The last twenty years he’d spent on earth were the best years of his life. And that was saying something, seeing as he’d lived in the lap of luxury his entire life. Still, he’d known that he couldn't keep working for Intergalactic Rescue forever and that his father was going to retire from the head of the family business someday. He’d simply expected a little more of a head’s up that he needed to pack up his Earthly affairs and head back to Polonia to take over.
Marcus was at a loss.
When the board voted to accept the hostile takeover bid, he’d known his days as CEO were numbered. It stung, as the company had headhunted him specifically to turn their fortunes around and he had. A little too well, it seemed. Still, at least he had a fantastic severance package and some sweet Littles at the club he could spoil a bit. Maybe now he’d have the time and ability to see about taking things further and find himself his own exclusive Boy to cherish at home while exploring options on starting his own business.
A Daddy CEO and a Little who just wants to be a Boy. It seems like a match made by the stars but can they rescue each other?
I love the premise of these stories, aliens rescuing humans from bad situations. Here we have a rescue from loneliness as the two MCs have fallen in love but our alien is being forced to return home. The only issue I had with the book, was that about half way through, there were a lot of misspellings and grammatical errors. It felt like the author started rushing at the end. It was still a sweet love story of a little finding his daddy though.
I love this author and have all of their books. I do think, though, that somehow, this book got released without proofreading or editing. There are mistakes in spelling and content on most pages, and having to break them down and figure out what was meant brings you completely out of the story. I will still always recommend this author and their books. I just hope this was an isolated incident.
I enjoy these stories so much and wish that the rescuers were around when I was younger. And it makes you wonder if there are aliens among us in disguise(wouldn't that be cool!)
I agree with the other reviewer--these stories are so much fun. My only complaint is that the story was too short. I wasn't ready for it to be over. Recommend reading.
Made a nice change reading one from an alien Little's point of view rescuing the Daddy. Pity there were so many typos in it. Hopefully that will get sorted once someone informs the author. Would do so myself but have no way to contact them without going through Amazon (which I won't do).
