Dancing with Desire

Rate this book
Dmitry

Remember my name.
I am dark and dangerous, and I get what I want.
And I wanted her. Victoria Harding.

Desires brought us together, but then I let my enemies tear us apart, and now, she’s gone, leaving me with nothing but anger and a thirst for bloody revenge.

The world will burn for my krasota, and I won’t stop until I’ve made each and every one of them pay.

Victoria belongs by my side. Now, all I need to do is convince her.

Tori

You’ll want to forget my name.
I’m a liability, always have been and always will be.

Until I met him. Dmitry Volkov.

And now, I’m a different version of myself. Stronger, wiser, and determined not to let Dmitry’s enemies destroy me. After all, they tried once before and failed.

Navigating a life without Dmitry is hard, especially when he keeps popping back up. It soon becomes apparent he’s not going anywhere, not now I’m carrying his child.

Joining forces makes us stronger, deadly even. They once said I couldn’t take their lifestyle . . . let’s see if they’re still saying that when I’m dancing on their grave.

With their enemies closing in, how far will their desire for one another take them?

Nicola Jane, a native of Nottinghamshire, England, has always harboured a deep passion for literature.

From her formative years, she found solace and excitement within the pages of books, often allowing her imagination to roam freely. As a teenager, she would weave her own narratives through short stories, a practice that ignited her creative spirit.

After a hiatus, Nicola returned to writing as a means to liberate the stories swirling within her mind. It wasn't until approximately five years ago that she summoned the courage to share her work with the world.

Since then, Nicola has dedicated herself tirelessly to crafting poignant, drama-infused romance tales. Her stories are imbued with a sense of realism, tackling challenging themes with a deft touch.

Outside of her literary pursuits, Nicola finds joy in the company of her husband and two teenage children. They share moments of laughter and bonding that enrich her life beyond the realm of words.

Nicola Jane has many books from motorcycle romance to mafia romance, all can be found on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited.

Final book in this mafia romance trilogy. Surprise pregnancy as well. Unfortunately the FMC made it so I didn’t overall enjoy the series. The last 35% of this book was the best. But it was her games and antics. They were old and repetitive.

The story was also repetitive and honestly it got to be boring because it felt like I was reading the same thing over and over again. I love how she gets the bright idea at one point to make him jealous by flirting with another man, like she hasn’t done that multiple times in the books already, and then when the MMC hurts the guy that she was flirting with she wants to act upset and cry, again acting as if this is the first time that this has happened when it’s literally happened every single time. At one point the FMC talks about how her best friend has been her rock for years but in book one we learn they just met when the FMC moved to London 6 months before the events in book one start. When authors don’t get their own timeline straight that is a huge turn off for me. I should not be confused by the events in a book.

It definitely took this book for me to realize that I actually cannot recommend this series. The other woman drama wasn’t even good enough to save it. This should have been one book and maybe that would have helped.

OMGOSH!!! Nicola and Francesca wrapped up Dmitry and Victoria’s story perfectly. It picks up right where Dancing with Delusion left off. Dmitry has a lot to prove to Victoria so he can get her back. Tori is deeply hurt by what happened to her and that Dmitry sided with the two people who are Tori’s biggest threat and enemies. This story kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting to know what would happened next. I have been hooked on their story since the beginning. There were twists and turns along the way. Vivian and Vladimir need to get what’s coming to them. Will they get their comeuppance? This has suspense, enemies drama, revenge, justice, and truths exposed. These two have gone through a lot to be together, especially Tori. They have such a connection that Dmitry is willing to do anything to keep. He does not want to let her go, he just knows he needs to get her trust back and prove to her that what they have is more than just physical, even though their physical chemistry is hot as hell.🔥🥵 I absolutely loved their story.

Dmitry and Victoria’s passion ignited a fierce bond, but his enemies tore them apart. Now, Dmitry seeks revenge and vows to reclaim Victoria, who has become stronger and more determined in his absence. Despite their dangerous world, Victoria is carrying Dmitry’s child, and their reunion sparks a deadly alliance. Together, they’ll face their enemies, no matter the cost. Vladimir and Vivian’s time will come.

I loved this story so much I really didn’t want it to end.

I definitely recommend reading the first two stories, Dancing With Distraction and Dancing With Delusion before you delve into this for better enjoyment.

the end

What a beautiful conclusion to Tori and Dmitry’s story.
There was never a doubt that they would be together by the end and you can’t blame her for making him work for it, he let her down and didn’t protect her, He took the word and ‘help’ of a man that hates Tori and never listened to her fears just like everyone else she ever voiced fear to.
I hope Phoebe and Marshall get to tell their story

Nicola Jane and F.F. Wingfield are both such powerful authors. Put them together and they're a force to be reckoned with. The first book in this series was amazing and pulled me right into the next one. That book drew me into the third and I couldn't wait to read it. These two ladies tied up Dmitry and Tori's story perfectly. I had no idea how this story would end but these two gave me an ending I was not prepared for. Kudos ladies. This is one of the best trilogies I've read this year.

Final book in the trilogy… how did that happen? This is by far the best book of the series. I loved it. I devoured it in one night. I’ve said in previous reviews that Tori was immature and annoying, but in this book she has her moments, but she was much more mature, the story was flowing perfectly, and I just really enjoyed it all. Definitely worth a one click.

I have been waiting for this final book and just let me say it was well worth it. I love the way Dmitry groveled and made things right with Tori. The drama, oh my the drama was well done. The way you made it all feel life like. It is an exceptionally beautiful way to end the trilogy

When I first started this series I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to read it with the BDSM blurbs. After reading all 3 books I can tell you they are all worth the read! Yes, they are sexy, but Nicola Jane & Francessca Wingfield have written all 3 books so well that its about the story, the characters & their interactions. I'm sad to see the final chapter with these characters!
