it but what can I say, I love anything that Kimberly write, I am a fan of her books, and I got so happy when I found out that she was gone write ( where I need to be) but from Brandon POV, I have to say I love him from Spencer POV, but now I love him more. This is a book that needs to be read right after you read (Where I need to be)
The story begging with Brandon. trying to break up with Christy again, Brandon and his best friend Jason own four Gym, when Jason said he was leaving, Brandon decide to go for a run on the treadmill, that's when he saw her and knew that he was gone marry her, that was the night that change his life.
I love and enjoy reading this book, I love to hear everything that was going on through Brandon heads. the first time that he seen Spencer, and O.M.G. I am so glad that I got to read his thoughts, on one of my favorite scene, when they where dancing at the club, I love it, I did not wanted to finish reading this book, I want more Brandon LOL. Author Kimberly Knight THANK YOU for this wonderful gift, Brandon POV, love it.
If you have not read "Where I need to be" please read first and don't read any reviews from "Finding Spencer".
I really liked the point of view from Brandon. It puts a whole different perspective on the book. It shows the guys (Brandon) point of view on how he falls in love with his girlfriend (Spencer). I feel the more Kimberly writes books the better and stronger she gets as an author with her characters and I think it shows in this book.
Brandon has this weird crazy ex girlfriend and I mean really crazy that just does not get what No means or I am breaking up with you don't call me ever again. She just keeps coming after Brandon and then comes after Spencer. She even fakes a pregnancy to try and get Brandon back. Nuts.
In the end they all figure out that she never was pregnant and really should be put in the crazy ward. All the characters have come over into this book from "Where I need to be".
All the covers now have the same cover models on them to look like the same characters. Very nicely done. I really look forward to future books by this author.
I am a lover of books that have duo POVs, even though Kimberly never did that in the beginning and came up the idea to write Brandon’s POV I was excited because I always love to hear what the other main character was thinking when everything was being unfold. I love what Kim did, I honestly felt like I was reading a different book. Most people might say that the dialogue was the same and it was the same story, but I totally disagree with some of what they say. Yes it was the same story, I didn’t think that the dialogue was same because of course we didn’t get a chance to find out what he was talking about when he first met Spencer and that was what I loved. Kim did an excellent with voicing Brandon; I always try to think what kind of position authors must be in the write in a male character’s POV because 90% of the time they are very blunt. Thank you so much for sharing Brandon’s POV with your readers Kimberly and I look forward to reading the rest of his POVs. You rock lady, as always.
If you loved Where I need To Be.... you will love Finding Spencer!! Finding Spenser is the story of Brandon and Spencer through Brandon's point of view. I think I enjoyed the story ever better through his eyes. His is fantastic telling the story of how the couple met and how he felt about Spencer from the start.
This was a novella, which totally left me wanting more! Brandon is funny and honest. He tells it as it is. The story tells a little bit more about his past. Especially with his crazy ex. Brandon lets you know all about her antics. You get the sense that it was not his fault at all, in this novella. I mean, you knew she was crazy In Where I Need To Be, but not as crazy as she really was. Poor Brandon!!
I enjoyed how him and Spencer fell in love through Brandon's eyes. He loved her as fiercely as she loved him. His attraction is right from the start. I can't wait to read more of these novellas. I think this series works well with the telling of Brandon's side!!
If you haven't read the Where I Need to Be start there first. Finding Spencer is a Novella in Brandon's Pov. When I found out Kimberly was writing more I was so excited to say the least. In Finding Spencer we get more insight at his relationship with crazy Christy (yes she really is as crazy as they come)and what it took to get rid of her. We also get to see his way as to approach Spencer. I fell in love with Brandon in Where I Need To Be, but I think I love him so much more now after reading this. Sometimes when books are written from the other persons pov we get just that the same story written and some things are changed around a bit, but not with Finding Spencer we get a actual story as to how things came about. Kimberly you had me from the very beginning and I could not put this down. This was very well written and I can not wait for more......
This book is Brandon's POV. From the minute he laid eyes on Spencer he knew that she is the women of his dreams. After finally breaking up with his ex-gf Christy. He knew that he's done w/her and definitely wanted to get to know his brunette hottie. After a couple of weeks of seeing Spencer at the gym, destiny finally gave them the chance to officially meet. All is well but his ex won't leave him alone, even pretending to be pregnant just to get back with him... SMH. Kudos to Brandon for actually talking truthfully to his parents about his baby momma dilemma and also informing Spence's dad that he's looking forward to become a member of their family.
I'm looking forward to the next book. I'm hoping to see Brandon proposing to Spence :).
So having only just finished the B & S series! I thought I'd get right on Brandon's POV !
I really liked how Brandon and Spencer got it together, while they were both dealing with emotional personal things of their own.
I loved the interaction between Brandon and his friends Jason and Becca, they all just gelled so we!!, I guess being friends since high school will do that!
It was great getting g Brandon's take on the course of events from Where I want to be.
Puts the crazy ex's and cougars into perspective, knowing that the feelings were close to Spencer's.
Getting to relive the 2nd return from Seattle, even knowing about it still made my heart stop for them both.
can't wait to hear Brandon's POV FOR wanted and Anything like you!
